Its always baffled me how much lore they have in this game without even making it obvious. Like, they made all this lore and unless you look at monster descriptions you'd almost never know that theres any sort of story to the monster world
The monster bios are pretty fun reads, I recommend giving some a read. My personal first recommendations would go to the bios for the Shugafam, as their bios where the ones I read that made me realize a long time ago that the bios are fun reads, the Shugafam bios just contain some simple world building and interesting ways on how each member gets their coat colour.
And I love that, because it doesn’t shove it down your throat, it allows you to play the game casually and if you want to find the lore, then you can find the lore
about there being no conflict in the monster world, there has been hints of a force in the monster world that hates music and tries to get the monsters to stop singing, or even tries to kill them. Also on celestial island, the colossal has it's ears plugged, meaning it probably hates music.
iirc this is hinted through rare wubbox's lyrics and werdo lyrics "every note is a monster" i'm pretty sure is said in the plant island werdo lyrics. "lower the volume" is said by rare wubbox on earth island. if we take that lyric from plant island literally, then lowering the volume stops monsters from being formed, ergo, after a while, they go extinct.

5:11 The Celestials turn into "statutes", which when you "revive?" them they turn into toddlers. Then you can ascend the Celestials into adults etc etc. Wublins are made of bubblerite (I think that's how you spell it?) which when you zap eggs into them, it powers them up.
8:26 fun fact: Kristan bush had the idea to make himself in MSM when he discovered it and big blue bubble decided to collaborate with bush to make the monster called shugabush and the ones on shugabush island for example shugabeats
Actually it was just going to be shugabush at 1st, but then his brother made a remix of the song Love or money with monsters from the game, which inspired them to make shugabush island. Also, I'll throw in another fun fact, bbb was trying to reach out to Jack Black because they wanted to make a Jack Black Island next, but they never got a response
I respect the devs to makes sure their "Monsters" are actually unpleasant to look at, it'd be waaaay too easy to pump out appealing designs that grab a massive audience, but at that point are they actually monsters? Case in point: Pokemon. Their ethos is literally to make sure the designs look like something you'd want to be friends with. What exactly is 'monstrous' about that? Sure most of them could easily kill you, but they won't.
There are a lot of ugly or scary looking Pokémon, I won't stand for this slander. Their designs are way better, more clever and more researched than MSM, looking gross doesn't make the designs superior lol Pokémon has a specific design philosophy too, revealed in an interview. They make sure no Pokémon is too cool or too cute, if a concept mon ends up like this, it will have goofy traits added to balance it out. If you seriously think it's easier to make Pokémon designs than MSM ones then idk what to tell you. More profitable, sure, but not easier, designing something to be ugly on purpose isn't harder than making it cute
@@LDAR I think what they were trying to say is that Pokémon doesn't necessarily fit the description that they are told, mainly the fact that Pokémon look more like animals than monsters a good example are characters like Pikachu and Charizard, Pikachu looks more like a raccoon dog and Charizard looks more like a lizard that has wings despite Charizard supposedly suggesting that it's based off of a dragon due to it being able to fly and breath fire. This is versus MSM where almost every, if not every monster in the games genuinely look like a monster that you would be weary of, maybe even avoid/run away from
Eternatus, hypno, pinsir, omastar, mewtwo,Xtau,Forretress, shiftry, shednija, nosepass, sableye,Swalot,Glupin,Grumpig, lunatone,Lileep, claydol, banette,Dusclops,Glaile, huntail. Must I go on? And believe me I CAN go on. There are *plenty* of monsterus pokemon.
@@Taypokemon Heh, I thought you were guessing some of my faves there! lol Cuz I LOOOOVE Sableye, Shedinja, Lileep, and Claydoll! But I would not call them ugly. They are unusual, but not grotesque compared to MSM. One of the closest pokemon that resemble MSM's design philosophy would actually be Jinx.
Party island is confirmed to have blipped out like the other islands. It’s the creature carrying the island that remained in the ocean. It later became the water island skin.
No one is better at expressing the sheer madness and confusion caused by the complete insanity that are these games than you, Choopo. 😂 You truly put it to words I never could have.
