East of Eden is a supergroup. Band founder and leader is Ayasa the violin player, she plays in a band Morfonica, Yuki the guitar player is from band D_Drive, singer Akane is from bands Predia and Mochi to Cheese (which also had Kanami & Akane of Band-Maid), the bass player Wakazaemon played with Marty Friedman and the drummer Mizuki plays in Lonesome Blue.
Wakazaemon is a great bass player and does a lot of session work (some with Murata Tamu from Nemophila) plus playing in various bands like Marty Friedman on his US tour. Hope this super group stays together as she deserves to have success. They played their first concert a few weeks ago and it had sold out a month before. This is a great song.
Great reaction. Fell in love with this song and band immediately i heard the song. Waiting for more music by them. This song was written by Mao, who also writes for LoveBites. Great musicians. Love it ❤️ Thanks for this reaction.
I love that theres elements of power metal, folk, symphonic in there. My favorite part is the violin. To use it a strictly symphonic way is expected, but theres both modern elements and traditional ones. Everything about this us fresh, original, and very well done. Just like the reaction!
The other group that does guitar-violin duels at this level is Unlucky Morpheus. If you haven't see their all-instrumental project Quadratum, it is not to be missed. There are several of their videos currently up on YT.
Hello again!! JUST before you said, "They've already got me," I had JUST said to myself... "I'm all in." Seriously. The opening strings were like a steel trap... GOTCHA!! I had to pause to say that. Now onward... Time to exhale... Holy SH*&&!!! That was just amazing. The instrumentals (particularly the metal-rock fiddle/violin), the vocals the set, the lighting... just WOW!! Taurie, you did it again! You lured me into a group/band I had never heard of... and dropped my jaw. You're the best! You are correct... your physical/facial expressions did the talking. Great reaction!! One of your best (and that's saying something!)
It's like taking the best parts of Lovebites, Band-Maid and Unlucky Morpheus and forging them together. I hope to see a Lovebites World Tour with EoE as support. Welcome to your first Edengasm! 🤘💜🔥
Hi Tauri well EOfE prove if your language is not Japanese you can enjoy the movement of the song, with the violin and guitar being the musical ' thread,' going sll the way through the song

Pretty sure the bass player also came from Maximum the Hormone Cottelee band. Check Koi No Megaraba MV they did.
@@christopherjohnferrer3771 she also played with Daisuke Kurosawa covering X Japan.

It took about two listens for this to become a big Song of the Year contender for me.
The first word that came to mind when I first heard them was gobsmacked!
Yeah and it is damned good! love them!
If i remeber it right they drop an Album on 5. December
Iconic women. Brilliant.

I’m with you violins and metal…… liked the musical side not so much the vocals, only probably because I’m an ignorant westerner. ❤️🤘🎸🎻🦘
She sings in English as well as Japanese in the song. 🤦
