I sort of took it as the husband going through a deep dark depression, and the creature as a metaphor for suicide. The husband was on the verge and the wife could feel it. The husband locks her out of the house so that he can kill himself, but she struggles with the “creature”. Upon realizing that he can’t leave her and that he does have someone who really loves him, he takes her hand and and can finally start the slow process of healing (why he still looks so sad at the end).

I thought the same as far as the creature representing what ever they were struggling with in their relationship, but suicide didnt cross my mind. Now it just fits.

Yes, the creature born out of our fears grows in the spaces between us. It will hurt both you and the one you love despite you intentions and you may not even realize it. If you don't want it to destroy or kill you and the relationship, you must share and express those fears and hopefully get to a place where you can grow together again. .... a sequel? Things will never get back to the way they were, to expect it to is foolish; fears only fade, wounds leave scars, but fight for love, its worth it and much more rare than you think.

It seemed to me that the creature hurt the women at first because their relationship was bad. When he he didn't come home, things got worse. When their love for each other came back out of desperation, the creature had no more control, and they came out truly loving each other again. It was a great ending. So many times, we see bad endings to horror films. This is what we need more of in horror films. Good endings. Very well done. Thanks for the film.

Wow this is deep! Sometimes men feel the fear that they will disappoint the wives so they tend to be aloof and withdrawn. And the creature just helps them connect again.

Kudos to u all for portraying the mental health issues as a monster not just affecting the person with the issue but also those around him. His loved one...together you can work through it..

This house is amazing. The shots were carefully taken, with all those decorative items like the convoluted white mirror in the bathroom, the witch mirror clock, the painting in the dining room, the candles... Swallow birds, mirrors, the symbolism is pretty well expressed through the environment
It really has some strong depression undertones. How the "creature" isolates you and how you gotta have someone to help you navigate through it (many someones tbf) and you sometimes gotta turn around and look or you won't ever face it. Superb short.
Watched 6 shorts so far tonight and each time it gets worse. A horrific night indeed
This was an interesting story. The way I interpreted was that there was a negative force that had a stronghold on the young couple but only until they finally came together at the end with positivity is when the negative went away. Great short!

Excellent! I've been watching a lot of horror shorts and so many of them rely on the same old, tired jump scares and story lines. But this one is different, bravo!
That's an amazing bathtub 🛁 and whoever did the Creature's makeup or costume 👀is phenomenal! This was definitely terrifying. That thing was an abomination 🤣

If you don't like the typical blood, guts and gore horror movies.. look up "psychological horror", they are usually on a whole nother level. Some of them are more realistic and are horror because it's truth and the mind is still yet to be understood, which is scary. I think you'll really enjoy them. I prefer them over guts and gore,.. these psychological horror filmmakers don't always feel the need to have naked women, sex and grotesque sexual acts either, although there's references to some of that stuff. The realities of mental illnesses, genuine clinical depression and anxiety, personality disorders, PTSD & manic depressive disorders and childhood trauma effects are scary.
I have a snuggly blanket for us, strong arms, the world's softest couch, and Lew the cat. Come over, I have good taste.

Your creature kicks ass! Good work to all. His soul is the creature! Her gentle touch from her loving heart keeps the creature at bay. But she lets this dinner go. Next time he doesn't let her know he wont be home for dinner. He will get the wrath of her creature from her soul!

Since the monster could have killed the boyfriend before she gets back into the house, I don’t think it’s trying to kill them. I think it was trying to scare them in order to fix their relationship.

So I think I got what's going on . The story starts off with the guy going to work with a bad case of constipation. It bothers him so much he won't even let his wife help him with his tie. Later when he comes home depressed because he was fired from farting too much at work. Finally the Poop monster attacks them both for revenge for keeping his brother locked up. His wife hands some laxatives so that he can finally go. In the morning he is feeling embarrassed until his wife lets him know that everybody has problems with that every now and then.

It's was very creepy and terrifying creature😮...and the lady was very scare with us..
I thought that was some personal problems in their life, maybe husband get bored over his wife and his job, most relationships go through this, and they needed to experience something mysterious and dangerous to understand that they can't live without each other. Also i think that if there are some creatures that humanity doesn't knows about, those creatures could be harmless and smart, doesn't matter how it looks.
Regardless of the storyline I still wouldn't stay in that house.

I liked it because I like eerie and chilly things and short horror films are great, and I love the concept of this, but Peter is an idiot. His partner literally told him not to turn around, not even a second later her turns around. LOL If my partner called me in a panic, freaking out and tells me that I need to walk faster and not to turn around, bitch, I'm not turning around! I trust her, I believe her.
The reason Peter lost his job is, I'm assuming because he cannot follow direction.
I'd like to add, this was cool though. Really liked the creature design as well. Solid stuff.
