Let me be the nerd. The Song is not in the Hobbit to my knowledge. Its in the book version of the fellowship. Furthermore there is a version by Eurielle that has something to do with the movies, but this arrangement is by a fan group called Clamavi De Profundis and its amazing.
Yea, it's crazy how dark he makes his voice when he goes super low. His newest cover Folsom Prison Blues actually has some subharmonics and it's amazing
What I love so much about this version (and it's original composition by Clamavi De Profundis) was that you, of course, the very deep bass voices....but they didn't forget to have higher, more baritone verses suggesting some younger dwarves (Like Fili and Kili) might be singing verses as well.
Geoff Castellucci released his version of Song of Durin last Friday the 20th. The dwarves are back and they brought a friend. It's absolutely fantastic
Colm tells people that his name should be pronounced as if it were spelled "column." I don't know if he means to say it as "coal'-um" or "call-um." He does mean that it's two syllables, other than one. I could listen to him (and/or the other two) for hours an end! 😀 ...and all of his instruments...wow!!! Then when Caleb Hyles joins them...WOW! Thanks for another great reaction. 😀
This song was composed by the group Clamavi de Profundis. Could you check out their song "The Battle of Sauron and Finrod Felagund"? It is epic! It is also a poem written by Tolkien himself, like the one you just heard.
I have to say when I hear a bass singer I feel like a DRAGONSLAYER is among us BUT IN THAT SONG those 3 DRAGONSLAYERS summoned a Dragon and that Dragon starting to scratch earth's core like saying "Smaug where are you hiding buddy I heard you want a fight"

There isn't a bad song in the entire series, and the goblin songs require good basses. They definitely did this justice. Thank you for this!
Gimli sings this in The Fellowship of the Rings. These 3 guys did it total justice. Long live Durin the father of the Longbeards!!!
I still weep listening to this rendition
Wow, I think I heard the earth quaking! Love this!
Absolutely wonderful reaction!
Wow. This is almost spooky! I can picture him in a tavern, surrounded by hobbits, singing this song.
Colms voice is actually like that. It seems fake, but its real

You looked like you were in a dream, with a smile on your face and head nodding left and right. Thank you for your getting emotional.

I'm trying to place your accent, are you from Cape Town by any chance?

Nice! Hello from Limpopo
Yeah, RUclips doesn't always give me your notifications. It's pretty annoying.
Tell me about it😅
@@EchoesOfEmotionReact I just did!
Same here, especially when Colm is also involved. I have to search for reactions to him every few days to find new ones
