    Slow and Steady will win the race. Your work is a "Master Class" in perseverance and skill. Side question: I was wondering why Wolve and Buddy are kept separate? I know that my two dogs can't stand to be apart. Your garden is beautiful, your Mother must be very proud of it. In the Desert here in Arizona USA, it is hard to even get cactus to grow. - Mike

      Hi Mike! Wolf doesn't want Buddy and to prevent any injuries they have to be apart. Thank you very much for your kind words my friend!!!

    Bonjour John,

    john - the plating will be more accurate if you draw the waterline then draw another line below the waterline just a fraction less than the width of the plates- then place the plates up to the lower line just the way you have done- this will allow you to place a full plate final strake upon the hull that serves as a "cap" row which is the way it was done on real ships

      Thank you for the tip Ragin! I have done it almost like that. The hull has been completed since last week and she looks amazing!!!

    Good morning, John, I have a question about the rubbing streaks? Can you make them on your own because looks like there is something missing? After all the hard work that you are doing. It is a wonderful ship and it already looks amesing. Keep up the good work

    • @JohnsWoodenShips
      @JohnsWoodenShips  Год назад

      Hi Sam! It is very easy to make them but i chose not to because i will interfere with the rest of the pieces that i will have to place, like gun ports. With the paint on it's difficult to tell where the rubbing strakes are. Also if you take a look at the real Victory it is very hard to make them out from the rest of the hull.

    Me surge una pregunta. Porque has optado por poner tiras led en lugar de diodos?

    • @JohnsWoodenShips
      @JohnsWoodenShips  Год назад

      It because if i used LED and not strips, it would have been very difficult to do the wiring and i would have needed lots of wires. Eventually there are more things to go wrong in a closed up hull :)
