I consider Matt to be one of the great snack and nap aficionados of our generation… Your lack of appreciation for casual beverage sipping is surprising to say the least 😂. Nice lookin room though!
i know right? i was considering renting and driving my 7 cars down there for a week until he made that comment that "we drink in the kitchen because we're adults" totally lost me.
Dude hell yea thats a great addition iv been a motorhead/automotive enthusiast my entire life if id ever be able to go to destination OG id probably never want to leave you guys have killed it and adding that sick sim definitely great addition
Incredible system for any car enthusiasts, let alone someone that sim races full time. So to start out with this is just amazing! I watched the installation videos & it's quite the unit. Keep at iRacing, it'll pay off. Other sims are fun, but for multiplayer & the level of competition, nobody beats iRacing. Also loving the Asetek base & wheel. I've been using Fanatec for years but you can't go wrong with Asetek, Simucube, or Simagic etc either. All I can say is enjoy it & have fun! I look forward to future updates. 👍
This is like my dream home. I've got a fanatec sim but it doesn't hold a candle to that P1 ultimate. If I "borrowed" Destination OG I'd probably be on that sim 80% of the time. Just don't let some doof break or mess it up!
Love the rig btw really well thought out and the cable management is incredible. There are two other sims you need installed though, or one of them at least. American Truck Simulator and/or Euro Truck Simulator 2. Both made by SCS Software and are truly the most relaxing games I've ever played. Keep up the great vids.
Thanks allot for going through the tour of your room and SIM Rig. I can only "in my dreams" think about getting one of these Podium SIM Rigs (even the lower cost setups). I do VR so the Triple screens would not be necessary for me, but the Triple screens do look awesome. The thing I really like is the motion Rig and how these devices interact with the Racing games. Thanks for your great videos on the Podium Rig. Take care.
I've got a similar setup, not as high spec but 50 inch triples and I put a black cordite roof over the screens which made a huge difference to the immersion instead of looking up and seeing that you're in a room.
Great addition to DOG Helen! Might as well order the tray accessory for the Valencia seats so guests can eat greasy hamburgers AND drink from their 32 oz cups filled with blue soda.
I love the new setup. ACC is easier for people starting out. You always go with the best right off the bat I should learn from you but I start cheap then have to rebuy the good stuff lol
Hey Matt, I have agood bit of land .25 miles from Road Atlanta. What's your thoughts on Destination OG RD ATL? Land, Home, and Room to develop with growth.
IRacing manager will be able to start all your other software at the same time. Also I’m a little surprised they didn’t include a small keyboard table as that little mouse and keyboard thing looks awkward
You should have put the rear seats on a step up. Maybe about 8”-10” off the ground. The people in the seats would have a better full view of the screens.
Make sure you let people know. Also might put it as a disclaimer in contracts, when renting the place out; The wheel is not a toy and you can break your wrists and fingers.
RTX 4090 is the top dawg of PC GPU's. It's leaps and bounds above the last generation 30 series (which was also an insane upgrade). Just make a note that it can generate some insane amounts of heat, I know you mentioned the AC is strong, and I don't know what type of cooling solution they have gone with, but it might be worth having someone run some benchmark software on the computer to see what it will be like at full tilt. Insane setup, "Destination OG" is turning out even better than one could imagine
There is a reason why I have what I have. P1 Podium guys can get me whatever they want. This is what they chose for themselves and by proxy what would be best for me.
@@ObsessedGarage hi Matt! The guys at P1 are great. Just curious if they knew you really well I can't see how Active-Pedals and SC2 PRO is not present. The HE ultimate plus pedals you have are world class. The Asetek base and rim I'm not so certain of. But love the room! Welcome to iracing!!!
@@helmetculture Asetek bought the IP to Simucube two years ago for $10M, and developed a much better wheelbase. For all intents and purposes, this is a Simucube wheelbase but with modern tech. The reality is, Simucube software is 5+ yearts old and thus so are the components used. Asetek is a multi-9figure company who's been developing PC components for 30+ years and thus we end up with a much more refined product than anyone else in Sim racing. When it comes to Simucube Active Pedals, we have them on the way but other than the few units we have coming they're impossible to get ahold of, and they're also $6k+ for a pedal set. Likely only the brake pedal is needed.
I've got the equivalent of this setup without the motion and huge monitors put together myself with three 32 in monitors and I have spent $6k so far. Next is motion and bigger screens. Very clean setup though bro. The stream deck took me 5 minutes to setup like you have it. Sounds harder than it is.
If you want more immersion turn off camera locked to horizon & lock it to the car instead, will stop the cockpit on the screen dancing around independently from your wheel
Next time you’re on the sim go to settings on iracing and change the shift aid to ‘auto clutch’…you’ll love the change. You’ll have to blip the throttle on downshift…which will force you to change to two feet. Promise it makes experience way better!
No chance I would spend 52k for a sim race set up I would rather get a super bike and go to real track but in your case it can be justified cause you will be making money from it otherwise would not make sense in my opinion unless money is no object that’s another story well done sir
Freaking beautiful!! But oh Matty. Mr guys guy and using automatic? You should be ashamed of yourself :) You need to really redo that Elgato though for the guests. Push button1, push button2, etc... Have them or someone on your team create a script file so instead of launching the individual components you launch a script. So if you have a button on the Elgato for iRacing, instead of linking it to the iRacing executable you link it to the script where it launches each component in order for you. You can check if processes already exist and skip those steps. Have a script for each racing game where it's one single button instead of multiple. So much easier for people that rent the place and have no idea how to get everything running. Nice job on the setup.