14:56 No joke I have been attempting to keep knowledge about this franchise for years and I don’t know if I even have half of it due to the fact BBB can just drop random lore bombs in their livestreams (idk if they still do those anymore) and that there is so much info to know all over the place that it would literally take years to meticulously comb through every piece of media and entry in the msm game to get all the lore

I’ve played msm since before I could read, and I had to get my parents to read things for me. When I entered school, I knew how to read way faster, because I was exposed to them as a child.
a few things wrong in this video, but there really small so not that big of a deal 1: 4:02 those are the magical islands not the outer islands 2: 6:26 the mythicals dreamed about the dreamythicals and cataliszt brought them to life, besides that we dont know what the origins of the pure mythicals and cataliszt are 3: 6:28 the the outer islands didnt fall into prism gates, they became the original 4 magical islands 4: 8:22 the magicals and shugabush monsters arent ethereals, the ethereals are the original monsters that the colossals made in the pocket dimension 5: 10:19 its called psychic island not fire frontier 6: 10:30 magical sanctum may be a titan and a magical island, but its different the other 4 in terms of being related to the outer islands theres 2 more that im too bothered to timestamp overall good video tho
3 is wrong - I'm not sure where it is confirmed that the Outer Islands disappeared into the Prism Gate, but it's been stated before by the Monster Handlers that the Outer Islands disappeared without a trace, and the Magical Islands are Titans that moved into the exact spaces that were occupied by the Outer Islands.
OH MY GOD I HAD THE SAME SCRAT NIGHTMARES AS A KID. My friends laugh at me when I tell them this but it’s so amazing to know that I was not the only one!!!
Awesome video Choopo, I loved the way you talked about one of my favorite interests Also I bet whoever composed that outro sequence is really cool and awesome and nice and funny
Man, I can’t believe you forgot my favorite detail: death does not exist in the monster world. Like, legitimately just does not exist. The singing monsters have no concept of death because nothing is able to die
no, they can die, they pass on into the afterlife, or the "beat hereafter", with which the clavavera can communicate buuuut it's not too relevant to the plot, so who cares
Yes it does, Bone Island and a couple skeletal decorations make that clear. The seasonal event Beat Hereafter is also to honor dead monsters, but they only die when they feel like it
Under ethereal island at some unknown point a workshop popped up with the Meebs which created five new monsters of which, one is almost impossible to exist following the rules of the Monster World Thingy.
Actually pretty accurate stuff, well done! I do have some corrections and comments though: - The disharmony was not caused by the colossals, I don't think it was revealed how it happened. Before DoF, the Colossals were free spirits, but during the cataclysm, they imbued their energy into the lands of the Continent to preserve the Monster World. - All four of the Outer Islands blipped out of existence (not from the Prism Gate). Only the Glubpole that held up party island and some confetti remain. - It was not said that the Monsters all came back at once. It's been implied that they've been singing away on their separate islands for awhile after the Dawn of Fire age. - The Shugafam are Legendary Monsters, not Ethereal Monsters. - Wublin Island doesn't exist in a pocket dimension, it's just a regular island surrounded by a thick storm cloud, called The Storm (I know, very clever). - Not a correction, but more info on the Titans. They are the actual Islands themselves and can move. The Colossals are spirits inhabiting islands and they can't move. - PS Vita was a parallel universe, essentially a different timeline where the Mythical Monsters were discovered sooner. They didn't stop updating it, they simply never updated it. They released it with all of the current content of MSM at the time and just left it like that. - Fun fact: MSM Playground was planned to have Quarrister as well, but it was scrapped. There's a video of a fully animated rig for it floating around on RUclips - I don't think Super Dinosaur Kickin' Tail is canon to the Big Blue Bubble multiverse, since it's a spin-off mobile game of an actual kids TV show. Those other games were official canonized to be in the multiverse tree though. - As for the expanding lore, most of it was just references, until 2014 they had to make up some stuff to have the prequel game make sense. Now they continue to build off of the lore because fans like it.
Honestly you didn’t do too badly, although my main correction is that we don’t actually know why the continent split, but from some of the bios of the celestials we know that it was from some dark cacophony that caused it to split. Additionally you forgot to mention that before the colossals made the etheral guys they made the monculus, but other than that your good.
There is another big blue bubble game called my Muppets show, its basically my singing monsters with Muppets, which means that my singing monsters is canon to Muppets lore, and possibly sesame street lore too because the Muppets show and sesame Street are in the same universe.
