    Great video. Nice collection of genuine agility drills rather than the stock standard change of direction skills. Thanks!

    Hi coach!
    I have just changed team, everything is great both on ice and off ice tranings. But guys are not working that hard, i think they are a bit lazy on the ice. Do u think I can somehow make or motivate them work harder and skate more?

      Absolutely you can -- I find motivation for an entire team is best executed during the warm up. You should have the team all do the same warm up at the same time and talk to them about the practice and/or game in a motivating way so it acts as a bridge both mentally and physically between real life and hockey performance.

      Didn't you ever see Rocky IV? Rocky singlle-handedley won the Cold War by training in the snow.

    What distances are you using for the T-Test and Horizontal Sprints?

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  5 лет назад +2

      10yds to the first cone, and then 5yds distance from the first cone to the two shuffle ones.

    Would ice baths or epsom salt baths be good during a tournament?

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  5 лет назад

      Yup -- in the case of a high-profile tournament, ice baths would be preferred.
