Wow what a beautiful drawing,so realistic I'm sure it growled at me. Love your work, I use FC pencils on pastelmat but can't get my lights to work over darks as well as you, must be doing something wrong.

Thank you, Sue! You are not alone, I also go through peaks and troughs with my own practice. It can be weirdly hard to set time aside to do the things you love! However, I usually find that it comes to a head and I'll pick up a pencil and do one of my best pieces. You'll find the motivation when the time is right :)

Hi Burach, sorry I missed your comment! I’m glad you’re inspired to get drawing. So, I use the clairefontaine pastelmat paper and board. This was on the sand coloured paper, that specific brand is worth paying for in my experience!
