IF THE BATTERY IS IN BUILT PRESS THE POWER BUTTON FOR 10 SECONDS SO IT WOULD BE DISCHARGE.
TOOLS YOU NEED
1) SCREWDRIVER WITH GOOD MAGNET
2) OPENER
3) TWEZEER
4) BRUSH
5) THERMAL PASTE

I have a Dell G3 15 3500. I have never cleaned it internally, put thermal paste or anything. What more should I do?
Only cleaning fan and full laptop and change Thermal paste and if thermal pad is damaged then you can change thermal pad also
I am giving my laptop tomorrow to our family service person for cleaning the inner parts, fans and applying thermal paste. Please suggest what else I109 should ask for?
If he can clean the keyboard buttons with brush it would be best and while applying new thermal paste clean the old thermal paste properly if thermal pads are needed change it.

Open and clean both the left-side and right-side fans thoroughly.

During the application of new thermal paste, ensure proper removal of the old paste. If necessary, replace thermal pads.

Apply thermal paste liberally on the CPU and GPU. I recommend conducting research for the appropriate amount; however, as a reference, the RUclips tutorial suggests five dots, whereas I believe nine dots might be suitable.
