- Do we need another gnome crochet pattern? WE SURE DO! Might as well keep the gnome-theme going this year with another adorable project! These Crochet Gnome Granny Squares are quick and easy to work up and you can make them in sooo many different colors. I am using the same Red Heart Super Saver colors that are in my Gnome Corner-to-Corner Crochet blocks but keeping the design a bit more simple. And of course I am putting my Polymer Clay Gnome Hooks from Jen at Day by Day Clay and Crochet to good use! I think this easy gnome square is going to appeal to those of you who are struggling with C2C (corner-to-corner crochet) but this is also a fun pattern to work on for those of you who are participating in the monthly C2C gnome project and have time in-between.

I was thinking the same exact thing! But I'm wondering if I want to stagger out the squares like every three squares make a gnome square, all the way through the blanket. Or, even every other one would still look adorable and probably would mathematically work out better. I don't know, I'm just really excited to start these. And it definitely is the year of the gnome! 🐞🦋🐛
