great riding tip! make sure you don't crash on your face, crash on the side or the top of your head. I think a lot of people are forgetting the proper way to crash now a days, which can be very dangerous if not done correctly! thanks for the reminder!

+Ichiban Moto I had to go for tin foil in the end. Seems to work ok apart from the fact that I forgot to remove the visor and now have a mirror tint effect that blocks 99.9% light! Not great for rainy Scotlandshire.
Can't you just drill eye holes into the now opaque visor...? You could then use clear motorcycle assembly tape to stick sunglasses lenses over the holes in summer?

You have excelled yourself this time my friend, you will be inundated with requests from other people to rejuvenate there old helmets. I like to keep a clean helmet and often polish mine until I am satisfied with it, but I would never contemplate touching another man's helmet!

Could you do something similar with pasta shells? The very little ones you get? I have an Italian bike (Yamaha Veniciana) and I think a pasta helmet would look totally bad ass, pay tribute to the ingenuity of the Italian People, and also it would break up on impact to help protect my brains. What would you seal it with though? Some kind of carbonara epoxy?

In the UK, the open-face helmet is known as a piss-pot helmet. Personally I think open-face is more apt as after an accident where you might go head first down the road, doctors will also describe your injuries as "open-face"

I've been looking for some of the bad ass tools you have demonstrated on all of your videos. All I can find is the junk tools from Snap On, Mac, MATCO, and others. I need to know where to get the heavy duty screwdriver and that bad ass scissors you frequently use. For your videos, I will give you 5 stickers! hahahaha
see my video on how to make screwdrivers if you want to craft a set for yourself. my grandpa brought the vintage swiss diamond blade shears back from the great war. those are hard to find.

I use toothpaste to fill holes on my helmet and as the wind brushes past it smells minty

Is Methyl Ethyl Kacetone a compound known by the State of California to cause cancer?
If so, would it be safe to use in Oregon, or Nevada?
I am not aware of California regulations, however according to the MSDS sheet, the only thing you can not do with it is drink it or sniff it. Or touch it. Or put it in your eyeball.

Sorry Ichiban I don't actually own a half helmet. I just thought it would be cool if you could take a half helmet and turn it into a modular. I'm sure it would meet all DOT specs! Black flake with a silver race stripe down the middle would be sweet!

You said your using hair spray as glue, how ever you have a can of some kind of Rustolium paint, and thos flake is not aluminum foil.
For extra protection use epoxy and dip in that cat box of yours

That is so cool! Saw a Harley owner the other day with the required open face helmet,sunglasses and bandana. The only thing missing was the required beard! I suppose she could buy a stick on one? Then I get to thinking,if you could buy with your bike a pre made Harley face attitude it would save so much time. An open face helmet with built in bandana,sunglasses and beard? Pop it on and instant bad ass! A matching set of slip on tattoo sleeves would save pain and money and make image and lifestyle changes easy!,gloves with built n rings? What you think? we have thousands of "RUB"s riding Harleys around here on the weekends... all dressed up in black leather pirate costumes. I would say you are on to something here , there is a huge "Rich Urban Biker " population to market to.
