  • I do not like to use a tool belt. When I am at a job site find my self looking for my hammer every few minutes. Few years ago I screwed a tape measure clip to a wood hammer handle it worked prefect. And it keeps the hammer in the position you need to be in as you grab it while on the top of a ladder. In this video I mod a brand new 20 oz. steel Eswing with belt hook and a loop. The clip does not interfere with my grip! Please Comment, Subscribe, Like and Enjoy! • ✔ DiResta Hammers Nails

    11/28/23 your favorite hammer like what your dad had. This video had me using every tool I could with a belt clip. It also got me thinking about how a tool could be better. It also was the birth of trolls but I never saw any flaws only innovation. This video altered my perception of what a tool could be. A one of a kind piece.

    This is by far my favorite video you have! I love this one so much I watched it one time and it got me out of my 5 year funk. My dad worked at Estwing for 23 years before he died of a car crash. This video reminds me of him for some reason and it just makes me happy to see that there are people out there who are into working with their hands as much as he was.
    Thank you!

    I believe this is a perfect idea that every hummer should have with this kind of hook on it, and maybe a bigger loop on the end, so you could easily hang it on your tool belt.

    Hi Jimmy , I bought my very first Estwing in 1970 , my buddy had already bought his and welded a similar belt attachment as yours , to his hammer .
    He asked me at the time did I want my hammer doing like his .
    I said no . I wish I had said yes , as mine died recently , the rivets holding the base plate came off .
    My buddies hammer is still going strong as his was strengthened by the plate he welded on to his hammer .
    Great video by the way mate , liked and subscribed .

    Impractical, i did the same thing a long, long , long time ago...minus the loop.(the loop actually is practical , cause you can hang it on a Monster Hook attachment) You take away the room to hold the hammer properly, by putting the hook over the handle, it sucks, and gets in the way...Its cool...but impractical.

    • @paulcook7986
      @paulcook7986 5 лет назад

They can personalize their tools in any way that works for them and makes their lives easier... should they choose to get up off their third point of contact to actually do something worthwhile.

But this hammer... i have a question. when handled it (for hitting nails, prying etc.), the hook on the handle will not be uncomfortable to your hand? i mean, the handle is nice and sleed, and if you want to get a good grip on it, that hook will be in wour way.

    I think its cool that you can do this but I've found that having the head of the hammer....the weight, is more comfortable to carry high around waist level instead
    of dangling down and hitting me in the (1) thigh, with a regular 20oz or (2) hitting me knee cap while I walk with a 28 oz framing hammer. That being said, you can't choose a better one to work with than an Estwing!