Yeah, weird philosophy. I’m 41 and I’ve never heard another “adult” say that they only drink in the kitchen.

Craaaazy. Good job!
We need some Obsessed Garage HQ in Europe.
Destination OG at the Nurburgring haha
Another daring leap by Matt….with a fantastic result. Awesome entertainment room! 👍
That is an absolute amazing simrig . What I would give to have something like this . Congrats man looks absolutely phenomenal
Awesome set up! Brake with your left foot... works buch better when you start trail braking which is what you need to do to be fast in iRacing.
I love how clean it came out!
Great rig Matt. Couldn't see a kill switch installed which I'd expect and would recommend for that kind of rig.
Great set up and video! Matt, cool small shoutout to R&L carriers, my dad is the safety director + out of knoxville. 😊
We need a Rivian Wash and Talk with a freshly-shaved head Matty. That’s when he is the most aggressive and funny.
Great addition to DOG Helen! Might as well order the tray accessory for the Valencia seats so guests can eat greasy hamburgers AND drink from their 32 oz cups filled with blue soda.
Ha, ha... Screw that.

Hey Matt, I have agood bit of land .25 miles from Road Atlanta. What's your thoughts on Destination OG RD ATL? Land, Home, and Room to develop with growth.
You get the best people sliding in your DMs. That looks awesome... The kind of setup you'd pay 10 dollars to use for 10 minutes.
IRacing manager will be able to start all your other software at the same time. Also I’m a little surprised they didn’t include a small keyboard table as that little mouse and keyboard thing looks awkward
A spectacular set up. Great job!
Have you tried out our car mods? We have the largest high quality collection of virtual cars!
You could put wireless chargers in the cupholders to avoid drinks and allow folks to charge their phones. Win-Win!
You should have put the rear seats on a step up. Maybe about 8”-10” off the ground. The people in the seats would have a better full view of the screens.
I think Matt needs to order the new Simucube Active Pedals to truly have the best on this insane sim rig.
If they were the best, I would have them.
They are and you dont
Hey Matt what you think about the new 911ST? Should try to trade in the touring for one if you are somehow able to get one.
I’m pretty sure I’d sell my soul for that car. I wish….
All I have to say is........... I LOVE IT!
hey man, great setup..may i know what is the span of the room? - monitor to monitor
The room is 11' wide.

Everything was thoroughly tested and running optimally.
have you gotten over the motion sickness?
Place to order the LED strip on the rig? Nice intergraded beside the gearshifter.
it is really nice setup. Please get rid of racing line and learn to brake with your left foot ^^
a racing sim as a give away would be a sweet thing!
Yeah, really don't know how Matt ended up with asetek and not simucube.
Who was selling him this stuff? Why did they not put active pedals on?

You said that was about 50k from podium? That could be built for less than 15k retail.
You have to try VR with the new pimax crystal, its insanely good especially if you have a motion rig.
Need a new it-tech i see? 1 memory stick!? or only one that's RGB working on?
It's running 32GB of ram in dual channel.
This is SICK!!
Matt is really living all of my dreams
One word: awesome.
If you want more immersion turn off camera locked to horizon & lock it to the car instead, will stop the cockpit on the screen dancing around independently from your wheel
Supprised that they dont have simcube base and pedals if you go all out🙄 Asetek would be my 3rd choice as a "highend"
You should make those rear seats elevated to see over the driver.
Are those monitors the Samsung ARK 55"?
They are.
If I had this I would never leave this room. Day and night racing. And where are ur gloves sir
Nice setup!
👀 Hey Man...Thats The Christ Jesus Sim Rig PC Setup
What keyboard did you use?
It's the Mini X8 keyboard from Riitek.
Simucube active…best pedals on the market. One foot on brake, one on gas. Can’t one foot it if you want to do competitive laps! It’s not lady lake!
I’m not a SIM nerd.

Dbox? Seriously? 1.5” of travel, compared to 6” of travel with Scorpion Actuators? For a fifth of cost?
very good 50k imo

I don’t give a crap what people want. If it works for me, it will work for you.
I have a man cave like this but my sit are not as good looking end as expensive as his one .... man they are beautiful .....I have bigger screens 65"
MURAD form Toronto 🇨🇦👌👋🤘🏻
assetto corsa is probably a better option for people who don't have an iRacing account.
You should break with left leg.
Those $300 Logitech speakers tho 😢
We are working on that.
Don’t let matt see Simucube active pedals and Gsi steering wheels.
He's got a GSI steering wheel coming ;). Active Pedals on the way too.
More to sims that just iRacing
Удивляюсь как вы еще центральный монитор не разбили 😂
50k 👀
I can go actual racing for 1/5 of that hahah. So not worth 50k!!
“We drink in the kitchen, we are grown ups here” get over yourself pal, switched off once you said that, bye bye
Ha, ha... It's my house, my rules. That's how the world works.
@@ObsessedGarage gotcha 😉
50k???????? ripoff man...
I spent $30k and my SIM is way better than this little thing.
What are you using for your simulator?
can't imagine matt using that sim rig anymore than he uses his mountain bikes lol
