All credit to the family (who supported Janis from the very beginning) and for creating the opportunity for Janis to thrive and grow. Everyone involved in this for Janis. Well done. For Janis, congratulations.. your work ethic, your enthusiasm etc is such a mark of your wonderful character. Simon for the plastering skills and teaching of work ethic. Billy for the opportunity, u tube for the audience to showcase belief in people. A success. 🎉

My son, who has speech difficulties and doesn’t often say words clearly, just pointed to the guys and said "Yannis" and "Rick". 😂 Much love from your 3-year-old fan!
How sweet is that! Yannis has won many hearts and Rick has been a sweetheart for a long time. It’s great that the young ones are watching such a great team ❤😊
I love Rick as a presenter. He's completely relaxed in front of the camera, has a fab voice and explains things really well. Billy you are great at it too.
I am a retired architectural drafts-woman. (LOL) and I am absolutely fascinated by the work you and the guys are doing. I love your vision for the library and I know it will be as fabulous as the kitchen is. Billy thank you so much for allowing your videos to take us along each day. I know you work hard and long hours just so we can follow. Please give the guys a big HOWDY from this Texas Nini. ❤
While I'm waiting for the 1st ad to be over, I get out my phone, open the calculator app and get the unit convertor up. Thank you, Billy, for stopping trying to convert for us. Use the terms that you use. Everyone that can watch this has access to a unit conversion. Hopefully in another year or so I'll have the metric system down. Love that kettle.
Metric system is all based on water . A litre of water weighs a kilogramme, a litre of water laid in a line 1cm wide is a metre. Water boils al 100 deg centigrade and freezes at 0 degrees. A few quick rhymes we learnt at school 50 years ago when it came in to the uk . 2 and a quarter pounds of jam weigh around a kilogramme. A litre of water 's a pint and three quarters A metre measures three foot three . Its longer than a yard you see . I still use them now 🤗 big hello from Northern Ireland.
What a relief to see how smoothly you moved that giant beam! I wasn't sure I was going to be able to watch. You men made it look so easy. Excellent job!
🇨🇦👋 I was raised with dressers - wood on wood drawers, and once a year we would run a bar of soap on the bottom runners of the drawers so that they would glide smoother. Wondering if that would help with your drawers in the kitchen.
How exciting! You guys are amazing and work together so well. Awesome job moving that huge beam!!! Great to see the beautiful kitchen being used again. Well deserved cup of tea 😊
Ohh, that cup of tea looks great. I'm just now getting my first cuppa coffee. Have a wonderful week guys. Be safe and look forward to your progress tomorrow.
I love the comradery you all have! Well done on moving the one beam over. It is very interesting to see this all done and I am glad you are using what is already there. When you were describing how this stage was going to go I got the impression you were going to install new beams to frame the open floor. I don't know what you're planning for the old wood beams but I would like to see you incorporate them somehow. Maybe using them for the balustrades? I hate the thought of you just trashing them. I know I don't have the view of being there personally and seeing their condition up close but maybe you could get the outside trimmed off and use the wood for the balustrades.
Todays job accomplished. With everyone being rewarded with a nice cup of tea. I have to say though that Rick & Yanis did better moving those support thingys. Rick did right in counting to 3,and then the two moved in unison. Where as when Billy was down there, they were not in sync. It got done though. How exciting seeing it coming together now. 🤗
Also the floor going on the beams will never be like it was it will be tons lighter so no problem for those beams. Another day of hard work with great results. :)
Fancy making us watch the kettle boil 😆. The logistics of this part of the renovation boggle my mind. Billy, you are an envisionary genius with an amazing can-do mind set. Most impressed & SO looking forward to seeing this all progress.
Billy the builder - we can do it, yes we can....what an awesome team...i am watching from New Zealand and look forward to a new video release....Go the A team xox
Well I found myself grinning from ear to ear when you amazing people finally had a cuppa in the kitchen. A well deserved inaugural brew after a massive step forward in the library. I'm snuggled in bed with hot water bottles in a tiny rural village in New Zealand and watching your incredible adventure is my treat at the end of a freezing stormy day. All power to you. 👍 Thanks for sharing.
It’s great you were able to reuse the old RSJ’s. I’m sure that’s some big money saved. I just love watching your convent building being re purposed in such a grand way. Your worker men a fabulous also. I love how Yannis says crack on. When are we going to get to see the R2D2 coffee machine put into service ?
I was holding my breath and praying, the lifts held. Did i doubt the plan, no, though anything can go wrong. What a great accomplishment. Enjoy your tea, a beer would be better, but tea it is.
The side of your teapot says Kitchenaid in St. Joseph, Mi. U.S 😁 that's where I live!! We have been subbed and enjoying your video's for a long time! We feel like we know you all and always look forward to new video's. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇨🇵
We can get Barry’s tea in Canada at our local British import store, I will have to try it one day. Epic episode watching you maneuver that beam. Crack on ! 🙏❤️🇨🇦
It’s so hard to not absolutely love Yanis, he is so hard-working and just so sweet. I think you’re lucky to have him on board.
Yes, he is so engaged at work.
He worth a million!
Why would anybody resist loving that boy?
Not forgetting Rick too both have great work ethics

