@ it is Okay… but I have definitely had more than a few fly into the print and mess things up. Silks and PETG are definitely the worst culprits. The PTFE replaceable contact with the nozzle is genius!
saw ur knife on bambu labs slicer software looked cool then i scrolled and found this. I'm printing it right now, the current ptfe tube wiper that comes with my p1s is ok but really not the best because it always leaves a piece of filament string attatched or it gets stuck. Hopefully this does better!
@@iczfirzhey uh for your next version maybe you can make it stronger, because I gave it some e sun petg and one of the pieces easily snapped off even though my filament was completed dry and the ams had a lot of desiccant like around 500 grams worth. The piece that broke off is the holder where it holds the 4 39mm ptfe tubes and it broke at the top 2nd hole.
@@Engi662 It is a good balance thickness base on BambuLAB PETG Basic/HF. Chances are you made the wipers too long, causing the clicking action to be too strong. Or of course it could be the sun petg not flex enough to do job, or maybe too low flow rate that weaken the print. :P Trust me, I designed and tested this for over two months. Use BambuLAB PETG Basic/HF. The only thing that might have ruined it during my testing was that the wipers were too long. Good luck and happy printing!
@@iczfirz I printed one again it always cracks at the 2nd hole every time I gently insert the ptfe tube and I made sure the ptfe tube was of the right size. Every time I insert a small bit of the ptfe tube in it cracks open instantly I think it’s maybe because the 2nd hole is on an angle but who am I to say about the strength. I’m also using the wiper lite and template model from maker world.
For reference. All 3 wipers have the same geometry except for the right tube holder changes. I really suspect your printer has flow issues or needs another PETG. Because I printed over 100 of this model via BambuLab PETG HF/Basic and BambuLab Matte/Basic on X1 and A1. They are all intact. I've never been broken near the second hole. The only weak part is the top flexible "L", which will break if the wiper tube is too long to click. Hope this help. :P
Just printed one of these. The bracket was slightly too tall, and collides with the tip of the nozzle between the two wipers. Not a huge deal, as I was able to trim it to clear. What is the purpose of the 4 longer pieces of PTFE? The nozzle cant even reach those.
❤ love it just need one for the Mini 😊
Is the native one from mini not good enough?

No worry. I did alot timelapse with it. Hardly get stray poops unless you give a bad filament setting such as temperature too low.

Shake the poops out whenever the nozzle hits the left wiper. And safeguard the top of the chute "flip plate" from getting poop hung up on it.
Very cool, but doesn't PTFE release dangerous gases when it melts?
Come on! We are not melting any PTFE in this mod. :P
