Before Miguel fans say he was unbalanced Hayden Schlossberg stated both Robby and Miguel were slightly on edge going into the fight but Miguel had Sam so thats why he was winning but when Tory showed up Robby got his motivation and makes come back. Only then Miguel became more off balance and loses. This shows that when the circumstances were the same Robby proved to be better.
I’ve been waiting for Robby to win since season 1. He has been 2nd place since the beginning & he REALLY needed a win. Miguel just competing in the tournament will probably get him into Stanford but Robby being captain has given him self confidence he hasn’t had. I’m so proud of him

I don’t get why it’s also being clarified it’s 3-1 to Miguel, in reality Robby leads 3-2. If we go by the last man standing: Miguel wins the S1,5 fights and Robby the S2,4,6p1 fights. However, both Robby and Miguel showed mercy in the S1 and S2 fights respectively, ultimately being the better fighter at the time.
Miguel is a great character and fighter. He’s very mature and is willing to admit his flaws sometimes and accept defeat if he loses fair and square which is what makes him respectable. Unlike his fans who always have silly excuses for his flaws and act like he can never lose.

As an unhealthily obsessive miguel fanboy, I think its fine that Robby got the w cuz Every character has had a moment where they come out on top, and robby has always been some sort of reinforcement, and since the sekai taikai is the last tournament in the series, it gives robby an opportunity to just beat the hell outta kwon, and since robby and miguel r both the main characters, I wanna believe theres some crazy duo action at the end of the season.
A common saying i see, mostly on TikTok, is "The Show started with Miguel, it should end with him". And i while i agree, they mostly mean that Miguel should win the Sekai Tekai, which i disagree from. Im glad robby has a chance to be world champ after having such a sucky life. And the show can still END on Miguel. The shows name IS Cobra Kai, so i can see Johnny retaking the dojo, and more importantly Miguel going to college in the Valley while also being a Sensei at the new Cobra Kai. It would be a much fitting end, since Miguel didnt join to be a champion and for the glory, just to be badass.

This also helps Daniel learn Johnny is just like miyagi, and not everyone starts off with perfect beginnings, but it’s how you finish is all that matters. And I see the show ending with Daniel telling his version of cobra Kai isn’t bad at all since his students fight with honor and respect for their students, and Johnny and Mike Barnes take over cobra Kai and mentoring many other students as Daniel funds it.
Robby is my Top #1, he had the most potential. Miguel just learned karate before robby. And Miguel had a badass sensei. Not saying Larusso isnt badass.

I have only one issue with this fight: Robby only improved when Tory was there. He was giving his all beforehand but as soon as she popped up, that's when it changed and he won the fight

I have a feeling Robby is going to get jumped by a group of Cobras and get seriously injured (like Miguel was after the school fight). It wouldn't be as severe but it would be enough to temporarily remove him from the competition. That will lead to Tory turning away from Kreese. Miguel will then help Robby with the emotional distress due to such a traumatic injury, since Miguel has already gone through that sort of situation. Miguel will take the captain spot while Robby recovers, but I could totally see Robby coming back to compete in the final. Miguel would probably get off the waitlist before the final, so he'd willingly step aside without regret to let Robby have his moment.

Difference was robby was able to fight with a clear head which gave hime the deserved win while miguel was probably distracted about the future which cost him the match. Robby deserves it because if Miguel was able to clear his head and focus on the match then the outcome would be different, Robby's win is proof he deserves it.

I don’t get why it’s also being clarified it’s 3-1 to Miguel, in reality Robby leads 3-2. If we go by the last man standing: Miguel wins the S1,5 fights and Robby the S2,4,6p1 fights. However, both Robby and Miguel showed mercy in the S1 and S2 fights respectively, ultimately being the better fighter at the time.
Miguel is a great character and fighter. He’s very mature and is willing to admit his flaws sometimes and accept defeat if he loses fair and square which is what makes him respectable. Unlike his fans who always have silly excuses for his flaws and act like he can never lose.

