Brilliant! The fact that it was so realistic . No Hollywood makeup or lights. This could actually happen. I can 100% say I would never ever even open the tin in the first place. Haha
normally a small box is ignored.no body takes care.even found some instruction inside is ignored and taken as someone's joke.why he became so curious and went there is surprising
This was really well-filmed! I liked how the music ratched up the tension. Wow, that was one stupid guy lololol....I would have left that note & key & dashed off! But this was a unique horror-short film, for sure.
It would have been much more realistic if you had shown the man yawning in the beginning or smthing which will show that his curiosity was due to him being bored and not having to do anything this way it wouldn't have looked that strange to follow a note you found in random place Btw sound effects and camera work is great
I forgot to mention that it also leaves some viewers thinking initially (at least I did) that if he’s that curious or that his greed as overriden his common sense, that he deserved it. Only for a second I thought this though. As shortly after, I was left with a sickening thought: who is the monster here? I love these types of films.
Was a film student way back in college. Looked like Maine or New Hampshire, interesting approach. I didn't know how it was going to end but I didn't expect a religious overtone, well shot and curiosity plays its part!
FIrst off, I would've just ignore the box under the bridge thinking it was just trash and move on. Even if I did retrieve it and open it and found a note with key, I still would've just thought it was a gag and discard the whole thing or..............take it to the police station.
Great piece of cinema. The pace kept me going. As for the foolhardy finder of the key and note, dumb is what dumb does. No way I go further than opening the box. Not sorry.
Love the shots and the creepy soundtrack, it goes with the Christmas winter look. Just a dumb character though that follows unrelated actions, could’ve gone another direction after he delivered the note and key, but overall pretty great film.
Well done. Ok, but who in their right mind would actually go along with this? Not just into a stranger's house, but down into a dark basement?
One always goes down into the basement in a creepy movie. Mandatory.
SUCKERS are very willing!
@@williebeamish5879 of course. Lol
Maby not you or me , but lots of people would 😳 that was a good short flick & a great name for it too 😭👍
Curiosity
Great way to show how "Curiosity killed the cat!"
the only free cheese is in the mousetrap
Yikes! They just waited for any random person to find the tin, come in and get killed. Tense and scary! Great job!
Brilliant! The fact that it was so realistic . No Hollywood makeup or lights. This could actually happen. I can 100% say I would never ever even open the tin in the first place. Haha
Only an idiot would actually go to the address from the get go let alone use the key if they were stupid enough to attempt the trip 😕
normally a small box is ignored.no body takes care.even found some instruction inside is ignored and taken as someone's joke.why he became so curious and went there is surprising
Good flick! But I have rules, never go down into a basement when the light switch doesn't work LOL!
good rule to follow

I'm not that curious, survival instinct alerted!
What a stupid man! It's funny.
The plot is simple, but the atmosphere is cool)
Don't let curiosity get the best of you I guess lol. Thanks for the comment
4:15 WTH is with this guy?!! lol Joke or no joke, evil or no evil....he is still trespassing! Leave the key & the note & get your ass outta there! LOL
Absolutely drew me in. The ending is breathtaking! More, please.
Yes this was good but he was crazy for going in the house
Well done. No question, a cautionary tale about dark basements. I liked it.
It was actually just a badly placed Geocache in the end.
That’s the first thought that came to my mind. Lol. Plus he forgot to leave something. Guess that’s the price you pay. Lol
Really enjoyed this video. Short horror stories/videos can be quite a challenge compared to long drawn out ones. Best of luck on your next one.
That was brilliant! I loved the shots and music. More, please!
Very cool short story! The fiancee and I were definitely spooked!
Great job! Keep them coming!
I really loved it! maybe a teen would be a better fit for falling into curiosity... Nonetheless, you guys did a great job. Keep going!
Holy shit thats amazing! I love the sound, your amazing shots and angles. Love to see it
wooo thanks,
@@producer-san such a lovely location…can I ask where? (I think the location is as much of a character as anyone in the film, beautiful)..
When he turns the key in the lock, the music certainly adds to the suspense. Nicely done.
Loved the music, from one of the classic horror movie, The ending was terrific, the perfect gift, eternal life with God.
Great job.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.

