Thanks KHMER Laptop Repair, really useful video. I used epoxy to glue everything together. Test you hinges before you put everything back together to make sure there are no too loose.
Thanks for the tutorial. I had the same issue, but I loose the nuts for thebhinges too much and the screen wasn’t stable. I had to do it all over again lol. Thanks. 👍🏽
@@Zyoto_rblx actually I fixed mine myself, also for the 3rd time, when I opened it up I noticed that the hinges were very hard to move, which might be the reason for the issue, i lubricated them and lowered their settings (like he did in the video) until I felt it was enough and closed it up, its working perfectly for now but u know we need 2 - 3 months for a final verdict, I hope this helps.
For the racist and shallow among us who thinks as long as someone isn't speaking your "advanced" language, they must be inferior. Did you learn something? I did. By watching and using my God's given sense to follow what you are doing as it makes sense. Hence, thanks.
Thanks a lot for this video. I followed the guidelines and I finally fixed the unreliable hinge. I also think that I will join the computer repair career too… Lol
I had the same problem in my laptop. Hinge problem was solved but now it's not turning on. When I connect charger, then charger is going to off. What should I do? Please help
Unless you are replacing the screen there is no need to take the whole thing apart like he does in the video, he is making this far more complicated then it need to be. Simply remove the bezel (carefully) and you will get access to where the plastic, that holds the hinges and the screws, breaks. Remove broken screws completely and use some epoxy on in their place for a stronger fix, use a little tape to flatten the epoxy after you have applied to all the holes/top of hinge bracket (be careful not to cover the clasps the bezel holds on to. With an added bonus that epoxy will withstand 288C temps so the fix will last a lot longer than standard glue on some cotton wool.
@@mafa314 no I am afraid not, I wish I had thought of it when I was repairing mine. Unfortunately I was winging it at the time and exploring how it was built when I came up with this way of fixing the issue.
I did those steps and my laptop stopped charging any help ? when i plugged in the charger onto the laptop the battery worked backwards, note that i didnt put the charger in the wall and the charger started glowing , any help ?
Just an update, I'm gonna throw this laptop in the trash pretty soon, it just keeps on breaking at the same freaking spot for no reason, no solution lasted more than 18 months, and I have to fix it over and over, and fking over, the trash is where this goes, along with DELL btw
i did the repair and the hinge is working. but now the screen is very dim. even with max brightness. did anyone else have this issue? any ideas to resolve? thanks! i believe maybe the backlight of the screen is not on.
Why do you make the title and thumbnail in English, but then speak a different language? This video is completely useless to the people who understand the thumbnail and are looking for a solution.
It's pretty easy to follow along with the video without understanding the audio. I have not found this repair on an English RUclips video so this is better than nothing and in fact, it's very helpful imo.

Very easy indeed. Thank you so much for the video!
My hinges are fixed now, but instead of cotton, I used a mixture of super glue and bi-carb soda.
Lol. That's the formula for a diamond
Dude, are ur hinges still okay?

Do you have to loosen the hinges before the cotton thing?
