Personally, I've never really understood the purpose of posting negative comments. If I find that I'm watching something that I'm not enjoying, I simply go and watch something else, it's easy really.

I look forward to your videos (a treat with Friday morning coffee!) and do appreciate your efforts in sharing personal flying in the UK. Your Jodel and John's RV have become familiar and comfortable "rides"; the flight around the clouds and above the beautiful countryside in this video was delightful.

Those who complained about not seeing a crash should take a moment to reflect on their motivations. Brush their comments aside and enjoy making videos for your own satisfaction. Its the only way to stay sane on RUclips. There will always be those who are relatively young and stupid. Personally I enjoy the fact that you and John are older people flying. It encourages me to know that fun and adventure isn't just for the young and it gives this channel its character. In this episode I enjoyed the virtual ride in the Morris, the look around the Jodel and the views from John's RV were really bordering on sublime.
Thanks for highlighting what you thought were the video's good points and I am glad you enjoyed it. The RV4 trip above the clouds was very special and pretty surreal.
I enjoyed watching "The Engine Stopped Here", main reason was I often go to Brightlingsea (to deliver scrap metal), listening to you too pointing out the landmarks was interesting. As for those who are small minded they will move on in time, Carry on flying and keep the videos up, I keep a eye out for John in his Morris.
You have a lot of viewers when there is the word "crash" in the title. Many will be disappointed not to have seen a crash I suspect, hence the dislikes. You don't need the disaster tourist really. It 's all about the happyness and not about the occasionally "drama" when things go wrong as they sometimes do in technical systems but John was expierienced enough to deal with it. Anyway I like the "geriatric old people" to enjoy themselves and broacast the special glare of aviators luck that makes it all worthwhile. Please keep up the good spirit to put all this work in making video's. I wish you a nice 2019 with health to about for you and yours (including the Jodel)

The disappointment and sadness in your voice is quite apparent. Please just try to ignore the negativity of these people. I personally look forward to watching your videos each week. I hope this will not discourage you from producing them. There are a lot of us out there watching them and enjoying them, knowing the time and effort that goes into producing them. Some of us really appreciate that. Keep up the great work.

Hello Tim At the moment I fly a paramotor but I find I can't run like I use to (71) so I am in the process of switching to a flexwing. Watching your cool relaxed flying ability has inspired me on and I have learnt a lot about radio communications, what to say and where, because now I will need a licence on the flexwing. Got to get the old grey matter working again. Please don't get down about what the morons that post on here because without people like you showing how relaxed and enjoyable flying is we would not know what goes on in the cockpit and what fun can be had, Cheers.

Hi Tim, from one old fogey to another, lol! As a person who logged on to that 'Stopped Here' vid, I can probably enlighten you as to why some people disliked it.... as a pilot, I am of course always looking to learn from others (and often the close calls of others!) so I tend browse for YT vids which can help me benefit from mishaps. Often I'll put something like 'Emergency landing, Engine stopped' in the search box to see what comes up. When viewing your vid, expecting to see an Emergency develop and a forced landing in progress, all that happened was - at some point in the vid - your friend saying 'It was about here that my engine stopped' - and that was that apart from the thumbnail at head of the vid which wasn't actually representative of any of the content (apart from that sentence) so I and many others who were led to it from a search box felt it was a misleading video title. Didn't give it a thumbs down though cos I usually enjoy your content! :o)
Don't worry about the negative comments. The only people who were disappointed were those to watched the video to see you crash. They don't deserve your worry. Your integrity is intact.
Tim there exists, sadly, a too-large group of voyeurs who just revel in the misfortune of others. You can see them as they drive slowly past road traffic accidents. I guess they were disappointed that there wasn’t 360 degree video coverage of Johns predicament. Sad Sad people as others have said just ignore them. Keep up the good work, you inspired me to buy a share in Jodel G-ATJN last year.
Hi Tim, interesting vidio!! I for one choose to watch your video's because I enjoy the way you put them together, they may appear to be somewhat amateurish but to the trained eye they are not. It is this raw form of production I personally enjoy, free from corporate interference. Unfortunately we have brilliant media platforms that 30years ago would of been a thing of dreams, even to the the professionals in the media. Now don't get me wrong, I applaud free speech but some of the contence I understand that is received by bloggers from so called trolls is unacceptable and can and does cause real concerns and much worse. Unfortunately these people's passion in life is to hurt and intimidate, I can only assume they are suffering from some kind of mental issue. Like with most bullies, once they know they don't intimidate you they move on to find another victim to prey on. Carry on as you have been doing, I for one appreciate the time and effort involved in producing a weekly video.

I just want to know what make and year the car is. As for the rest, I’ve been a subscriber for a couple of years. There is an issue on RUclips about clickbait and your last title ran into that issue. It wasn’t intentional. Cool. So get on with it. I don’t know why you want to continue the discussion, and I stopped watching this video at 06:56. I’m looking at a computer screen as it is. The computer screen prior to 6:56 was for those who asked for follow up to last weeks editing video but I can see why some people may want to turn off at that point. I did end with nice flight in the RV4 (12:09 to the end 18:05)
