I'm perplexed! You want and need help. You will need lots of money to rebuild what has been lost. To me, the best way I can help you is to help your economy. The best way I can help your economy is to visit, generating (or maintaining) much needed jobs.
But some of you say you don't want me there. You display animosity to me for wanting to help you as best I can.
Perhaps you need to reconcile your own issues before I consider helping you.

Why visit a ravaged land?
The only newspaper in the state said this week that even LOCALS do NOT want to go to Maui due to the mixed messages and confrontational demands coming from the island. Visitors are choosing other destinations that are more welcoming and affordable.