@@hydroquakevbut choo-poo considered the extensibles extended to the papa pizzeria crossover multiverse in his papa pizzeria video so why can't we can do that but with my singing monsters and the Muppets

Been playing this game with different saves since 2013, and only knew a little bit of the lore, like the surface level stuff of the fire element monsters
Howdy! I am chronically obsessed with My Singing Monsters so here is a very long list of corrections/comments because I am very familiar with these things 0:00 MSM is really a mobile series first and a PC series second since it’s been on mobile since the start and was only ported to PC in 2021 but close enough 2:13 I don’t think the Celestials were directly created by the Big Bang thing (which I think is called something like the Great Clangor?), they were just the first beings to exist sometime after it. Most of their bios in DOF say how they were created! 2:15 I feel like calling the Celestials MSM’s “gods” isn’t exactly accurate since they have little to do with actually _creating_ the Mobster World, as far as I’m aware. The Colossals are the ones that created most of the stuff in MSM (that isn’t from a different dimension) so they’re probably the closest things to “gods” that MSM has. I think the Celestials do have some kind of control over the elements they represent but other than that they’re kinda just old 2:22 The Celestials didn’t make the Living Core, I believe that was created by the Big Bang thing. At least, I’m guessing that’s what you mean by “life core” 2:44 I don’t think saying the Colossals’ names would kill you? They’re just incomprehensible to humans, so you couldn’t even say them in the first place 4:01 Those aren’t Outer Islands! Those are the Magical Islands, which are in the same locations as the Outer Islands in the modern day since the Outer Islands blipped out of existence. Also Magical Sanctum is in that picture, which _technically_ isn’t a Magical Island and isn’t filling in for an Outer Island 4:02 The Outer Islands are just for monsters that become adults, so they’re not really for “very special” monsters 4:16 I believe interdimensional travel wasn’t really a thing for monsters until after DOF, so the only available reality at the time was the Prime Reality (the “main” dimension of the Monster World) 4:39 I don’t think the cause of the Cataclysm has been revealed yet, all we know is SOMETHING happened that broke the Continent, and the Colossals infused their spirits into the lands of the Continent, becoming the Natural Islands. As far as we know, it wasn’t caused by the Colossals arguing. The ones that would eventually inhabit Tribal Island and the Colossingum had a disagreement about how to prepare for the end of the Dawn of Fire, but that’s the only sort of arguing among the Colossals we know of 4:58 None of the Fire monsters ever went extinct, they just went into hiding in the tunnel systems in the Living Core until they were rediscovered 5:00 I believe the Kayna on Tribal Island is the only confirmed monster to have been preserved in amber. The Fire monsters _do_ have a special connection to amber, but I don’t think there are any other examples of them being preserved in it 5:08 The Celestials are the only monsters that turn into statues, which is a part of their life cycles. There are monsters that start off as statues (the Wublins), but none of them turn into statues besides the Celestials 5:33 Uhhh, maybe? I think Fire is usually said to be the most important/powerful element but maybe it’s just out of the Natural elements. Electricity does contain the ability to create life (the Spark of Life, as it’s called), but I’m not sure if it’s more “important” than Fire? They don’t really compare element power levels like that so… unclear! 6:25 I think you conflated some things here. The Colossals _did_ create monsters, but it was by bringing statues to life via the Spark of Life before they went to sleep, and also those were the Natural/Fire and Ethereal monsters (and maybe more? A lot of monsters don’t have stated origins so they might’ve also been created by the Colossals). Some Mythicals _were_ created by something sleeping, but only the Dreamythicals, and they were created by the dreams of the original Mythicals being manifested into actual monsters by the Cataliszt. The Cherubble was apparently one of the earliest monsters created by the Colossals, so you’re kinda close on that! 6:28 Still not Outer Islands, and I’m not sure if it’s been entirely confirmed that they were swallowed by the Prism Gate? It’s very heavily implied, at least 6:31 So Party Island’s Glubpole (the thing with eyes at the bottom) did stick around and eventually became Glubber Lagoon (the Titan skin for Water Island), but I believe the rest of Party Island had the same fate as the other Outer Islands. There are still some remnants of Party Island littering the Living Ocean, at least 6:45 This isn’t exactly a correction but I still wanna talk about Spurrit because it’s WEIRD. The Monster-Handlers have suggested that Dr. Spurrit might’ve eventually become a Spurrit after drinking too much water from the Living Ocean, but they’ve also suggested that Spurrits might’ve