Believe it or not his augment actually does both, if your weapon has heat on it and you imbue electricity with lavos, it will mic with heat and it will also have it's own damage, so your weapon will do radiation and electricity damage
I think one of the more unnoticed thing is not only does it have forced procs, it also forces that damage type so ive had fun modding things like toxic to just do straight health damage on low/non armored targets or Gas to create giant clouds of free DoT. The ammount of versatility in this augment offers so much for something like Deep Archmedia where you may choose to keep everything but your warframe for points to legendary reward. It can turn a mediocre weapon into something that can contribute.
Lavos has been one of my favorite frames so I look forward to playing this ☺️

This augment gives Lavos so many options for builds, Vermisplicer is nice with him, i subsumed Nourish on his 4, i know, crime but i heve always viral and corrosive, fire with Firewalker so i can mod weapons with other elements to boost CO, currently messing around mag procs with primary obstruct to jam their weapons every 10 seconds.
been a lavos main since he came out. i did find the issue with some imbuements on profit taker like if my weapon had corrosive on it and i needed toxin or lightining imbuing them only increased my corrosive maybe a bug? idk, so i tested a soma prime with only crit and base dmg mods no status types and i was able to do all elements from one gun with the augment on profit taker.
I think I have a few ideas for that new augment 😈
Also as someone who almost never uses PSF, it's so nice to hear someone else call it optional lol.
IIRC, the only time I used it was last Plauge Star on a hyper focused (ZERO defense) Volt build, and that was only until I got used to spelunking in the caves, at which point I swapped it out for Preparation. I guess after playing for a couple years without having it and getting used to void mode, I never felt like it was worth changing my builds? Might be nice for a really fast Titania so I might have to try it out 🤔
I'm not sure to use an Umbra forma with him right now, after Protea Prime i think he is next in line

My theories On profit taker. It count as ability damage. If profit taker valuable for heat and you imbued heat to your weapon it take no damage. But if you have heat as a single element on your weapon and then you imbued heat it will hit alot more dmg.
on base SP its higher dps to put corrosive on the weapon and proc viral
I should change primed continuity for archon continuity for apply corrosive with every use of skill 1
If you imbue with corrosion anyway, then it doesn't matter, but if you have mod capacity, then it probably wouldn't hurt.
I usually use huras kubrow, would you say the sunika still better ?
I won't be good in this vallence formation combo since you'll be using weapons hence breaking the invisibility.

I think valence does combine but its weird about it. if you have fire and apply electric you get radiation damage but electric procs. source of this is kengineer but not sure if this as changed since that video.
yeah it adds whatever element like a mod I think but has a separate guaranteed status proc of whatever element you choose

I definitely think it is. It's like forced to sound natural so it doesn't sound natural at all. Especially the pauses
