Lockett is the complete package. Elite player, loves the game, loves his team, right mentality, insight, awareness. He is our blessing! Go Hawks💙💚
You simply can’t hate him. He’s respectful to everyone he plays against, he destroys corners and says nothing after it’s done.
Let's go broncos, let's ride!
WELL SAID MALIA!
I got respect for the way Lockett plays.. doesnt take unnecessary damage and does his job week in week out.. get healthy Lock. Go Hawks
Nothing wrong going down to protect yourself but when has the ball in his hands with the game on the line & we need a first down him doing that Shìt pisses me off so much again I get it but SOMETIMES you gotta man up & take that hit
Lock is a stud. Him and Metcalf are the perfect combo.
MOTOCROSS: To finish first, ya first gotta finish
His daddy musta told him them couple yards ain’t worth it
@@neidhawk they are the lesser version of what Philly has
Tyler Lockett is one of the top receivers in the NFL. His presence changes the outcome of the game.
He was sure missed last week!
Yeah he converts 3rd downs at an insane rate
A couple of times every year, he makes a catch in the end zone and I say “no way he’s in”….. then they show the replay…
Facts 💯 percent
He is a little better version but slower than Scotty Miller.
Tyler Lockett is one of the realist dudes that ever lived. We love you, Tyler never change.
As a lifelong Hawks fan, seeing these legends cut it up and be real, I feel so blessed to be a fan of this team and of these guys in particular. The fact that they're so unsung and overlooked makes it even more special.
This sort of talk transcends sports; it's men speaking from the heart on maturity, leadership and humility. So good. 💪🏾
I love love LOVE your comment! 🙏🏈💙
You feel blessed being deceived by people that consider you cattle.
I'm from Seattle and Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett are diamonds in the rough!
I'm so glad they were and are underrated, only our gain!
We all know in seattle how truly amazing they are!

Amen!
They did the same thing to Steve largent also . It's just a Seattle thing . Those dudes are mountrushmore.
Don't forget about Jermaine Kearse! what he did on the field will always be remembered.
@@redalert206 Kearse was always clutch in the biggest games. I knew he would disappear the second he left
Kearse and tate were both amazing players for us as well
Seattle sees you, Tyler! You'll always be loved here. Shout out to Ricardo Lockette, too, No-E.
I knew it had to do with Ricardo, but I didn't know their last names were spelled differently.
I'm 30 years older than Tyler Lockett, but this guy is so much more astute about life than I can ever imagine myself being. Very refreshing interview to watch, and I'm always learning to better myself from other influences, like Lockett.
He published a book of POEMS a couple years back. Tyler the Renaissance Man!
That’s awesome! Most losers can’t admit this.
🥰
@@shelleymcculley Yeah I’m sure he wrote every word.
60+ years old you couldn’t imagine being as “astute” as a NFL player half your age. Plus people like that you have the self esteem of a teenager 😂
@@annagraham6204, you're awesome!! A little self deprecation on my end keeps me humble to appreciate, than hate, to accent positivity. Life is good and Happy New Year!! And I feel a lot younger than my age now! Thank you!!!
Dude is a gem. Man we are lucky to have teammates who had such commraderie. How the hell do we only have 1 SB. Hope this culture helps us rebuild our franchise.
Whispers* because Russell
@@jdiehl33 say it loud ita not a secret
Imagine if we started Matt Flynn instead of Wilson
We might have 2 or even more Superbowls
@A Fùcking Bird Pete is the reason we made it I'm pretty sure we can make it back
Overpaid QB was holding the team back
@@tillerphil4769 Come on now Tiller, that man did so much for our team/franchise/city. Broke every record. Matt Flynn, the forever-backup wouldn’t have lasted a season. Hush 🤫
We love you Tyler. So humble Richard Sherman we love you always keeping him real.
I remember watching a pre draft deal with Tyler and they asked him who was the corner that he wanted to go up against the most and he said Richard Sherman. He definitely got his wish every day at practice.
Tyler Lockett is such a great person. He's as genuine and humble today as he was in year 1. And you can really sense the appreciation he has for Sherm and all the players that he's played with in his years with the Seahawks.
