Wow, what a way to end the year!! All the cool and thoughtful gifts show just how much you’re loved and appreciated by those around you. And to finish your X-Men run AND wrestle away (😂) a double cover? That’s a lot of good karma at once for someone who has earned it. Don’t listen to the noise of those who don’t like the direction you are taking your collecting and your channel. The spirit of the channel is alive and well, but it’s not feasible to continuously purchase cheap comics to keep the channel literal to the name. Spending more of that money in a direction you want to go and which honestly, may be better spent in the long term, does not mean you won’t be spending that “lunch money” amount at all on other comics. What collector can resist that random long box or two we all TRY to walk by that we see. As you say, collect what you love and thats what you’re doing. And we’re happy to be on the ride with you. Hi Mike, isn‘ t it great when friends and family support one’s passion for comics? My birthday is five days before Christmas, so I got a lot of great comics and action figures within one week. My wife said slightly joking, that my birthday table looked like as if it was supposed for a twelve year old boy instead of a 55 year old guy. But I don’t care about my age and am just happy to have such a great wife. Congrats to finishing your X-Men collection goal, y am very happy for you. Video idea: Maybe this 2024 you can travel to the West Coast and hunt for comics there. Or go South. Then in 2025 you can have the goal of travelling abroad to hunt for comics on the side when you travel with your family. The UK is good, Europe is good. Japan too! Or Southeast Asia! Find comics written in other languages! I found a RUclipsr who features comic hunts in Cyprus, Just search with the keywords "Cyprus comic hunting" and it's like he's hunting in a flea market too!

Did you know that Claremont did some OTHER X -Men runs later on X-Men # 281 starts one and he also did the run that introduces X -23 to the team. So, big-boy books now? So that means no more flea market hunting-trips? I enjoyed those so more Cons, then ? That could be fun!! Another odd idea: CEREBUS Has a character called oWolverroach who is a DID type guy and his alter ego is *Drum Roll*... CLAREMONT> 3 issues in the 50's range. Maybe you can find 'em while searching out those earlu X-Mens. Just a thought.. Been having fun watching your videos. The best ones were the comics truck vids and any time you hit the local Cons. Welcome to 2024 Mike. The crocheted Magneto helmet makes your Wolverine costume from last year look classy in comparison. Short, medium and long-term goals allow you to bring structure into your life and the important aspects of it such as comics. I'm not against buying expensive comics for myself (though not in the realm of X-Men #1 for example as I can't afford even a CGC 1.0 or raw equivalent); however, I very rarely do because I see how many cheaper comics I could get to fill so many holes in the PC for the same price as one copy of, for example, Daredevil #168. Thus, I've always made do with a reprint of that Daredevil issue instead.

Here's an idea to try and grab your Grails and still go cheap. Try to buy the grail by only spending $10 or less. Buy a book cheap, sell it and keep that cycle up till you can purchase the grail with the profits. Just keep selling up till you make the grail money
Definitely an idea I’ve been playing with. I want to try to do something like that at a flea market, trading things up to something big. But I did buy something for $5 last year that I sold for thousands so I’m already sort of on that journey

Great books,I finally got Chew#1 first print NM which is a hard book to find and now I just gotta get my last few grail books to finish my collection a Wolverine Origins #10,Primer#2, TMNT#1,Hulk#181, X-Men#1 1963, Amazing Fantasy#15 and Batman#1 1940 which is my goal for this year then I am done collecting.

But now I'm back in the dollar bins at Comic Kings here in VB. It's run by another great guy named Joey Boyack,Who has always treated my dollar bin dives as special as anyone who buys expensive items. If you're ever down this way you should catch him in store. Just like in Comics there are good guys and bad guys Joey much like yourself is a good dude.

Happy New Year Mike from George here in Virginia Beach. Watching your videos has gotten me back into the Hobby.I was picking up a few here and there at Thrift stores. But now I'm back in the dollar bins at Comic Kings here in VB. It's run by another great guy named Joey Boyack,Who has always treated my dollar bin dives as special as anyone who buys expensive items. If you're ever down this way you should catch him in store. Just like in Comics there are good guys and bad guys Joey much like yourself is a good dude.

Just had no much going on over Xmas really hasn't been the best year for us but we have had a baby boy through c section weigh 6.9 so I'm happy to was the best thing that's happend this xmas

Happy New Year, you are great I hope this year ends up like the last year well I hope I can collect as many books as I can this year but my new year started off wrong because my best female friend (my sister from another mother) died and I just found out today when she been gone for the last four months. My pain is hard she was a comic book fan as well its hard to stay focus when you been going through ruff times a bad year as it is.
