Your Plein air techniques and style along with the aura that you create around each episode turns an ordinary overcast day into a bright sunny day with or without the sun. THANK YOU Richard for your efforts to bring the love of your work and love of nature to homes around the world This planet needs more people like you. I'm not an artist because I can't paint to save my life, but I am an amateur freelance wild photographer and I find inspiration in your work. Again and again. Thank you. TJ 🤠
Richard, you never cease to amaze, impress, and inspire me. I continue to learn to see colors and the world around me in ways I hadn’t before when watching your videos. Everything you do, from your truck set up, camping, gardens, etc, to painting is captivating. Thank you again for sharing with us. Cheers!
The one accent that makes this painting is the reflection in the water off the tree. Brilliant. Captures that fleeting moment where you saw it. We’ll done.
Great series of paintings, man you work really hard, and I enjoyed watching your camping and cooking. good to see you eat well when out on safari. Thanks again Bill
Hello Richard, wow you made some great paintings during your stay near the river! I especially love those made in the rising sun. They seem so easy to make: a few strokes of the palette knife here and there, dark colors then light ones, a few blends directly on the canvas and voila! of course, it's not that simple and that's the proof of your great talent. Thank you for the beautiful images you shared, the golden lights at the end of the day, the purplish ones at night or even the dewy ones at dawn with the belt of Venus... Magnificent painting also for which you had to struggle with the appearances and disappearances of the sun. What more can I say, congratulations Richard!
Your work is so exciting to me. Your videos are breathtaking. When I see the colors of the day then I see and hear you create the colors that’s I just saw in your video I’m trying those color combinations. I couldn’t see the colors of the day until you arrived in my life. I’m so mesmerized with you.
Lovely, lovely paintings! I feel like I just went along on your trip enjoying the quiet beauty of the landscape and at the same time had a great lesson in knife work, next best thing to being there!
Dear Richard, you are a lucky man and I am so happy you share all this wonderful nature and painting moments with us! Soooo beautiful! Love to be with you! All blessings!
Hello Richard, what a magnificent landscape, like how you capture the lights of the environment. Those paintings are pure gold, you hace a unique palette. Congratulations!!!
Great demonstration of your technique and 'seeing'. Great to go back over how to capture the ethereal light of early morning, late afternoon. As always, love your emotions on canvas mate. Cheers, Rich
Loved this one. Got to admit, your palette knifing has inspired me to do some of my own. Did a little wave and a still life yesterday and today: good fun! And something different to my usual brush work... this remained way more loose. Nice. Love how your marks melt into a painting when stepping back sufficiently!
👋Hi Richard, your skills as an impressionist artist are outstanding! Even American painter David Jansen praised them in one of his recent videos and warmly suggested watching your videos. These new works of art are simply stunning, vibrant colours, gorgeous subject matter and on top of that there are little scenes from your life as a plein air artist in one of Australia's stunning landscapes. I liked all of them, the smaller ones painted early in the morning as well as the big one at the end of the video. Wonderful, fantastic stuff as you sometimes say, and full of beauty. Thank you very much, have a good time and a nice week.💖
Hi Richard, a new subscriber here from the uk..just love watching you do these wonderful paintings..im desperately trying to achieve your style..one day i might master it!..thank you for making these entertaining videos, i am learning lots from them. Have a great day 😊
Brilliant Richard! Love the first light effects! I don’t use a pallet knife much with exception of some sharp edge work. I plan to get a plein air session in where I just take the knives and see what I can do to pull out my inner Richard lol Cheers Brutha!
Just wanna say hi from Germany and you’re an super awesome, extreme fast and precise oil painter! I like how you capture colors, outstanding!🙌🏼🌞🐝💨💨 keep it up!!
Hello Richard a great video always nice to watch and now a big compliment to you that you always answer is unfortunately very rare on RUclips best wishes to Andrea and Günter
In California we have amazing trees, also gums, palms, cypress and pepper to name a few. Scenes along the coast show ocean or just slough can be beautiful subjects. Thank you for this video!
Thanks Richard. Great to see you out and about. I might have missed it, but what brand of oil paint are you using? I have just started painting with a knife, and suddenly the paint's texture from the tube is important. (If one doesn't use medium to make it right.) I'll check your older videos to see if you have done a 'how to'.
Hats off to you for camping on location in Australia. I travelled there for a couple of years and got lucky with only a couple of spider incidents. Not sure I'd be brave enough to actively camp in the bush too regularly. Everything wants to kill you there
Hey, we don't have bears or tigers!! Nothing wants to kill us. The snakes and spiders are just looking after themselves and don't come looking for a fight. They hide and run away if they can. But flies and mozzies are a thing, sometimes.
Dear wonderful Richard, You are unique in every way and what a joy to see that these days. After watching your ourback painting adventures and the fantastic scenery from your ever magical camera lens and your eye.. I feel that I have been on the same trips. I get enthused and get to feel good knowing great guys like yourself still exist. All the best mate and ‘happy painting’. 🚜 🚜 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. 👍👍👍🫖👍👍👍. Hows that guitar 😁
I can almost smell that campfire. thanks for taking all of us with you. I like being out and about with you. And of course I love your paintings.
Many thanks Dyana!!!
Alright, yes yes about your painting but darn, has no one else appreciated your set up and that dang box!!!!?!
