MTA NYC Bus 2013 New Flyer Xcelsior XD60 Buses with Flashing Blue SBS (Select Bus Service) Lights

Here are some videos taken between 2021 and 2024, featuring New Flyer Xcelsior XD60 buses running under MTA NYC Transit (New York City Bus). Every now and then, this batch of XD60 buses erroneously spots flashing blue lights to either side of the front destination sign. These blue lights were previously used on Select Bus Service (SBS) routes to distinguish buses from local routes, but were left unused after January 2013 due to violations in New York State laws.
