  • We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your incredible support of our campaign for the people of Artsakh, and for helping us raise over $600K so far in donations to provide for those in dire need via the Armenia Fund. Because of you, we will be able to help displaced civilians, young and old, who are affected by the hideous war crimes inflicted upon Artsakh by Azerbaijan and Turkey. Please watch this full interview to get a more intimate look and understanding into why we came together to release “Protect The Land” and “Genocidal Humanoidz.” To the four of us, it’s extremely important to share these truths with you. It is for our ancestors, our culture, and our nation. Help us spread the message.

A great and inspiring show that our personal and creative issues always need to take a step back behind certain larger situations that are above us, and a tragic demonstration of how shadowplay and bluster can lead to true immorality through great injustice!

    • @DragHo92
      @DragHo92 3 года назад +58

I think and may be wrong, that is because they HAD problems about the kind and the style of music to play together. Daron was more for a Rock/Metal way and Serj was more on a melodic/orchestral way. But the problems came out only because of music. They are from the same country, and if so, the music you prefer the most came to second place... This two songs were made NOT because "S.O.A.D. ARE MAKING A NEW ALBUM" but as a powerful message to the whole world about the disaster happened between armenia and turkish. So, no matter what were the problem that divided SOAD, the message and emotions ar always the same, together.

About social media manipulation, dictatorships, religion used in the name of violence and complex geopolitical issues. This isn't a random celebrity putting out a sponsored tweet in the name of safe political causes which they know everyone will agree on. Bro, its a surrender. Not a ceasefire.
You know its a surrender when you thought you had Shusha under your control but the next day, you suddenly sign an accord and pledge to move all your troops out of Nagorno Karabagh. That is why people are rioting in Yerevan right now. They know its a surrender.
"Ceasefire" just sounds kinda less humiliating, I know, but the truth is, NK as a de facto entity is OVER. As such, calling it a "ceasefire" is pretty moot.
And in case its a ceasefire, what exactly is the point of making this? Obviously the fighting has stopped, right? But sadly no amount of PR will ever get you the previous status you had on NK, the Minsk group has failed, and Russia directly stepped in, so, spreading the word in Western countries is useless.

I’ve been letting my friends know about the issues you’ve brought up and I hope we can be apart of the change that helps the wrongs done to Armenia come to an end. Thank you for bringing this information to me SOAD, if it wasn’t for you I would have no clue as to what injustices were going on on the other side of the the planet

These guys keep demonstrating the world what it means to be an artist. It is not just the craft but the message you're carrying. I hope as many people as possible will join them in raising the voice against injustice and atrocities!

@SystemofaDown the WORLD is needing your music more than ever as a teenager growing up in the 90s I didn’t know what all it meant and now 34 yrs old my eyes are open all 3 of them and I understand as an American what we need to be doing with the FREEDOM we were born with. People in democracies stand up and speak out for the voiceless for the oppressed and let’s start doing taking action to help our global brothers and sisters of the planet. One Love.

Much love and respect for these heroes. I hope their efforts are multiplied by the masses to help alleviate, nay, eliminate the suffering and struggle of the Armenians from Artsakh. Looking forward to songs of peace and new beginnings from SOAD.
Your friend, fan and supporter from Iran.

    I'm crying.
I had no idea what had happened in 1915 until now.... from these 4 guys.....
I think you guys were blessed by God....
Meant 2 make it here and grow up as safely as possible 2 be able 2 stay on top of it & let the world know what happened and keeps repeating itself appearantly.
When you 4 are 2gether its like you light up the stars with God's love. 2gether you are a force 2 be reckoned with. Do not stand alone. Please this is not about you alone. You have a calling...... Being alone leaves each of you vulnerable.
2gether your strength is beyond and beautiful.
    Just sayin..
God be with you all 4 of you.