I've loved watching Tyler play since day 1. He has skills on the field that alot of other players don't. He's humble and kind. Can't wait to see you back, Tyler.
Lockett is just a wholesome individual. Respect.
Just two dudes who love and care for each other having a great conversation. Regardless if you never make the probowl Tyler, you're an all star in the Pacific North West. 💯 🙏
Lockett has such a humble charisma about him. Love his storytelling and demeanor! Hope to see him in media when his stint in football is over (Hopefully not for a long time)
I give you all my 💜Tyler! You're the best and we missed you! Thanks for having him Sherman!❤️
Tyler Lockett is a consummate pro. Great work ethic, always prepared & always contributes in every way possible.
We aiight T-Lock we'll never forget you here in Seahawks country. We aiight that's what Doug Baldwin said after advancing to the SB. Everyone probably aside from Beastmode and the LOB are very under appreciated. Keep it up I love them toe drag swag catches. Your the OG now!
Tyler is a real person and will always do great things! He deserves everything he has. 💯🔥😎🤙
Great interview! I've always "seen" Tyler. The consistent awesomeness on the field never went unnoticed by me. Much respect and 💙💚 Let's get after it!
Just awesome the respect these two have for each other.
Hey Mr. Lockett, there are some quieter people who appreciate you very, very much! Keep on being great!
Tyler is indispensable to this team…whenever we need a play…he is money!!! Love watching this dude!!!
For sure, when it’s 3rd and 12 at a pivotal moment in the game, Geno is looking for Tyler and 99% of the time Tyler comes clutch.
He is a game changer. Always. Love Sherman too.
This was excellent! The life skills and wisdom shared between the two were PRICELESS! 💙💚
Two of my favorite Seahawk veterans. I’m excited for them in all they choose to do! I really enjoyed this interview 🤙🏽😎🙏🏽✌🏽
Lockett is the best version of what he does and what we need him to do. He has that shiftiness at full speed nobody else can match. His production has been consistently elite for the past 5 years.
Mr Clutch. Always there when you need him. Good people too.
Best interview Sherm has done yet. No E is the man.
As a Seahawks fan, I love seeing Lockett getting down and not taking the big hit. Because, he's out there ready for the next play. Save your body! You can only take so many hits in a career.
It's a joy to watch two good people who are experts explain their observations to the rest of us.
Outta Pocket like a Rocket it's Tyler Lockett!!! Go Seahawks!!!
Thx for bringing in Tyler Sherman ⚡️✊
I wish the players had time to read the chat in live press conferences so they could see how much love they have! Lockett is always the guy everyone gives the credit too; he is my favorite player and I have worn his jersey out I wear it so much! I was #1 Sherman fan when he was here and now, I am #1 Lockett fan! We always yell at the screen when they don't play Lockett, he is the most dependable/consistent player we have!! When Lockett is played, we win games!! All the fans know it!!! Go Hawks, love you both!!!
Hey man, born seahawks fan here.. I love Tyler lockett. I put him above many many receivers. Let's put it this way. Tyler lockett is sooo good he made Russell Wilson look as good as he did.
Vikings fan here ... Much respect for what I just heard!! Life long lessons in this video for all walks of life!! I'm a father of 5 and they are all grown up now! One of my greatest accomplishments of my life!! "Focus on the process and the results will come" EPIC!! Thanks for that! Bob
This was one of the best podcasts I have had the opportunity to watch! Both of the Hall of Famers brought so much insight to todays game, both on the field and in life! Huge respect to both these guys!!!
Respect to both of these guys not only for the level of play they have contributed to a team I love, but to sit down and be real on the level about being real men. I applaud you both for sharing this with us.
What a breath of fresh air. Stand up guys - all respect men.
Hey thank you for recording that, letting us hear that- It's a privilege. A good conversation too!
I enjoyed this so much from two Seahawk Legends! Great convo! Wishing you good health and happiness! Let's go get the next 2 and be in the playoffs!
Thank you for these podcasts Sherm they are so good! Tyler is underrated by some but he is not under appreciated by Seahawks fans as a player and a leader of the team. He is the ultimate pro!
Tyler just gets open and makes the QB's job easy like no one else can... The best!!
He’s always open and catches pretty much everything… a qbs dream
Wow! This was a heartfelt interview. Tyler got some motivational speaker in him, because I feel like conquering the world today!
