I read where the workers are paid very low wages and work very long hours. My reservation in using them.
I love this channel but Temu is YIKES. heard so many bad things about them and no way the products are ethical at those prices.

I refuse to support Temu. Why would you want to support a Chinese company who is essentially stealing your information when you make purchases? The workers are way underpaid, and not treated very well at all.
And in the USA it's anything different? lol...
I love grocery shopping. I don't and won't do delivery or pick-up. I like to pick my own produce and make sure it is exactly how i like it.

I ruptured my Achilles tendon last year and it rolled up the back of my leg so I have about a 10 or 11 inch scar from my bottom of my heel to the back of my legs. I used to like going to the grocery store too but I can’t right now. So I am using Grocery pick up but I don’t like them picking out my fruits and vegetables, I’m very picky about those. I sent my husband for those, but he is still working full-time and taking care of a lot of things at the house that I can’t at the moment. But everything else has been excellent and I’m thankful for it this time in my life. Enjoy your youth my friend.
I have seen so many ads for TEMU and they seemed to be unbelieveable prices. So glad to know it's not a scam. I won't be afraid to order now.
Laura, I am the same way about grocery shopping. We live out in the middle of nowhere and I go to church on Sundays. My kids are all grown and have families of their own, but I love going grocery shopping. I always see someone I know and catch up with them. I enjoy it. Also, another big reason I don't order groceries, many times things are on sale that you don't know about when you don't actually see on a web site picking your groceries out. The big main reason I do this however is because I have tried ordering on line and then just go pick up. Invariably, they are out and want to substitute with something I don't want and I am weird, but I don't want someone picking out my fresh produce. I want to look at it, smell it, and make sure it is fresh. You don't get that kind of attention when someone you don't even know is picking out your produce. In the summer, we grow most of our own produce but in the early spring, fall and winter, we don't have fresh produce except for our winter squash, onions, and potatoes that we have put up.

I have never used any of those services mainly because I have to pick out my own groceries,etc just a little OCD about picking out my own stuff also like to look around at different items in the store another great video may y'all have a blessed evening
We live in a semi-rural area with only a few grocery stores, none of which are very good. I do all of my own shopping to avoid getting rotten fruit, aged salad fixings, or similar.

I am 77 and still go to the grocery store I like to pick out my fresh veggies fruit and meat that's just me. Maybe some day I won't be able to do it but so far so good.

I’m like you, sometimes I go to the grocery store just for fun. Especially during the hot summer days. I can enjoy the store’s air conditioning. 😂
I understand the need for online shopping, it’s more convenient for large families and it saves time or other circumstances that prevent a person from going to the store; online shopping and delivery is an option. Maybe this is just me, I’m very picky about choosing my produce, I need to see it, check it and bag it up myself. 🤷♀️

i do do a bit of home delivery but i like to see peopel like you and alot of times they dont darte check they just get it of the shelf and thats it i look for the best date and freshness of fruit and veg salad

I like grocery shopping too. Im not an extrovert at all but i like picking out my own produce, dairy and meat. Plus, how will you know if there is a great sale on something that you can put in the freezer? I usually pop in my ear buds, grab my list, bags and see what I can find. I discover new things that way too. I dont always have time to slowly peruse the aisles but just enjoy the process.

I am like you are about going to the grocery store. We live in a very small town and I do my socializing at church, the local grocery store and Walmart. Call me weird but I dress nicely and make sure I look my best.

I’m with you, Laura. I love to go to the grocery store and chat! My sister and I actually meet every week, when possible, to shop together. We started during the lockdowns because it gave us another excuse to be together 😂. We just never stopped because we enjoy it.

Saw Some some super cute items I want to order from Temu but a little nervous after reviews . Did everything seem legit ?
I wanted to dive right in to temu but just can't get past thinking about the quality of the plastics and stuff they must use for everything to be so cheap. Plus the wages of the poor folks making these items for pennies on the dollar. I avoid online retailers from China and the like, at all cost.
I agree. In our home we have chosen to not purchase items from china or use retailers that are based in china. The items are cheap but I just can’t get past the Chinese ethics or lack there of.

99.999% of any product we purchase has some sort of "China" involved in its making. Levi's, Nike, etc. Just because something is labeled "Made in the USA" does not mean it was.
@@harley8680 I rarely buy anything new, first of all. And if I do, I just try to find organic cotton. Yes, sometimes it's made in China, but I source ethically made items if possible. And don't look for the cheapest items. We don't wear any synthetic fabrics at all in our day to day life, where we can avoid it. Obviously things like elastic, aren't ever going to be 100% cotton. But I try. I avoid plastic toys as much as possible. Look for wood, cotton. It's definitely possible to do better.
@@mamasherbalkitchen9045 you missed my point. Labeling system here in our country. Just because something says MADE IN THE USA doesn't mean it is. Levi's are a prime example. Perhaps you need to look seriously into the hypocrisy of what you are stating. Even your CAR has parts (if not all of it) that has been Made in China.

im in the uk and u have to watch temu you can put things in your basket and its one price and say few days larter always look again at your basket besausealot of times the prices go up u have to be realy careful as i was looking at the tumblers on line the prices were changin all the time and the look alike stanley drinking beekers u can get them cheaper
I am not an extrovert but, I use Grocery shopping as an excuse to get away from hyper kids that sometimes are fighting. I wait until my husband is home and leave. I did recently used the pick up method. Solely for the reason that I had 3 of my 4 kids with me and going intoThe grocery store would have been a nightmare!

As an Aussie I'm shocked how much plastic is involved in a grocery shop! So many plastic bags!!!
As an American who lives in a rural area without recycling it's super frustrating.
@amh2423 I think it's easy enough to obtain or make reusable bags, muslin produce bags, tote bags or the greatest invention I've ever used are trolley totes! They were a game changer!

I'm hoping she will realise...I can't understand how someone who doesn't allow chemicals, uses essential oils and natural products for cleaning and healing, eats responsible sourced meat an dairy, can possibly think, we won't notice when she completely changes her ethos...very disappointed ☹️
Sometimes it's about the sponsorship, so much sponsorship, between her and her sister it seems every video has a sponsor. I've unsubscribed from both channels, genuineness and transparency has gone out the farmhouse window!

@@glenelle24 There are some Korean creators who make top notch videos without much sponsorship and its more relaxing to watch them. No wonder these Asian creators have a few million subs and views. There is one channel called Country Life Vlog in Azerbaijan with awesome recipes, videography and great to watch. Its aesthetically pleasing too. These are some hillybilly's who got lucky by being on social media and know how to tweak the AI.
Love a good Temu shop and at least the ppl who process the goids are earning a wage instead if having no job at all and all china companies pay low wages,your basing the wages on our cost of living and wages we earn.. everything in china is cheap including the rents etc.
I think those who say i wouldn't ever buy from Temu or alike need to look around the home and the clothing that they have as atleast 50% if not more are made in China and processed by workers on low wage...if everyone stopped buying the goods then alot of ppl would be unemployed and in a real state.