just spawned into existence because Dr. Spurrit appreciated a statue the monsters made of him, and I don’t think _any_ explanation has been confirmed yet. So, yes, that Spurrit PROBABLY isn’t Dr. Spurrit, but _if_ Dr. Spurrit did become a Spurrit, and _if_ that Spurrit just so happens to be the one he became, the it could TECHNICALLY be Dr. Spurrit. Technically 7:46 I really like Creepuscule so frankly I see no downsides 7:48 I believe August 22nd was just MSM’s soft-release in Canada, it wasn’t released worldwide until September 4th, hence why that’s celebrated as MSM’s birthday. Also its soft-release might’ve actually been August 12th and not August 22nd? Not entirely sure 8:12 Kinda the opposite actually, the original Mine (which produced diamonds) was discontinued because it was apparently bad for the environment, and the Wubboxes were discovered inside the Mines shortly after and are the actual “power source” of the Colossals 8:22 Those aren’t Ethereals! They’re both Magicals, though the one on the right (the Xyster) is closely related to Ghazts, which are Ethereals. You’re kinda close! 8:24 The Shugafam also aren’t Ethereals, they’re Legendary monsters. They have pretty similar game mechanics but are otherwise unrelated classes. 8:33 I find it really funny that people keep calling them Ed Sheeran monsters because they’re actually based on a real human person but that person is Kristian Bush lol 8:47 I’m not sure if any of the people that inspired the Werdos are necessarily developers or are just voice actors, but maybe that’d still count them as developers? I don’t know what technically counts as being a developer 9:25 The Rare Wubbox, as far as I remember, is the only monster that was I guess “created” by a monster visiting the human world. Maybe that’s what you meant anyways but it kinda sounds like you were implying the same happened to other monsters 9:32 The Wublins were created by a common Wubbox, not a Rare Wubbox. Once again, maybe that’s what you meant anyways and the wording was just weird, idk 9:38 Wublin Island isn’t in a pocket dimension, it exists on the same main planet and dimension as most other islands. It is still fairly secluded since it’s inside of a perpetual storm, creatively named The Storm 10:13 The Titans are fully organic beings that just grow to the size of islands, they don’t have any theological (I guess?) significance. The Colossals are on a totally different level 10:25 I mentioned this before when I was talking about the Outer Islands. The Magical Islands are in the same locations as the Outer Islands, but they aren’t actually the Outer Island themselves. Unless they reveal that they’re like Prismatic Outer Islands or something, but I don’t think that’s possible anyways 10:50 I mean the “Magical Era” has already been happening in the way you’ve laid this out. I don’t think it’s an official term but I’m guessing it would’ve started with Psychic Island (originally Fire Frontier) since it was the first Magical Island to be discovered 10:56 Every Magical Island introduced a new element, being the Magical elements they’re named after. Not sure why you’re singling out Light Island 11:00 Light Island _is_ a Titan, so I’m not sure why you’re saying “one of the Titans” when Light Island is only one Titan 11:35 MSM being all weird and grody has always been one of my (very many) favorite things about it, but to each their own I guess! 14:41 The last of the totally new Seasonal events happened last month and there probably won’t be any more new Seasonal events (at least not for a very long time), but there’s usually something new that happens during returning events so fair enough 15:05 Hey, _I’m_ a walking talking Pokédex of the singing monsters! Ask me about MSM stuff!!!!!!!! Boy gosh howdy, that sure was a lot of stuff. Sorry if I was too harsh in any of this (especially since this whole comment is basically just pointing out things you got wrong), I just care about MSM a whole dang bunch and wanna talk about weird lore things! I might’ve also gotten some things wrong myself, so anyone reading this can let me know if I did some oopsies. I kinda doubt anyone would read all of this but thanks if you did! Even if you didn’t, I hope you have a nice day :)
You're pretty knowledgable in MSM! Probably the most accurate 'correctors' here in the comments. I do have a few slight corrections to your corrections though, if you don't mind: 4:16 - Not really, we can see plenty of evidence of inter-dimensional travel in Dawn of Fire. Thumpies exists in the game, (who is originally from the Thumpieverse dimensions), and plenty of Monsters travel through and fro the Prism Gate, which opens up to the Prism Dimension. 5:08 - I believe it was said that the lack of harmony in the world caused the Celestials to go dormant- or that they did so to preserve their energy. Not part of their life cycle though. Them starting as young Monsters is just a result of them being reborn. 5:33 - They were right, Electricity is the most powerful element and Galvana is the most powerful Celestial. 6:45 - Pretty sure Dr. Wardin E Spurrit did not turn into a Spurrit Monster. Unless there was a recent livestream saying otherwise?