As an unhealthily obsessive miguel fanboy, I think its fine that Robby got the w cuz Every character has had a moment where they come out on top, and robby has always been some sort of reinforcement, and since the sekai taikai is the last tournament in the series, it gives robby an opportunity to just beat the hell outta kwon, and since robby and miguel r both the main characters, I wanna believe theres some crazy duo action at the end of the season.

A common saying i see, mostly on TikTok, is "The Show started with Miguel, it should end with him". And i while i agree, they mostly mean that Miguel should win the Sekai Tekai, which i disagree from. Im glad robby has a chance to be world champ after having such a sucky life.
And the show can still END on Miguel. The shows name IS Cobra Kai, so i can see Johnny retaking the dojo, and more importantly Miguel going to college in the Valley while also being a Sensei at the new Cobra Kai. It would be a much fitting end, since Miguel didnt join to be a champion and for the glory, just to be badass.
Honestly this vid made me feel better about Miguel losing but the captain thing is stupid as hell because what if Miguel outperforms Robby in the sekai taikai? It just takes away so much tension imo that Robby gets to fight in the finals when it’s possible their dojo may advance as far because of Miguel or hawk

Also, Miguel representing Miyagi Do as Captain would feel so out of character knowing the fact that he started off as a Cobra Kai. on the other hand Robby was Daniel's first mentee in a while after Samantha. so it makes sense why Sam and Robby came to be as the Team Captains. you could see that from a mile away. but I don't blame you, your vision turns out to be very narrow as a result you fail to see the bigger picture.

It makes sense at the end because although he didn’t start out as miyagi do, he found a mentor in Johnny that helped him find balance and peace in his life. So this would perfectly represent that Johnny is way more like miyagi then he thinks and eventually giving Miguel the same advice that miyagi did that helped him win the all valley. This also helps Daniel learn Johnny is just like miyagi, and not everyone starts off with perfect beginnings, but it’s how you finish is all that matters. And I see the show ending with Daniel telling his version of cobra Kai isn’t bad at all since his students fight with honor and respect for their students, and Johnny and Mike Barnes take over cobra Kai and mentoring many other students as Daniel funds it.

You win some. You lose some. Robby won fair and square. It was obvious he wasn't focused until Tory showed up. This fight reminded me of season 1 Robby when even though he was injured, he was still doing his thing. I don't understand why Miguel fans are crying up a storm over this. He lost to another fighter who's always been considered his equal. Nothing embarrassing about that. At least Hawk fans had a legitimate reason to be mad when he lost to Kenny. Just because Miguel lost a fight doesn’t mean he's not an excellent fighter.
Miguel was stated to be unbalanced as a reason to him losing by the creators. Sure robby won and I have no problem accepting that. What I do have a problem is some of yall think that changes anything or that robby is now the better fighter

The outcome of their clashes has always been about either who wants it more or who's injured or who's better prepared. In reality, it's whoever the writers want to win at the time.
One final thought. Some of you fans keep stating that Miguel lost because he was "unbalanced" and wanted to win so badly. However, I highly doubt this would be the case if he won. Miguel's drive to win was no different than when he faced Robby in season 1. By the way, in the past, I recall the same creators have made comments about Robby losing his balance since season one.
In my opinion, their season 6 clash solidifies them as equals. It can go either way when it comes to those two. Again, you win some, you lose some.

I have a feeling Robby is going to get jumped by a group of Cobras and get seriously injured (like Miguel was after the school fight). It wouldn't be as severe but it would be enough to temporarily remove him from the competition. That will lead to Tory turning away from Kreese. Miguel will then help Robby with the emotional distress due to such a traumatic injury, since Miguel has already gone through that sort of situation. Miguel will take the captain spot while Robby recovers, but I could totally see Robby coming back to compete in the final. Miguel would probably get off the waitlist before the final, so he'd willingly step aside without regret to let Robby have his moment.
Robby always deserved it. Miguel has always been his villain and this is the first step to freeing himself from his abuser's hold.

Difference was robby was able to fight with a clear head which gave hime the deserved win while miguel was probably distracted about the future which cost him the match. Robby deserves it because if Miguel was able to clear his head and focus on the match then the outcome would be different, Robby's win is proof he deserves it.