I they all make a great team with Billy being a great Team Leader and organiser 🎉🎉🎉
The room lights up when Rick smiles! He has a devilish sense of humor, too. Yannis is a sweetheart .. You all are a hard-working crew.
It’s a joy to have Rick back and see his smile! Yannis is a working machine! Renovation super heroes
Irish tea made in a Michigan USA tea pot shared in a restored French convent kitchen by two Englishmen and a Frenchman. Nice. ☕️
I do believe Yanis is Algerian. :)
An Algerian Frenchman? 😊. (Not questioning that that could be true, just suggesting that addition to the OP’s comment.)
@@julieobrien4056While French is not an official language of the former French colony, it is taught in Algerian elementary schools starting around age nine and is spoken by a third of Algerians.
Maybe we could ask Billy if he could clarify that for us, just watching we all feel part of this wonderful family
@suewhipp6228 Billy's sister Sadie mentioned where Yannis was born on her channel "Sadie in France". Apparently, Billy met Yannis because is Sadie.
If Rick could package his smile and sell it, he would be fabulously wealthy. It brightens up even the darkest room!
He should be in the movies! At the very least in commercials. I would buy what he is selling no doubt about it 😉

That is fabulous and I bet music to your ears xx
❤
Yanis is a keeper. I just love him.
Me, too! He's such a hard worker and has a gentle personality.
I was holding my breath watching y'all move that beam. Thank you Billy for letting us be a part of this build. Y'all are doing a great job! ❤
Me too, just realised I was doing it lol
That is an absolutely huge beam. Billy you look so tiny beside it. Safety first indeed with a monster beam like that.
Was I the only one to hold their breath as they moved that beam??? Great team work! ❤
Rick has a beautiful smile as well.He reminds me so much of my dad when he was young. His smile lights up a room.
Now just a wee place to sit and drink your tea whilst admiring the stunning kitchen!
...and admiring the light streaming through those gorgeous windows onto the amazing chandelier. Ahhhh....
That is progress, a cup of tea in the kitchen.
Yianis just captures your heart. He works like a machine, with gratitude to the opportunity he was given. Great team all around.
Glad to see Yanis and Rick with safety gear on. So important. Great job everyone!
Amazing what a man with a dream can accomplish!
I love Rick as a presenter. He's completely relaxed in front of the camera, has a fab voice and explains things really well. Billy you are great at it too.
Barry's tea, all the way from Cork in Ireland. Best tea in the world is right Billy.

I'm still in awe of the transformation of the beautiful kitchen.
To be honest, I held my breath while you moved that beam!!! That equipment you bought seems amazing. Nice to see you sharing a cuppa!
Extremely impressed with the teamwork, organisation and safety aspects.

@@daved8551 thanks dave. I'm a mine of useless info like that . Handy in a quiz though 😁
we want to thank Barry's TEA for their participation.
It's great to see the kitchen being used. Great work all around, fellas. 😊🏴
So glad to hear Billy say safety first. You all stay safe.
Very few people on the planet would have had the vision to imagine this project, let alone complete it. (Hard)hats off to Billy!
What a relief to see how smoothly you moved that giant beam! I wasn't sure I was going to be able to watch. You men made it look so easy. Excellent job!
Wow! That’s really impressive work! Well done Pethericks Team!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼♥️♥️♥️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
It seems easier than you thought it would because you planned and prepped so thoroughly. You guys are Rock Stars!
I held my breath until I thought it’s not going to go badly those three have this. Nice that tea was made in the kitchen 😂
🇨🇦👋 I was raised with dressers - wood on wood drawers, and once a year we would run a bar of soap on the bottom runners of the drawers so that they would glide smoother. Wondering if that would help with your drawers in the kitchen.
My Mother used the bottom of a candle…..Unlit of course……on drawer runners
We used candle wax. Rubbed old candles on the bottoms of the drawers. Soap works well, too. Hi from Alberta 🇨🇦
So glad you are trying to keep safe Billy. It isn't rocket science but it is a huge job. So much fun to watch. Wish you and the team the best!
First cup of tea in the kitchen! I thought oh Ryan will be jealous......what the heck....I'm jealous.
How exciting! You guys are amazing and work together so well. Awesome job moving that huge beam!!! Great to see the beautiful kitchen being used again. Well deserved cup of tea 😊

When is the champagne coming , when the library is finished with a big party.🍾🍾🍾🍾. Well done for the nail biting maneuver 😘😘😘 today.❤️
Wow, that was some serious work. The lifts made it look easy but imagine the intence work that went onto putting it up the first time. ❤🐨

I'm so glad you said: "We've had the safety prep". Those words are literally music to my ears.
Very impressive guys!
Our lovely lady has had major surgery. My grandfather said he felt 19 again after his recovery from triple bypass. Crack On team.

Also the floor going on the beams will never be like it was it will be tons lighter so no problem for those beams. Another day of hard work with great results. :)
Someone needs to make biscuits to go with that tea!
I was alittle hesitant when you starting moving that big steel beam; but it work out. The work keeps going, progress is happening.
Fantastic teamwork!!!
That would cost a lot of money had you hired that out!
I love the smiles
In the States it would have been a shot and a beer. LOL! Great job, I held my breath the whole time.

I always comfort myself with - as long as there is a video up, nothing has gone seriously wrong 😂
That went well team Billy ❤
Too bad there wasn't a small table and chairs for Rick, Billy and Yanis to sit and relax with their tea. Soon perhaps.........

Amazing work, y'all! Now you just need a place to sit and enjoy your cuppa!