@@hydroquakev No problem! As much as I love MSM, I’m still liable to make some mistakes, so thanks for pointing them out! 4:16 Dang, you’re totally right! I think I was just thinking of the Pocket Dimension, since I think they’ve said it was closed off from the Prime Dimension during the Dawn of Fire. I guess I thought that applied to interdimensional travel as a whole, for some reason 5:08 I believe I remember someone saying in a livestream that the Celestials do have cyclical life cycles; starting as babies, growing into elders, then reincarnating back into babies to do the whole thing all over again. I think their statue forms might be a natural part of that, though I’d have to double check all of this since I’m not entirely sure. I’m not sure if I _can_ double check it since there are a billion hours of MSM livestreams to look through but maybe it’s on the wiki somewhere. I think the lack of harmony thing was what caused Starhenge to crash into the Celestial Island Colossal, though maybe it still has something to do with the statues? Like, they normally go from elders straight to babies and the statue forms are because of the lack of harmony thing? Or maybe I’m totally wrong on this cyclical life cycle thing? I’m not sure! 5:33 Has that ever been specifically stated? I don’t remember them saying that a specific element was the most powerful (aside from I believe Fire, though that could’ve just been out of the Natural elements) but that definitely seems like something they could’ve said that I just forgot about. I wasn’t sure about this in my original comment anyways! 6:45 I think there was a livestream (probably around when Spurrit released) where they suggested that Dr. Spurrit might’ve become a Spurrit after drinking too much water from the Living Ocean, though I believe it was only a possibility/theory anyways. As far as I’m aware, whatever happened to Dr. Spurrit is currently a mystery, so I think it’s still _possible_ that he became a Spurrit. That could still not be the case, but at this point I don’t think there’s any way to tell
I'd say according to the celestials decriptions in DOF they are gods. Each of them controls a specific element of creation. Also their bios in DOF also imply they were a RESULT of cosmic matter formed during the "big whatever whatsit" or atleast the mech element celestial ( WHY DO I KEEP FORGETTING ITS NAME BRO) suggests they were.
Also a correction for 4:16 we know that the thumpies are able to travel between dimensions extremely easy and as we know this it would imply that cross dimensional traveling existed but wasnt as easily harnessed/used

Case in point: Pokemon. Their ethos is literally to make sure the designs look like something you'd want to be friends with. What exactly is 'monstrous' about that? Sure most of them could easily kill you, but they won't.
You’re spot on about that. The balance between cuteness and ugliness is probably one of the most charming things about the game
There are a lot of ugly or scary looking Pokémon, I won't stand for this slander. Their designs are way better, more clever and more researched than MSM, looking gross doesn't make the designs superior lol
Pokémon has a specific design philosophy too, revealed in an interview.
This is versus MSM where almost every, if not every monster in the games genuinely look like a monster that you would be weary of, maybe even avoid/run away from
Eternatus,hypno,pinsir,omastar,mewtwo,Xtau,Forretress,shiftry,shednija,nosepass,sableye,Swalot,Glupin,Grumpig,lunatone,Lileep,claydol,banette,Dusclops,Glaile,huntail.
Must I go on? And believe me I CAN go on. There are *plenty* of monsterus pokemon.
@@Taypokemon Heh, I thought you were guessing some of my faves there! lol
Cuz I LOOOOVE Sableye, Shedinja, Lileep, and Claydoll! But I would not call them ugly. They are unusual, but not grotesque compared to MSM.
One of the closest pokemon that resemble MSM's design philosophy would actually be Jinx.
