It's interesting to see Michael use so many effects on the bg vocals. I mean, the dude sounds awesome on his own. But the things he does in the bg just add another dimension to his voice.
Screw you Eyal. I was just sitting here crazy hungry, about to go cook something to eat and then I saw this video pop up. Looks like I'm gonna have to set the dinner aside for around about 16 minutes
Good video. I've been scratching my head to figure out if this album is prog rock or prog metal. You said it's prog rock. How does one tell the difference? Also, is there a specific sub genre this current musical style belongs to within the prog rock/metal scene? I prefer this type of music to raw screaming, and don't know what terms to use in my search for more like-sounding bands. What other bands would you recommend that have a similar sound to The Contortionist (at least this most recent album)?
Would pay decent money for a Clairvoyant Synth edition
I usually compare Eric's work with Richard Barbieri's contribution to P.Tree. The textures and sound design are really deep, top notch.
11:53 is just breath taking.
Synth work is flawless, plus performance it's just so tasty and smooth, love it.

You don't need to shred when you play good melodies.
Thank you for working on Intrinsic. Blew my mind when I made that connection.
