    I'm about to do my first change today...so here I am. I did buy a cup style filter wrench that fits on a 3/8 ratchet to make it easier as I plan to have the motor for a while. Thanks for sharing.

    I was able to find a genuine new Suzuki oil filter wrench on Ebay. Haven't used it yet, but used similar ones for decades on my motorcycles. Seems it could be the same one used on Suzuki car engines. Much easier than channel locks. Less than $20.

    i have 17 ft x 5 ft 8 inch beam boat,do u think 90hp suitable or 60 is fine ?im afraid the transom will be heavy with fuel tank & me 95kg drivin it

    • @obscur156
      @obscur156  3 года назад +1

      Hi,is your hull rated for 90 HP?
      Is it a Freighter Canoe?
      Suzuki 90 HP is the lightest 90 4 stroke on the market right now.(344LBS)
      I added bracing to the transom since my canoe is rated for 50 hp lol.
      Mine is 22 feet long and float like a champ.
      If you have more question,just ask.
      Cheers.

      @@obscur156 the prob with my country boat maker they didnt put any manufacturer plate, so unable to know. its not a canoe its more to fibreglass boat. usually i saw people r using 60hp 2 stroke so putting 90 4 stroke is a big gamble, never saw someone using it..

      @@OrcaAngler My canoe is the same, no official Government plate, only a plate that says this boat is ok in Canada.
      It's all hand made like artisanal build.
      Maybe you can ask your manufacturer what they think about that with a 90 HP.
      Don't do it if that boat is hold cause your transom could be rotted...