I never would have expected the lore to My Singing Monsters to be as confusing as this

No joke I have been attempting to keep knowledge about this franchise for years and I don’t know if I even have half of it due to the fact BBB can just drop random lore bombs in their livestreams (idk if they still do those anymore) and that there is so much info to know all over the place that it would literally take years to meticulously comb through every piece of media and entry in the msm game to get all the lore

Nice that it actually happened!
a few things wrong in this video, but there really small so not that big of a deal
1: 4:02 those are the magical islands not the outer islands
2: 6:26 the mythicals dreamed about the dreamythicals and cataliszt brought them to life, besides that we dont know what the origins of the pure mythicals and cataliszt are
3: 6:28 the the outer islands didnt fall into prism gates, they became the original 4 magical islands
4: 8:22 the magicals and shugabush monsters arent ethereals, the ethereals are the original monsters that the colossals made in the pocket dimension
5: 10:19 its called psychic island not fire frontier
6: 10:30 magical sanctum may be a titan and a magical island, but its different the other 4 in terms of being related to the outer islands
theres 2 more that im too bothered to timestamp
overall good video tho
There Is A Problem With This. Technically You Can Refer To Physic Island As Fire Frontier Cause THAT WAS IT’S NAME BEFORE
good point, but is it canon or is it just a gameplay perspective?
3 is wrong - I'm not sure where it is confirmed that the Outer Islands disappeared into the Prism Gate, but it's been stated before by the Monster Handlers that the Outer Islands disappeared without a trace, and the Magical Islands are Titans that moved into the exact spaces that were occupied by the Outer Islands.

Man, I can’t believe you forgot my favorite detail: death does not exist in the monster world. Like, legitimately just does not exist. The singing monsters have no concept of death because nothing is able to die
bone island
Then why does the beat hereafter exist
no, they can die, they pass on into the afterlife, or the "beat hereafter", with which the clavavera can communicate
buuuut it's not too relevant to the plot, so who cares
They can die, but only when they feel like it
Yes it does, Bone Island and a couple skeletal decorations make that clear. The seasonal event Beat Hereafter is also to honor dead monsters, but they only die when they feel like it
Under ethereal island at some unknown point a workshop popped up with the Meebs which created five new monsters of which, one is almost impossible to exist following the rules of the Monster World Thingy.
I love the Chimps in Space movie keeps showing up in episode and the sonic underground guitar in the back ground.
Actually pretty accurate stuff, well done! I do have some corrections and comments though:
- The disharmony was not caused by the colossals, I don't think it was revealed how it happened.
There's a video of a fully animated rig for it floating around on RUclips
- I don't think Super Dinosaur Kickin' Tail is canon to the Big Blue Bubble multiverse, since it's a spin-off mobile game of an actual kids TV show. Those other games were official canonized to be in the multiverse tree though.
- As for the expanding lore, most of it was just references, until 2014 they had to make up some stuff to have the prequel game make sense. Now they continue to build off of the lore because fans like it.
Technically eveything is canon, because our reality is.

This may be a controversial take but....I really like party island, I like it alot
you know it’s crazy how this game has so much lore it’s just funny to me and also I want to listen to every single part of it.
Howdy! I am chronically obsessed with My Singing Monsters so here is a very long list of corrections/comments because I am very familiar with these things
0:00 MSM is really a mobile series first and a PC series second since it’s been on mobile since the start and was only ported to PC in 2021 but close enough
2:13 I don’t think the Celestials were directly created by the Big Bang thing (which I think is called something like the Great Clangor?), they were just the first beings to exist sometime after it.
I think the Celestials do have some kind of control over the elements they represent but other than that they’re kinda just old
2:22 The Celestials didn’t make the Living Core, I believe that was created by the Big Bang thing. At least, I’m guessing that’s what you mean by “life core”
2:44 I don’t think saying the Colossals’ names would kill you? They’re just incomprehensible to humans, so you couldn’t even say them in the first place
4:01 Those aren’t Outer Islands! Those are the Magical Islands, which are in the same locations as the Outer Islands in the modern day since the Outer Islands blipped out of existence. Also Magical Sanctum is in that picture, which _technically_ isn’t a Magical Island and isn’t filling in for an Outer Island
4:02 The Outer Islands are just for monsters that become adults, so they’re not really for “very special” monsters
4:16 I believe interdimensional travel wasn’t really a thing for monsters until after DOF, so the only available reality at the time was the Prime Reality (the “main” dimension of the Monster World)
4:39 I don’t think the cause of the Cataclysm has been revealed yet, all we know is SOMETHING happened that broke the Continent, and the Colossals infused their spirits into the lands of the Continent, becoming the Natural Islands. As far as we know, it wasn’t caused by the Colossals arguing. The ones that would eventually inhabit Tribal Island and the Colossingum had a disagreement about how to prepare for the end of the Dawn of Fire, but that’s the only sort of arguing among the Colossals we know of
4:58 None of the Fire monsters ever went extinct, they just went into hiding in the tunnel systems in the Living Core until they were rediscovered
5:00 I believe the Kayna on Tribal Island is the only confirmed monster to have been preserved in amber. The Fire monsters _do_ have a special connection to amber, but I don’t think there are any other examples of them being preserved in it
5:08 The Celestials are the only monsters that turn into statues, which is a part of their life cycles. There are monsters that start off as statues (the Wublins), but none of them turn into statues besides the Celestials
5:33 Uhhh, maybe?
