Great video! However, I'm surprised you didn't mention the inverse selection? That would have been great to quickly select the outline of the birds. Also, like someone mentioned below, using the pen tool for selections. (I have not watched every thing, so maybe you mention those later, which I hope you eventually did.)
Is there any way to go one step away when you made a selection but not exactly how you wanted to? Is there any way to remove only last "touch" and not to repeat the selection because of one mistake?
I don't have a paint bucket tool in my tools menu and when I press G, I don't get a paint bucket. I get a group layer. I am lost at this point in following along. I also lost the circle select option and only have a rectangle option available. Perhaps the tools didn't download correctly with the free Adobe PS trial download. Bummer because I like following along.
You probably did Ctrl+G (or Cmd+G for Mac OS), that is a Group layer. Just press the letter G. The paint bucket is part of the set of tools in the Gradient tool (click right on the little triangle . If you select the oval marquee tool, hold Shift to make a circle.
Maybe the bucket tool is not active. Go to the gradient tool and use the drop down list for the gradient tool and active the bucket tool. Now press G to use it!
SIR, I am experiencing a problem can you help me out ? When i use the polygonal lasso tool, sometimes while selecting an object if there are any minute detail and i try to select through it, accidently the lasso makes a selection from the point where i start to that area, i do not want to deselect all and start over again but i want to go back to my earlier step and make the selection properly so that i can select my desired area and move on to complete the selection of whole object. On pressing (ctrl+z)or backspace it deselects or removes the whole area... and i have to start over again.. what should I do ? please do reply.

I think it's just a copyright note, since he created all these images to this course. There is nothing wrong with your Photoshop, the same happens to me.

I can not move my screen to right just like you did on 5:12 what am i doing wrong? My scrubby zoom is checked.
You can always press Space and that hand will appear, or 'H' but space is much easier as it doesn't change the tool you are using.
