I fly for fun and basically record for my own interest and review but upload because a number of people suggested that I should. I do try to edit for enjoyment and story telling and this means that some content is not always included.

Lovely to see you and John having such a good day at Old Warden . Matt’s aeroplane is a type I’m not familiar with , certainly not here in Australia anyhow . I’ll be back on “ proper “ time in the UK as of 22nd October , my Mum is 95 yrs old on November 8th . My best wishes to you Tim and your family also .

Old Warden is definitely on my list to visit, but I'll probably do that flight from New Farm. Thanks for taking us along Tim.

I didn't feature any of the museum or the nice Swiss Garden in this video but they are there in the playlist search if you are interested. It is well worth the visit if you get the chance.

Old Warden has been a constant throughout my life since the early 60's. My father used to fly from there during the 60's/70's - BA Swallow G-AFCL and then later Jackaroo G-AOIR. I flew in both.

A nice little visit to what looked like a day when Old Warden had a good amount of visitors. A good variety of aircraft too, from the Tiger Moths, the "Royal" Chipmunk and everything else. Matt's 'Sportsman' looks like a good aircraft for touring around. I think the trip did you and John some good. I hope you don't have any more issues with the kitchen extension, nothing unexpected underground like the tree roots you wrote that you had.
    All the best.

The trip was good for John and a nice little jaunt for the both of us. Footings now in and walls ready for the block and beam floor that the building inspector is insisting on.

Nice vid Tim and ye Jodel is looking fine. Love the big open paddock Aerodrome Old Warden looks brilliant. A bit of news I have been quite ill since 2019 with biblical pain. Have been taking some pretty severe drugs Morphine etc. Well couple weeks ago I slept for around 28 hours straight for what reason who knows. On waking up no pain mmmm thought was bit weird but 2 x weeks on still no pain. Saw Doc yesterday he said buggered if I know. I am on road to getting back to work which he decided will be from Jan 2024. Mainly to see what happens and for the drugs to vacate said persons body. The bigger news is he is quite happy to re issue FLIGHT MEDICAL how good is that. Have to meet some lines but hey I can run with that. I am also going for Heavy Transport Medical as well which means Flight Medical is a Formailty. Sooooooo slowly looking around for a Jodel. have my eye on one which comes with Speed brake. Which will be good as it would make coming down from 9000 ft over the Mountain eaiser it would mean remain at cruise to stop shock cooling the Speed Brake would be excellent. Of course this all goes between restoring a 24ft Launch and replacing engine which seized in my Landrover and yes am pacing myself. Anyhoo be well Fly lots.

Thanks for sharing Tim, I met the red chipmunk a couple of weekends back at Charlton park fly-in, apparently king charles flew that very same one. Anyway i digress, thanks again, has john found himself a set of wings yet? PS, did you know that Skydemon has the "departure arrow" the wrong way round for Nayland?