It’s very heavily implied, at least
6:31 So Party Island’s Glubpole (the thing with eyes at the bottom) did stick around and eventually became Glubber Lagoon (the Titan skin for Water Island), but I believe the rest of Party Island had the same fate as the other Outer Islands. There are still some remnants of Party Island littering the Living Ocean, at least
6:45 This isn’t exactly a correction but I still wanna talk about Spurrit because it’s WEIRD. Spurrit. Technically
7:46 I really like Creepuscule so frankly I see no downsides
7:48 I believe August 22nd was just MSM’s soft-release in Canada, it wasn’t released worldwide until September 4th, hence why that’s celebrated as MSM’s birthday. Also its soft-release might’ve actually been August 12th and not August 22nd? Not entirely sure
8:12 Kinda the opposite actually, the original Mine (which produced diamonds) was discontinued because it was apparently bad for the environment, and the Wubboxes were discovered inside the Mines shortly after and are the actual “power source” of the Colossals
8:22 Those aren’t Ethereals!
8:33 I find it really funny that people keep calling them Ed Sheeran monsters because they’re actually based on a real human person but that person is Kristian Bush lol
8:47 I’m not sure if any of the people that inspired the Werdos are necessarily developers or are just voice actors, but maybe that’d still count them as developers? I don’t know what technically counts as being a developer
9:25 The Rare Wubbox, as far as I remember, is the only monster that was I guess “created” by a monster visiting the human world. Maybe that’s what you meant anyways but it kinda sounds like you were implying the same happened to other monsters
9:32 The Wublins were created by a common Wubbox, not a Rare Wubbox. Once again, maybe that’s what you meant anyways and the wording was just weird, idk
9:38 Wublin Island isn’t in a pocket dimension, it exists on the same main planet and dimension as most other islands. It is still fairly secluded since it’s inside of a perpetual storm, creatively named The Storm
10:13 The Titans are fully organic beings that just grow to the size of islands, they don’t have any theological (I guess?) significance. The Colossals are on a totally different level
10:25 I mentioned this before when I was talking about the Outer Islands. The Magical Islands are in the same locations as the Outer Islands, but they aren’t actually the Outer Island themselves. Unless they reveal that they’re like Prismatic Outer Islands or something, but I don’t think that’s possible anyways
10:50 I mean the “Magical Era” has already been happening in the way you’ve laid this out. I don’t think it’s an official term but I’m guessing it would’ve started with Psychic Island (originally Fire Frontier) since it was the first Magical Island to be discovered
10:56 Every Magical Island introduced a new element, being the Magical elements they’re named after. Not sure why you’re singling out Light Island
11:00 Light Island _is_ a Titan, so I’m not sure why you’re saying “one of the Titans” when Light Island is only one Titan
11:35 MSM being all weird and grody has always been one of my (very many) favorite things about it, but to each their own I guess!
14:41 The last of the totally new Seasonal events happened last month and there probably won’t be any more new Seasonal events (at least not for a very long time), but there’s usually something new that happens during returning events so fair enough
15:05 Hey, _I’m_ a walking talking Pokédex of the singing monsters!
I do have a few slight corrections to your corrections though, if you don't mind:
4:16 - Not really, we can see plenty of evidence of inter-dimensional travel in Dawn of Fire.
@@hydroquakev
No problem!
I guess I thought that applied to interdimensional travel as a whole, for some reason
5:08 I believe I remember someone saying in a livestream that the Celestials do have cyclical life cycles; starting as babies, growing into elders, then reincarnating back into babies to do the whole thing all over again.
Also a correction for 4:16 we know that the thumpies are able to travel between dimensions extremely easy and as we know this it would imply that cross dimensional traveling existed but wasnt as easily harnessed/used
Choopo, I have been begin you for so long to do doc mcstuffins, and I will keep doing it until you listen, also you should cover dragonvale lore in the meantime
