Engines are good based on how they have been looked after, generally Toyotas are meant to be slightly better. But sometimes it depends on luck and its history/maintenance.. But generally the 1.6 engines on the Nissans are better than Nissans 1.5 engines.
@@highgatemotors8968 Having owned a RAV4 and now the Qashqai, I would say that the RAV4 felt more solid, and with the Qashqai, I don't like the position of the hand brake. The 1.6L petrol engine is no fireball, but it copes well in town.