I played middle school football and had classes with Tyler. Always been a great guy! Never been flashy or the fastest but always played the hardest and smartest.
Hawks Nation 💚💙💚💙 Tyler you're #1 love you guys 💯
Two GOATS! 🐐🐐💙💚
2 Seahawks Legends! Some people forget...... Some people never knew...... Our Seahawks were bad for Decades....
I'm grateful and appreciate what you guys have done for our organization.
"I'm the best corner in the game. When you try me with a sorry with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that is the result you are going to get." - Richard Sherman
Naw Yall stuff was hype fuel, due to Paul Allen the owner bought his way thru them games... Niners way better organization! But hey what do I know.
WOW , what an amazing episode! So entertaining and inspiring. I love all the good advice given here and will take it with me. Love all the Seahawk players. Go Hawks!
That was a great conversation in so many ways..luv'em both
My brother is a die hard Seahawks fan. We play madden and he always picks the Seahawks. Just like in real life, Lockett always open. Very underrated!!
Love, love, love you Tyler. You are indeed criminally underrated, and also you seem like a genuine and genuinely nice person. Love that you're on my team. 12s see you!
One of the great receivers ever!
I like Sherman still calling Tyler "No E" at 1:35 . Thats old school
Lockett bringing real talk. This is the real mindset of a pro nfl player. A vet.
Boy...we miss you Sherm. This 'intrusion' into your great friendship with Tyler was a privilege. Thanks to both of you...not just for your professionalism and heroics on the football field...but as terrific role models...even for an 80 yo+ fan like me. All the best to you both!
Man, this segment was one of my favorite all-time Podcasts!
He was so nice when I had the opportunity to meet him. A true gem!
We are thankful for you, Tyler! So glad to have this caliber man on our team. We have had great men like Wagner, Wright, and Baldwin... Glad to still have Tyler👍👍👍
Listening to these two rare humans reminds me of a saying I made up back in the day when I was in a corporate leadership role. "Any day that ends without you learning something new ... was 24 hours wasted." Listening to two full grown men, honestly share hard won life lessons, and humbly explain that the secret sauce is "falling in love with the process" was a great part of my day ... and I really appreciate it. Thank You !!!!!!!!!!!
This makes me happy.
Tyler is my all time favorite NFL player!
Mr. Lockett, you are an amazing player! I love watching you play. ❤
Mr. Sherman, I loved watching up play also. I had the opportunity to meet you way back down here in Tacoma. Both of you are Hall of Fame players no matter what say or don't say! Good luck moving forward 😊💚💙💚💙💚💙
This is one of the best interviews I have ever seen. Granted, they know each other so the familiarity makes it more conversational than let's say a reporter asking questions. But the ease with how they talked with each other giving real, thoughtful answers beyond the cliche, canned answers. Tyler seems to have his Ego balanced, rare to see in an elite level athlete, but will serve him well in remaining years in the NFL and even more when he leaves the NFL.
Bro, my face fkin hurting from smiling through this long ass 40 min interview. History here. Good vibes. Two of the best, dudes.🤘
Doug, Richard, Tyler, KJ, Marshawn, and Bobby, all belong in the Ring Of Honor.
Agreed! And don’t forget kam ;)
@@desipardo1646 Fa show. Kam definitely getting a spot.
This is the one I've been waiting for!
Tyler has been my favorite to watch on the field for as long as I can remember now. Def a pro bowler!
This was more than I expected. Good people first and foremost and good men and great citizens. The parenting advice is everything.
Made my heart full listening to both Sherm & Tyler! So much respect and admiration for both of you! Sherm, would you please do another Softball tournament and bring back some of our team? You all were one of a kind and I'm SO glad to be a 12! Tyler, you are the most genuine person I have ever listened to and SMART!!! Good luck with the injury and only play this week if you are 100% sure you'll be okay and not do further damage. You took a picture a few years ago with my daughter in Spokane, that was awesome... and Sherm, the same daughter, you were her favorite... She even partied with your mom a bit down in San Diego! Thank you for a wonderful interview guys, it was awesome!! Happy New Year!
