When the British-built Nissan Qashqai first went on sale in the UK it introduced an entirely new segment to choose from - the compact, SUV crossover.
Matching SUV-like looks with a practical rear end more reminiscent of an estate, the Qashqai was an instant hit.
In fact, it was so much of a hit it sparked a wave of crossover copycats. But UK sales still put the Qashqai on top in the crossover market thanks to a unique blend of practicality and style.
Available in two- or four-wheel drive, the Qashqai is more of a soft-roader than a workhorse all-terrain vehicle and it is most likely to be seen in cities and on the school run than up mountains... Авто/Мото
Glad we could help :) thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate hearing from our viewers.
We've had our Quashqai for 3 yrs now and we love it. We are now considering the new 360!!! Great cars, ex all round!!!
nice review, but I think you are meant to park between the lines in the carpark!
i think you are incredible man, u described the car very well , and you made the points of strength in the car crystal clear. well done man ... u made me wish to buy one :)
Thanks for your comment. I think the Qashqai could be a bit more economic as well. I think Nissan need to introduce a new low emitting diesel, it will obviously help with emissions but it may help keep the Qashqai popular as it is getting a bit old now.
Thanks for your comment. It is great to know our reviews are helping people :) Any advice for future reviews???
Cheers for that :) indeed we will keep it up. Thanks again for the feedback!
so, between the yeti and the qashqai what would you reckon ?
Yeh the Qashqai is great. I hope Nissan stay strong with it over the coming years. Do you think there is scope to go anywhere else with it - different model variants perhaps???
Thanks for this thinking of buying the +2 , you have made my mind up. Thanks again
Is there a new model due soon for 2014?
Great video though, your Navara video encouraged me to buy 2 for my company.
Nice take on reviews!
just keep it up, i think one day you are gonna have your own TV program :)
what is the name of this color?
There's a lot of debate over that, but the Qashqai was really the first one to be slapped with the name tag. A bit like the way the Range Rover Evoque is classed as one of the first crossover SUV's, which it clearly wasn't.
Haha good, glad the review helped...and yes, we will practice our parking :p
Great review, Parking suspect ! Going to buy the QQ+2. 360 2.0 Auto 4wd petrol on Motability - just been released at £1299 advance payment. Need to accommodate wheelchair - Don't care about emissions or re-sale vale - just going to enjoy it !
Good reviews
Their dad was sitting in the back of the car. Tried to hide himself but at one point he fell asleep and you could see him very well.
I own a 2007 model full option (xenon and 2.0 4wd).
It is a luxury car. But because of the Panoramic roof it is rather low. In the backseat i touch the roof with my head. For the rest it is a good car, could have been more economic though.
believe it's gun metallic
How bad was your parking? You were well over the line.
Yep. We agree. We sent him straight back to drivers ed!
Inside mirror blocks the front view
im going from a ford ka to this beast
LOL @7:55 that's a terrible parking position, you are outside your bay. If someone comes and parks near you they will damage your door when the get out.
Think ill get a 360 then, yes!
Peugeot's take on the Qashqai is much better IMO
Haha, fun, fun, fun!
no stopping sign.... so he stops. AND the car is moving, while holding a mobile phone, 3 pen points and £60 fine... seriously, showing bad examples... and im only 4 minutes in to the video!
Sorry - but totally disagree with this review (and comments). I bought a 2ltr CVT Qashqai new in Sept 2010 and it is the worst pile of junk I've ever had. Abyssmal build quality (listed nearly 30 faults in first 2-3 days of ownership) constant rattles, squeaks and vibrations. Recently needed to replace the battery (on a 2.5yr old car!) costing 70pounds and tow charges of 40pounds as this was not fully covered by Nissan's 'so-called' 5-year warrenty! Avoid any Nissan / Qashqai like the plague
Wowww worst Bay Park ever
