i love how clear you are in your voice overs, detailing what keyboard shortcuts you used even though you've already stated it on screen! i also appreciate your pace, it's slow enough for me to make sense of everything you just said! :) thank you so much!
Superb tutorial, my notebook is getting filled with notes very quickly. I'm literally treating this like a university level introductory course. It's insane how good you are at this.
You are AMAZING ..Thank you so much for what you do .. I appreciate your pace too and i love your accent, not only help me to understand all the adobe programs but also help me to improve my english pronunciation. YOU ROCK!!! ;-)
Just Ctrl + Enter also works for deselecting. I can also move the text around while it's selected by holding Ctrl and then moving it with the mouse. I use Windows 10 and PS CC 2017. Someone please correct me if these shortcuts differ in function from the ones he uses in the video.
Dear Gareth, I got the wrong message that some text layers contain fonts that are missing even I down load all fonts from three links you recommended. How to fix the issue? Thanks!
where exactly are the instructions on how to install fonts Gareth? Been following from episode one but this threw me off a tiny bit lol. I have downloaded them all I need is to install em and keep it moving. Reply pretty pleasseee!
@@YoussefNofal00 First, you should download the PROJECT FOLDER and then go to ESSENTIAL PRACTICE - 15 - TYPE TOOL. There's gonna have a document named FONT INSTRUCTIONS. All you have to do is just copy the links and then download it. When you finish, remember to extract the files - open the font files - press "INSTALL" Hope this helpful
Hello! I completed this course and it was great, however now whenever I use the Type tool, it automatically pastes the text from this course. "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Quis ipsum suspendisse ultrices gravida. Risus commodo viverra maecenas accumsan lacus vel facilisis." It pastes the whole thing everytime... how can I fix this?
Hey, there I have a Problem. Now that I have followed all the instructions, every time I use the Type tool and drag to create a box the latin Text from the tutorial appears. When I select a different Text with cmd+c photoshop does not care and still copys the old text from the tutorial, can anyone help ?
SIR WHEN I HIT "T" ON KEYB AND CLICK ONCE THEN SAMPLE TEXT APPEARS "LOREM IPSUM DOLOR ..." why it's not blank just like your video you click once, And Blank Textbox with cursor appears. but i am on a.ps-cc-2019 and Sample Text Appears Lorem ipsum... How to Remove sample Text Permanently
Most likely I am doing it wrong but when I press CMD D ENTER the text does not deselect. What am I doing wrong? Could It be they changed the command in Ps cc 17?

select the correct layers and make sure that your layers are not locked
I've faced the same case. If you try it again with right cmd key on the keyboard, you'll see it runs.
By the way, just cmd+enter works as well.
hey Gareth ..can u make DaVinci Resolve 14 tutorials ...basic level to pro level....
its really great programme but the sound is not good
what do you mean by CMD, press and hold cmd i did not get it..

I am unable to add more TYPE, when my text prompt is at the end and hit "Enter" .. What do I do???
You need to press the command "Ctrl/Cmd + D + Enter" to finalize a selection and deselect your current type.