I'll acknowledge it!! Your a excellent receiver. I'm amazed every game you get the ball you know where you are and where you need to be. Excellent hand and foot work!!
Nothing but love Lock!!!!! Nothing but LOVE..... You are awesome!!!!!
Love you guys! Two of the greatest Hawks and Seattle reps of all time - & I've been a Hawks fan since the beginning...
Lock and sherm the duo we needed on a podcast. Such smart minds
Sometimes sports podcasts are too SPORTY for lack of a better term. Too insider. This was a CONVERSATION. Real. Damn, that was a good listen and a great human interaction. THANKS!!
Sherman's podcast is so good I save his videos to listen to on drives cause i know ill be entertained
What an awesome episode! 2 of my all time favorites!!
Wow bro I consider myself a HUGE football fan but I had never thought about the point about Geno’s mentality all those years preparing as if he was a starting QB to get no game snaps. That is absolutely wild I am so glad he said that because I had never even considered that.
I can’t imagine how frustrating that is for Geno. To see his success this season has been refreshing as a big Geno Smith fan
Edit: I just finished the part where Sherm talks about post-football and how he has become obsessed with being the best dad and I just wanna commend him for talking about this.
Not sure if everyone remembers the video that was circulating of Sherm clearly in a bad state of mind trying to get into his baby momma’s parents from 2021 which broke my heart to see circulate the internet. Because it was so clear this was out of character for Sherm. Seeing people mock him for something that was so serious broke my heart and I just wanted to point out how far he has come to prove that video people were showing on the news is not Richard Sherman’s true character and I just love to see his growth to get out of that bad mind state as he adapted to developing a new daily routine away from football centered around his children
Tyler Lockett is a quality dude and a great player.
Tyler is a great addition, definitely could have a voice and presence talking football and life after he retires.
I could watch these two interview every week.
Tyler is my all-time favorite Seahawk.
Kam Chancellor for me, but Tyler is for sure the second favorite for me.
@@thizlam4810 not a bad choice at all
Absolutely love this! Love all around. Appreciate you Sherm for bringing Tyler to light - like a great speaker would. And you are. So you should 💪😎
Lockett is a savage with Whoever is at QB. Good character too
What a great interview! Lockett is first-team All-Pro every year in my heart. He was Russell's security blanket for years, and now he's Geno's "I need a play" go-to receiver. Was so obvious vs. KC how much Geno and the Hawks missed Tyler. Love how Sherm drew him out, great interview, helped us see Tyler the person, the man, and how his heart and his character lead to his greatness on the field!
If it wasn't for Richard Sherman and the legion of boom and Marshawn brought so much swagger and respect to the town and the team and as a true Seahawk fan I really appreciate it
Beautiful conversation. Thanks for sharing, guys.
Great episode! Loved hearing both of you guys’ wisdom. Keep it up!
Being from Seattle, these are two of my favorite dudes right here. Such amazing ambassadors of sports and life. I love sherm talking about his kids at the end and the joy of seeing your kids succeed and learn. So many good lessons on this one I'll be rewatching this later with my 11 yo son who is a monster fan of both of you too! Great podcast!
Born and Raised N' Seattle...I'm really glad to have had the LOB, Tyler, Dk and all you Cats!!!
❤ love this class act of a man. My eyes look for him on that field. So enjoyable. Seattle loves and respects this man.
Great interview! I really appreciate hearing you discuss the differences between the collegiate attitude v the professional outlook, and then how to blend the two.
Great interview! Mad respect for Tyler. He is a class act all the way.
Tyler Locket is amazing on the field and off
Fan since 1978, locket is top 10 his toe tap game #1. He is the man ,and I never wanted to trade you..thank you for the years you gave us.
Tyler always being real! My favorite Seahawk next to Doug!
Dope seeing you guys hitting on all these topics.. so much wisdom and drive and motivation to be great period
Loved this interview. Great job Richard and Tyler you are amazing.
Richard! Awesome interviews! You are making a name for yourself in the hosting space!
What an incredible interview. Tyler is such an insightful dude. “Progression over perfection” is going to be motto for 2023. I would love to see Sherm on the sidelines coaching. His personal story is remarkable and should never be forgotten. Great job fellas!
Two of my favorite Seahawks of all time! Love y’all!
