My daughter Tennille bought a 2017 Fiat 500 Abarth in yellow, shortly before she passed in 2018, at the age of 33. Her husband kept it for a few years then traded it in, (after offering it to me, but couldn't afford it). Well.. Just a week ago I decided to find it. It was still at the dealership, two years later! The owner kept it there to use. Was never for sale! God was looking out for me! I'm buying it on Memorial day! (2024). I'm Beyond Excited!! 🧡 It only has 42k miles!

I’ve had my 2013 Abarth since I bought it brand new in 2014 with only 7 miles on the odometer. Still puts a smile on my face with over 107,000 miles on it.
Man, I've been watching your channel since 2017, and I've seen you own a Lexus, Genesis, classic Ford, and even your Grandfather's Mercury. I wonder what car could be next.

The sound of the abarth so loud and amazing with the sport button its a beast long time my dad and myselt driving one of my friends cars and woow every time i hear the exhaust sounds so good and loud

Just stumbled upon your channel again, I watched you for the first time back in 2010 when I knew almost nothing about cars, I was an enthusiastic 18 yo kiddo who just happened to get a driving license. Watching your content was one of my favorite things to do back then when I could only dream of having my actual dream car. It's really nostalgic coming back here after being able not only to do that, but also run a repair shop and having cars as one of my main reasons to live, being both my hobby and work. You were a big reference for most of us back in the day. Today, I sold my dream car and I have other hobbies, but the love for cars and driving is still here, even though my priorities changed. That being said, it's sad how nowadays most car content is just freaking stupid or full of "supercar bros". Feels like people don't care about jack sh1t unless it's "instagrammable". Hope you're doing well, it would be an honor to meet you some day.

Honestly Kyle, that's a very clean little Abarth and it sounds awesome. Not bad to have all that for a daily driver eh.
I absolutely love these cars. I remember test-driving a nearly-mint one in 2018, loving it, but not able to afford it at $17,000. I ended up buying a 5-yo Mini Cooper instead, which I also love, but I’m still hoping to own one of these one day. Congrats, Kyle!
Really good review mate. Loved the thoroughness and all the technical details that most other channels leave out.
Great detailed review. I just purchased a manual 2018 Lounge and the thing is an absolute hoot. I came from a 2016 Mini Cooper and it wasn't anywhere near as fun to drive. Previous gen. Coopers might quality, but the current F56 generation is ponderous by comparison and its shift action far too notchy and the clutch is heavy and long. It feels like driving a truck. Fiat, however, really captured the synergy of a light clutch, close shifter location to the steering wheel and precise, snickity throws. Add the lightweight chassis and small wheelbase and the go-kart vibe is assured. Love it!
This video was great watching Kyle! You've been my inspiration to start my channel a few years ago, and when I saw your post of buying this car, as a 2014 500 owner with one in this same color, I was excited to watch this video. Keep up the great work!

I think you’d be interested in the Abarth 124 and Abarth Punto Evo SuperSport. My dad owns a 124 and I a Punto and both have the same MultiAir Turbo engines (with some minor differences), but each have very unique power delivery and handling characteristics. I’m from Georgia but live in England so I don’t know if the Punto is available there, but I’m sure there have been some imports over the years. There were only 199 of them built and the number has dwindled over the years, so they’re definitely a dying breed.

My brother doesn’t have a 2015 fiat 500 arbarth but he had a 2018 Audi S4 but with a rear wing we went to New Jersey to go to a dealer and we finally got his dream car so I like his car but I like the 2017 Nissan GT-R I would modified it and thanks Kyle have a good day love from Maryland

@saabkyle04 I just picked up a 17 focus hatchback last year put a high flow resonator and a muffler delete and it sounds so amazing especially on cold starts

Sadly, it has not progressed, but I'm trying to get there. This year has been a challenge to say the least. Once the S10 is finished and this Fiero is gone, I should start getting more freed up. I still have the '62 GMC to work on too, but that's a long story.

I miss my 2015. You should look into getting the black trim lights for it. Totally changes the appearance from the "cute" look to a little more menacing.
Yeah I know what you're talking about, I can't remember when they started fitting them, but it was in the later years. Definitely changes the look quite a bit.
@@saabkyle04 so they were the original Turbo model lights, 2015 was the first year it was an option. I had a Granito with the cloth interior, those wheels and the black lights

I drove a 500X once, mainly because a friend was driving it for free. That thing was a massive turd. I'm sure the 500 abarth is a significantly better driver, but if we thought 00s gm plastic was bad, this is significantly worse.
