United States here, the state of New Jersey. I've been meaning to comment on all of your videos. I love your work I think you are one of the most unique plein air artist that I have ever laid eyes on. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Your peace and tranquility for nature, and love of nature fascinates me and it reflects in your work. With the grace of God please don't ever stop making videos. I could watch you paint with knives for hours and hours. My name is TJ,, your lifelong Everlasting fan
Ричард, добрый день! День действительно замечательный, если смотрю Ваш новый ролик. Спасибо за хорошее настроение и красивые картины! Вы один из любимых мной художников.
I just realized something, by just using a pallet knife, you accomplish 2 things, you reduce the number of brushes the average artist might use, AND, by using a knife, you stay clear of cleaning solutions which can prove dangerous to one's health, and you eliminate brush cleaning time, genius. Excellant painting!
👋Hi Richard, great to see you out and about again painting another beautiful piece of art, as always with skillfully mixed colors. I love these large paintings showing those interestingly shaped eucalyptus trees, greenish water, bright blue sky and the sandy soils along the water bodies. They radiate something I can't name more specifically, returning the energy you've locked into them with the very last "brushstroke", but without ever diminishing it. Great and beautiful as always, Richard, thank you. Take good care of yourself.👍❤
Thank you Richard for another opportunity to enjoy watching your work! You are the best of all plein air artists and your paintings always turn out to be charmingly beautiful. I consider you Richard my virtual mentor. Once I was able to paint with palette knives, in your technique, one very large picture and I am very pleased with this work. I dream of someday even visiting Australia and under your guidance in the open air to paint the same wonderful landscapes with your mighty eucalyptus trees. To realize this dream, I have to master English well, which I continue to work on. Stay healthy, take care of yourself and continue to please your fans!
Hello Richard. What a pleasure to meet you on the pitch during this beautiful calm and sunny day! Moreover, in this beautiful landscape with these trees whose tormented life we feel but which remain solid and anchored despite everything. Your painting reflects these characteristics well. The colors are perfectly chosen and the reflections in the water beautifully rendered. Another superb painting, congratulations Richard.
Hi Richard! I can't thank you enough for sharing your work! It must take a lot of effort to put these videos together but it is so appreciated! You have (yet again) managed to produce a lovely combination of beauty, tranquility and excitement both in the video and your painting. Absolutely fascinating and inspiring!
You are amazing, said it before that your ability with the palette knife is incredible….to be able to be so abstract then stand back and the scene is amazingly realistic ! NOT easy to do. Love you outback videos Richard. Thanks 👍🇨🇦
G'day RICHARD, Thanks FOR SHARING ANOTHER BRILLIANTLY EXECUTED PAINTING EXPERIENCE FROM THE AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK. THE SCENERY IS AMAZING AND THE PHOTOGRAPHY TOO. ❤❤❤❤
Hello Richard you can see how wonderful our earth is and that a great artist like you skilfully conjures it up on a canvas - simply beautiful Best regards Andrea and Günter
Hey mate, another inspirational creation showing your genuine connection with the outback. Once again you bring these trees to life on the canvas. Love the deep blue shadows complimenting the reflections in the river. I feel a calmness and a peacefulness watching you paint Richard, it removes me from my ordinary, urban home into a world of beauty and nature, the sound of knife on canvas etching out a mantra of sound and sight. Cheers, Rich
Loving your process and talking us through it. I use brushes and I am struggling with getting my work to loosen up. Working inside off photos as we are having a really wet winter down in TAS…Loving the use of ultra marine "….Brilliant painting and lesson…Thank you
And it's a good thing you painted quickly at first, to get your colors, shapes and values in, because, man, not even half way through the video, the colors in the scene you were looking at got all washed out! Good call. It all came back, somewhat, later on in the video. Good thing! Such interesting trees, those Gum trees.....thanks for another great video!
I look forward to your videos Richard especially your "walk about" ones. I love watching you work and you have been a great inspiration to me as I develop my skills. All the best!
Oh my the creative process is very moving. This is so exciting for me thank you for sharing your talent. That tree is so mysterious, do you have a guesstimate of its age. The whole of my life I have attempted to paint trees. The water shadows on the tree are so amazing, nothing in Canada equals the mysterious gum tree. Master at work a rare treat.
@@richardmusgrave-evans Richard, your best viewing of process is when the camera is dead on the painting closer up. Your interspersed shots can bring in the subject view and the surroundings, as you do so well.

Dear Richard, love your work very much. You are most generous showing your technique and naming colours. Could you kindly le me know where I can get stretched linen canvas. I cannot find a place. I'm also here in Australia, actually at the Top End. Thanks so much.

Well, I guess you wouldn’t recommend that Gumtree in particular to beginners? 😂 Ha ha. Beautiful subject and colors in the tree . Enjoying your work. !
