Great and simple explanation! I have only one question: in the last layer style "Colour overlay", I am interested to know how to do it like the form it was before you apply the color overlay. I mean by that, before you apply it was a different degree of colors in different regions with specific shapes... Can we do that using photoshop?
Do you happen to have a video that demonstrates how you create those gradient/origami effects for the red bird? Would love to know. Been looking everywhere.
This was real helpful, however noticed there weren't any gradients used for that purple bird (as opposed to the red). Being said, is there another resource that could explain how that was accomplished?
When I try open the font document and download the fonts, Photoshop says could not process your request because it is the wrong document. I tried opening the document in Microsoft Word and download the fonts but it still didn't install the fonts into PS. I'm not sure what's going wrong?

but in earlier episodes Fx icon did not appear.... Then how did it appear now ?
or i missed to see the FX Icon was always there ? Pls. answer
