- Hello! In this video I'll explain how to enable AMD CPU fTPM on your Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard and solve the Secure Boot Error i.e. 'Secure Boot can not be enabled when System in User Mode. Repeat Operation after enrolling Platform Key.'
I'll also cover the 'CSM is Loaded' error.

Before doing all this, Make sure that your Windows drive (i.e. the ssd or hdd) is GPT and *Not MBR*
How to do this? You can use mbr2gpt or if you don't know how to do it, just check this video and I hope it'll help you out

Bro i did that and now my bios mode is in UEFI mode but the secure boot is still off and i am unable to enable it still says the same error
i am missing something?
i run those commands and then for that firmware thingy i went to bios and turn only uefi mode and then my windows was in uefi mode it booted fast and i did't see any window logo just Gigabyte and then password section i then double checked in system information it was uefi mode bios but secure boot was still off i restarted and tried turning on but failed same error again.
my drive is also in gpt format i checked by diskpart and list disk commands

and i download the recent health software win 11 and it says i am ready to go while the older one says no and my secure boot is still off

i think that its enough that your pc should support secure boot turning that ON is not necassary for win 11 but i do want to turn it On so help me bruh

Finally, after weeks of trying to find this out, within a few minutes i enabled it because of your video. I was literally on the same page in the bios, where you can enable it, and somehow, i just did not see it. I looked down instead of up.
Then when doing this procedure when uploading and saving the secure boot, my pc does not give an image, it only remains on a black screen, it does not start the bios, what do I do?
please remove the CMOS battery for 5-ish minutes, to reset your BIOS settings, then boot into Windows as usual, and use the mbr2gpt utility in cmd to convert your drive to GPT if it wasn't GPT already and then try this again.

Omg you're a lifesaver bro! I tried first time and got black screen using another youtube video as guide. Had to remove my CMOS batt to reset my BIOS. Then stumbled upon your video and followed each step closely and it freaking works!!! 👍
Guys, you don't need to disable CSM for secure boot. The device only needs to be secure boot capable with TPM enabled. Disabling CSM is bricking a lot of motherboards.

Bro I did everything you said.. more than 5 times.. but whenever I disable cms support.. my bootable devices won't show up.. so when I restart my pc after disabling my cms.. my pc does not start.. it directly opens the bios whenever I restart my pc, do you know what's causing this loop?

Hi, after I update the Platform Keys my PC won't boot, fans will turn off and on. I even reset the CMOS (by conducting the pins with a screwdriver and taking out the battery with the PC unplugged for an hour) and nothing. Need help!!!

I did this yesterday but my monitor is not booting up anymore, tried everything from reseting bios to removing graphics card, ram, changingd monitor cables... all in vain as the monitor does not show anything everytime I start the computer.... does this mean the motherboard is gone and i have to replace it or is it only the graphics card prblm that needs to be changed....
try connecting your pc to a tv screen if it work's then the issue is with your monitor, try using the motherboard's hdmi port if your cpu has in-built graphics with your monitor and if all this doesn't work try using a different graphics card

To those with Gigabyte board with a F type processor or no integrated gpu becareful doing this you wont get any output/video output if you did this without Igpu even if you reset cmos/short the pins nothing with happen you need a Non F processor or with integrated gpu processor.
And you must have a uefi compatible storage and gpu.
I'm in my way to the store to try rma-ing my board or let them repair it.

@@Maksat_Buranbaev the solution is just put an apu and disable secure boot, like the main comment said i think its a problem of compatibility with storage or the gpu in my particular case my really old gpu (gts 450 btw) is uncompatible with uefi, so get the cmos disabled and secure boot enabled make the typical loop

My pc is not booting in windows 10 again after turning off csm. What to do?
I have the same motherboard and I wanted to do the same procedure but when activating the secure boot as you do, it no longer lets me start windows through my nvme and disables the nvme and it does not start. the only option is to disable secure boot again and activate csm
This happened with me as well before recording this video
All I did was make sure everything was back to vanilla settings and then I tried everything again, try following every step again maybe and make sure that your nvme is GPT and if it still doesn't work for you, you can contact me on discord

Yep. Same thing here. It’s not his fault. Some people freak out and think they broke something but there is an option to reset everything to default and simply try again :)
@@peacebread if your lucky that works. For me since I have an RX 570, secure boot gives issued to AMD cards so I had to clear cmos and try again. Unfortunately for me even after this, enabling secure boot apparently stops detecting my windows boot device so it’s kinda annoying. Later today I will try to change the format of my drive from MBR to something else.

Really great video, but after I was able to enable secure boot, hit save and exit, nothing happened. Blank screens. Won't load windows, and when I try a hard reset, I don't even get the prompt to open the bios. Any advice here would be great

After some time my mOBo was Turning oN But not giving display at all.. so i removed cmos cell nd GPu And Powered by Mobo Display And Turned off everything to default now it boots but how am i gonna install Win 11 this way

For anyone having issues after trying this and being stuck in a boot loop even after resetting cmos try to hold down power and reset button for ~10 seconds this will kick in the back up bios if your motherboard supports it

When I disable csm I can open windows I just opens bios everytime by default.
What is your Windows boot mode? Was it legacy before changing the Secure boot state or UEFI?
My Windows boot mode was UEFI :)
@@peacebread Mine was Legacy first and hence I was not able to boot up. But after converting my SSD from MBR to GPD, I was finally able to turn ON secure boot! Please do mention!

Guys, to fix the black screen, you need to close the contact with a jumper CMOS on the motherboard. If you do not have a jumper, replace it with a screwdriver. THE COMPUTER MUST BE TURNED OFF !! BUT DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER. My English is very bad, I don't speak English well. Sorry for mistakes!! I hope I helped someone.
