At the end of homecoming when tony offered the suit to peter he refused but if tony was there in place of peter, tony would have accepted the suit thats what changed tony's mentality
i hates when people were saying that tony took over spider-man’s movie and shouldn’t have been in it so much but what they failed to realize is that you can’t hand a kid a football and tell him to make it to the nfl with no help that kid is going to want help and a mentor and someone to look up to so they can grow and succeed so i say that tony helped peter while peter helped tony and it was a relationship i adore because it was like a broken father learning to love a kid and a kid learning to look up to someone and be a better person
matthew turner technically not broken father cause he wasn’t a father until endgame. He was just pepper’s boyfriend then became husband at the end of homecoming
I disagree. There are plenty actors that only ever play themselves and at some point it gets annoying or predictable. Actors that portray multitudes of personalities disjunct from other characters they play are good actors. Whenever you watch a movie, you want to see the character, not the actor.
No, that's how you spot a great Typecast. Otherwise, it would be the other way around. If an actor was able to portray a character so well that they appear like a completely different person, NOW THAT'S how you spot a great actor.
The picture of Tony & Peter isn't just the reason Tony "worked out" time travel, it was a clue on HOW to work out time travel, if you look at the photo, they're holding a certificate, which is upside down (inverted), then he brings up the mobius strip, and inverts it, et voila, time travel worked out!!!
He was looking at the pic cause Peter was the reason for working on that. But yeah, you're right, that scene was about figuring out how to time travel.
I would like to point out that yensen's death in Iron Man 1 was actually a huge part and a great reason for a selfish guy change into a responsible guy who wants to change things around him and make it better for all. He even went to greater measures as even fighting his own teammates to ensure that there will a protective protocol under right hands and people of the planet are safe from any and all threats. And this all sense of compassion and responsibility started when he saw yensen die for him , and even after sacrificing himself, yensen's final words were, live.
Also I deeply agree that Tony became more mature when Peter came into picture, but it's not that Peter was a turning point, he started taking responsibilities, but was not that serious about it, but when he saw himself in Peter he realised that he doesn't want Peter to become a version of himself, He wanted Peter to be better. That's what brought our the best and most responsible and most serious version of The Tony Stark.
You are not wrong but a character arc and its development takes a few turning points. In my opinion Yinsen's death was the first point it made him put his heart in Iron man. Second one was pepper, It worked more as a personal regiment so...👀and last but not the least was peter. Well maybe there was Morgan too but we haven't seen much of a post Morgan tony so...👀
@@luciferosborn3319 yup idk if you got that from when Peter says he wants to be like Tony and Tony saying and I wanted you to be better and God I sound like my father. The amount of detail in these movies makes me think that these characters are actually real and they live among us. That’s how amazing marvel really is.
People say that Steve Rogers be a better mentor to Peter Parker. But deep down Tony was the better mentor in a much deeper level. Tony had his wealth and intelligence on tech, that was his Powers which flood his ego, soon to realize the mistakes he has made when he realize the terrorist are using his weapons. We know the story behind Spider-Man, even to the greater extent the original 616 Peter Parker, he was about to become a TV Sensation and his ego got the better of him. Led to the death of Uncle Ben. Without a doubt Tony saw a lot of himself in Peter, and Peter is growing up in a world full of Super Powered Freaks at a young age. Tony knew Peter will need to learn more.
To be honest, if Pepper had died in Iron Man 3, Tony would have died minutes later xD After all, she's the one who took down the Mandarin One happy couple, complaining about giant bunnies in Heaven
7:11 not just that but also he got the idea of the mobius strip time travel. As you can see in the photo,Peter was holding the certificate upside down which gave him the idea of inverting the mobius strip for time travel.
I think Tony also changed a lot when he was trapped on the ship with Peter in Infinity War... Maybe it was like being on a spiritual journey with the better part of his consciousness.
@The Canadian Lad... If you watched the "Agent Carter" TV series, you would have noticed that Tony Stark's story Arc mirrors his father's (Howard Stark). Watch "Captain America - the first Avenger", "Agent Carter", "Iron-Man" (1, 2 & 3), "Ant-Man", "Captain America - Civil War", and "Avengers Endgame" (Howard Stark's story arc). You'll see that history repeats itself through his son (Tony Stark).
1. This guy is criminaly underrated.. 2. I am sure most of the things our Canadian lad says are just great coincidences and MCU never didn't even think about it. 3. Much support 😉
I love how he's just like, "Peter's just like Tony but just younger and poorer," and the first thing that comes to my mind is: Tony: STONKS Peter: NOT STONKS What is wrong with me?
What Tony see's in Peter is his past self. The only difference is that Tony grew up with his parents while Peter grew up with his Aunt. He doesn't want Peter to experience what he did growing up that's why he made his best to be Peter's not just a friend, but also a father figure.

100% agree. a well done development of personality, from "...if my math is right, and always ...." (Iron Man 1, when Tony explain Yinsen) to "I was wrong" (Spider-Man: Homecoming).
I got the moment in Avengers: Endgame, exactly why Tony Stark saw himself in Peter Parker. After taking the gauntlet from Black Panther, SpiderMan never loses track of the gauntlet until Captain Marvel took charge though he was terribly injured by rain fire. He never left his responsibilities though he was in life risk, what Tony Stark usually does! That was one of the iconic moment

Tony was just agreeing that it involved money because of the stark internship as shown in civil war scene where tony gives students some money for projects. He was just improvising😂. Anyways spiderman doesn't do good work for money.
The contract that tony made with the government also protects Peter parker And yes tony probably left a little bank account to peter as a gift with some millions in it Remember that peter technically is still a teenager Its not until the phase 5 that Spiderman character will be grown And he will lead the young avengers team
