THANK YOU!! I’ve been watching you doing vehicle reviews since I was young and now that I’m looking at Abarth 500 I’ve been searching for videos on them and I’ve come across the goat of car reviews with his own Abarth! Keep the videos coming brotha!
Speaking from experience, I had an R53 MINI and loved it, but I absolutely would take this in a heartbeat. The MINI has a nicer interior, but where it matters the most, I get far more smiles out of this car than I did the MINI. It has so much character!
Hate to tell you this, but that intake quickly gets heat soaked. The best intake for this car is one that flows into the front fender and draws cool air from the brake duct. The 500 Abarth needs cool air, as the engine carries a lot of heat. Highly recommend an intercooler and hood ducts
Thanks for the great video. I recently bought a 2015. I am doing a little maintenance. A few questions. 1. Is there a Mass Air Flow sensor? I usually clean these when changing my air filters. 2. Any idea how much performance this kit added (or is it mainly aesthetics, looks very cool!). 3. All in, how much did this cost.. roughly? TIA. Hugh
I got a turbo blanket from madness autoworks and it has the spot at the top for that sensor but my sensor on my 2013 comes out the right bottom. I'm trying to get a credit or exchange but there ignoring my emails kind of makes me upset I'm not sure why they didn't specify online.
No updates to report, it's been put aside. I talked about some the reasons in my two most recent youtube LIVEs. I'll probably work on finishing the '62 GMC and the 240SX before attempting to get back on the Chevelle. Long story short, the guy that was helping me with it is no longer helping me. I have to take things one at a time because, unfortunately, that car has a lot of issues that never got worked out like they were supposed to.
It's really not as bad as you might expect. You can hear it a little more with the hood open, but that's about it. I have some clips at the end of the video. I've heard new cars with far worse injector rattle straight from the factory lol.
This guy will always be the goat
Thank you brotha!
He is chill for sure
Yo please keep upgrading and showing us! Drive safe don’t DIE
You are were the first person I subscribed to like 8 years ago. Look how far you’ve come bro!
Thank you so much!! It's been an amazing journey over the years, that's for sure!

When an intake looks like a muffler.... LOL. Nice kit!!
Man you're making me want to forget getting a r53 mini and get a Abarth now!

@saabkyle04 copy that, thanks man!
I wanted to buy a mini and in the end I bought a 695 competizione and I love it.
That air intake for the Abarth looks so cool, not gonna lie!

I know right! Just one of the many things I love about this car!

Hey Kyle, Happy new year!

I enjoy watching your videos!
It makes look like the car have more into it. Looks very nice
I have one of those intakes however it doesn’t have that small outlet piece on the airbox
Any tune required for aftermarket air intake on the 500 Abarth?

When does the after market exhaust go on?
I'm not sure, I'd like to do one, have my eye on a few, but we'll see!
Can you do an update on the Chevrolet Chevelle, SS?

Finally i can see how my flat 500 will sound with that upgrade now do a blow off valve
That’s definitely a nice upgrade
I think so too!
Probably hear a lot more injector rattle when ditching the stock cover

Love it!
Me too!
Cool
Thanks!
Nice air intake. But by the way, it's really not a good idea to put tools on the battery, and to let it plugged in during work ! 😨
or how to polish t_rd
LOL funny guy 😂
@@saabkyle04 don't take it personal man , but it is just the car!
