Ever since he got in contact with those speedrunners, Jirard's been at least one parallel universe ahead of the curve. Still nowhere near Pannenkoek2012's QPL (Quantum Power Level), or even that of Speedrunner Mario, but he's getting there.

seeing Davis taunt the guy, then he bursts upstairs, was one of the best SGS moments in quite awhile for me. I put these collection videos off, and now I'm so glad I can watch it all at once! And Collection 3 is probably gonna be on here soon
It just occured to me 20 minutes in that the Camera is probably so you can remember the wall passwords ect. Davis literally asking someone to take a picture when he has a legitmate in-game camera for that purpose is now in hindsight funny as hell. Partly because I would have done the same thing without question.
There's 1 combination in the entire thing, and it's skyrim dungeon level easy. I think it's more as a clunky light source in case you misplace the tripod
"Every fiber of my butthole". I never thought I'd find a term to describe my feelings for this game, but that did it wonderfully. I really wanted to love it, space archaeology, mysterious dead planets, first person puzzle solving, it should all be right up my alley. But the platforming and merciless enemy design just make it frustrating. It felt a little like someone took all my complaints about the second half of "The Story Of The Blanks" and based a game around them. Frustrating isn't scary. Familiarity, annoyance, and rage are all natural enemies of horror. Unfair deaths leading to having to constantly repeat the same sections can undo even the strongest atmosphere and tension. It was especially bad since my controller worked for moving but not jumping, so I had to use my keyboard which seems to be sticking, should really clean it. I saved this for last in the collection, so I ended on a bit of a sour note. Though the devs also did the Scythe series which I've heard good things about. Might do one of those tonight to see if I like it better. Also the music in this game is really good, anger and disappointment aside, I did really like the music.

Honestly I think it’s bc the punching walls in anger, finding the spouse fuckin the gardener, and losing custody of ur kid bc of a dangerous job is usually something that a man does in fiction. That plus the voiceover makes it easier to assume the names were a mistake.
I think it was the male voice was what threw them off. It does make one assume that its a guy at first glance. This is like the fourth game they played in a row too, so who knows how late it was when they played this.
While not a real scary game I would love to see you guys play "The Talos Principle". There are a few jump scares but watching you all solve the puzzles and try and figure out the plot would honestly make me watch all the videos several times.
I'd love to see them play some old school horror games.. like PS1 and old PC.. like D on PS1 and Shivers on PC.. I think with the puzzles of Shivers it'd be hilarious watching them try to get through it..

What should we do to scare the players? Jumping puzzles! Clunky controls! Getting stuck on terrain! One of the Starship Troopers movies thought darkness would be scary, and filmed most of the movie in real, barely penetrable darkness. It didn't work that well.

At the transition from menu to title card at 4:45, this is how I imagined their conversation in my head: *click, title card shows* Jesse: I recognize this! Everyone else: ??? Jesse: This is totally Ohio! Everyone else: *groans and laughs*
