Hi everyone. PCBWay are furrently celebrating their 10year anniversary. Check them out at www.pcbway.com :)
I found a 32" Samsung TV in the carpark of my apartment block. The screen was good but the PSU had 4 failed components, no less. I was very pleased when I managed to fix it :). I recently found a 40" JVC TV on the pavement outside my apartment. I took it upstairs and there wasn't even anything wrong with it. It just baffles me what people throw away.
I found a Lenovo gaming laptop at the tip the other day there was nothing wrong with that either!
My wife used to have a 24 inch Bush, until I bought some clippers.
😂😂, mate you want to borrow Phil them clippers for his hair too 😂🤭🤭
@@bugzyogI thought you were going to say for his wife 😮
👏 brilliant
I have a buddy who brought brand new(from the store) a 4k LG NANO, 55", and he broke just as he taking the TV out form the box. He is kind of small and the TV is kind of big, so he grab it by the display itself that cracked immediately. About 900$ lost in an instance.
your tech knowledge is second to none.
My 50 LG inch was free..., shame it needed new set of led... But £26 for a set... And easy fix. That's an easy repair this time for you Phil 👍
A dewalt gyroscopic screwdriver is what I use makes disassemble and assembly fast
The larger the screen the more difficult it is to move the screen and put it somewhere safe, plus it gives you major anxiety when moving screens especially when you are repairing somebody else's Tv.
I am quite happy with 1080p really, I got a much higher res monitor but I tend to just stick with 1080p with the occasional 1440p for latest games.
Good to see you branching out and learning new things buddy! Great work. Always something new to learn in our field. Keep up the great work!
About time you fixed TV 👏👏
Great video, and love the explanation on what you was doing and using.
Today I found a 40-inch TV next to the garbage can, but I didn't have to repair it because it's fully functional, but it doesn't have a remote control ☺️
Fingers crossed for this one !!!
Nicely done! A nice, honest fix.
You found your loose screws! You should have 300K subscribers; at least. Those LCD power supplies sure don't tickle, but the Plasma ones, not good. Bottom line, don't touch them. Great Repair and Video Phil. You Rock!!
You had better luck then I did with my side of the road find as I foolishly cracked the screen while getting it back together after cleaning it out. I plan on using it for spare parts at this point since it's impossible to get screen replacements that don't cost twice or more then the cost of a new TV/monitor if you can even find one.
i loved how you said relatively simple ,,im sure you under estimate you're excellent knowledge and skills
Nah, it's simple "relative" to those skills. This was way more simple than rebelling an APU on a PS5
Great job and love the soldering tips. 😀
Great fix mate finally a working one
I get excited when you tackle non-ps5 things! Nice fix.
Phil , Cracking fix up as I say cost u nothing as just ur time and it’s a not a waste of money and time. To many things going in the tip as the best way possible is fixing and replacing parts and selling them for cash for more profit projects. 🎉
Yeah baby
NO DROPS this time! Good job saving another from the tip.
Ha! Got Em!
Nice fix. And interesting video.an very helpful
i have a 1000 inch tv embedded on my ceiling...
i watch it while doing bench press....
I've just put a 50inch TV outside of my house, as it stopped working, 😂
Your local repair café will probably fix that for free, then if you still don't want it then donate it to a local charity that would benefit from it. Get a warm feeling for doing the right thing. Or just toss in landfill and realise how worthless your life is.
Up to you 😘
@@georgeprout42 I never thought about doing that, thank you for the great advice buddy 👍
Hey there hopeing u see this im have trouble with my ps4 original it turns on blue light stays on for 2-3 seconds then turns off. And the fan doesn't spin as wel.
I have a 43: Bush tv ready for tip trip back light failure , might keep remote was going to attempt fix but can't be asked
My tv keeps turning off and on, but it is okay for like an hour if you leave it for a while. Any idea what could be wrong?
what make is the tv some tvs suffer bad solder joints on the power supply a re flow usually solves the problem
@@vincef836 It is a samsung tv
I remember. Lol !
That’s a lot of inches
So, you fix Hitachi, nice work. What happened to Tosh?
lol just realized my mistake, thanks bud
nice fix and see you soon
More inches than anyone can handle!
Oooooh matron!! Hahah!
Here they cut the power cord on all scrap TVs, which happens to be non removable on the older TVs. This one is a keeper tho, 2 HDMI and SCART? Nice!
Well done your blue peter badge will be in the post
Haha prick
🤣🤣💯💯👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Phil come on , if you want to watch yourself having a Tommy tank just buy a mirror 😂😂
haha that's a good point, much cheaper lol
Don't run the backlight at 100% or the LEDs won't last long on these.
HDMI and a Scart socket, jesus how old is that tv? So if I need a used tv I have to find some kenyans, got it 😂
That is a TERRIBLE dashboard for your xbox.
when you get a little older you won't have angry punching fits.
and if you do, please don't film it. or are you asking for help ?
Get a grip buddy 🙄