Nobody in there right mind would fall for this lol
you're probably right lol
The desperate people might.
Minimalist low-budget black humor. My favorite, Drill Sargent ; ) !
Bruhhhhhh!!! If there's no $$$ in the box..throw it back!!
LOL...right!!
Well, okay. The music was really loud and distracted from the narrative. This probably would have been more effective if it had been totally silent.
You know when you're watching a scary movie and you say to yourself. "Don't go down in the scary basement!" Well this is why.
But he had a cell phone. We saw it. It was how he found the plastic container. Why wouldn't he use the phone's flashlight in the basement?
I laughed out loud ad the ending. It felt more like a looney tunes gag than horror. Or a Joan Cornella comic.
"We all want to go Heaven! But no one wants to die!"
The "voice" sounded like the narrator of the Christmas Story. Well done!
big man out here making master pieces
Love the music to add to the suspense. I had to watch until the end. Good suspense

I grew up in NH and i agree, it defintely looks like NH or Maine
It kind of reminded me of upstate NY
Read in the comments it's in Dundee Illinois ..beautiful non the less
Great atmosphere, loved the music, really added to the mystery of the story 😱
As a Realtor I always wonder why I go into dark basements alone. Half the time friends and family don’t know where I am…
Perhaps it may be a good idea to start doing just that.
Don’t go in you fool! Damnit...
A real Head Scratcher.🧐
*What a killer short!* 👹👍🏼
"If it looks too good to be true, it probably is." Yikes!
Excellent...like Oliver I want more..
Loved the mean little slap-in-the-face ending
great story line, loved the video quality, definitely kept it interesting!
Simple, Straightforward and Brutally superb Ending. I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing 🙂👍🏽
Well shot - but who in their right mind would follow such instructions?
This is why a person should travel with a dog...for common sense
FIrst off, I would've just ignore the box under the bridge thinking it was just trash and move on. Even if I did retrieve it and open it and found a note with key, I still would've just thought it was a gag and discard the whole thing or..............take it to the police station.
Qual o problema desse cara deixa a chave e carta e "pica a mula"
Não devemos entrar em casas q não somos convidados...
Adorei 😍👏
Well done. We enjoyed the character's realistic reluctance to give in to his curiosity.
Nice job. Love the soundtrack, very fitting. Was this filmed in the Midwest, Wisconsin- Minnesota???
Was this filmed in Dundee, IL on the Fox river??
Excellent job! Can't wait to see more!!
Wow good eye. Yes this was
@@producer-san Tell her she won a prize & send her a key! (I was waaay off, guessing PA)
Great little Shocker, Brilliantly executed,,,,,, No Pun Intended!
This is the horror version of a 419 scam. Excellent.
Fantastic! Loved it 😎
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
Shane F Well, there's a lot of people out there that are NOT
" in their right mind "
hey, great short film. i def wasnt expecting that. good job
Ah... curiosity killed the cat.
I guessed what he prize was before it was revealed! A great video. Thank you.
3:00 That would have been something I discarded PDQ!
Beautiful snowy scenery and disturbing sound. Certainly, men should be more cautious, but I understand the feeling of worrying about what's going on.
Crazy crazy
I like the idea, though, of a scavenger hunt style prize with notes. Maybe not all over someone's house, but around the city or something.
Curiosity always kills the Charles.

Anybody else notice the FedEx truck disappear?
Great job! I enjoyed it
Of course your going to bring a half dozen well armed friends with you...
Yes, police? I found this note telling me to open a random back door with a key to claim a prize. Want to check it out?
Great piece of cinema. The pace kept me going. As for the foolhardy finder of the key and note, dumb is what dumb does. No way I go further than opening the box. Not sorry.
Predictable from start to finish.
Very good. Thank you.
curiosity kills!!! nice short
Thanks
LOVE THE PLOT TWIST. DEFINITELY BETTER THAN A SHYAMALAN MOVIE 🔥
You're kidding right?
How to do you pronounce the title co-itus?
If you sit in the killin' chair you kinda asked for it.
Theres 8 minutes of my life I won't get back.
Your welcome 😂😂
Great story creepy
I would of, returned to sender, address unknown. No such person, no such zone. Lol
Amen
That was really good.
hey! thank you
dope film. I like the story line
Thanks!
Really great. Congratulations from Bogotá Colombia
This was very good!!
Creepy music sets the scene. Bravo.
Some would call this "murder". I would call this "social Darwinism".
I really enjoyed it!! The musicalization is great :) the guy wasnt really smart, but it reminds me of some kind of fiction. Great job!!
lol, he was a bit too curious I guess
Where was this filmed, it looks like a peaceful town.
This was filmed in West Dundee, Illinois. It's a nice small town
Reminded me a little bit of Nutley, NJ
Love the shots and the creepy soundtrack, it goes with the Christmas winter look. Just a dumb character though that follows unrelated actions, could’ve gone another direction after he delivered the note and key, but overall pretty great film.
Ol' Charlie shows the symptoms of someone suffering from decreased levels of vitamin Ohellno.
Uh, I could never be that curious…
I like how it’s shot, great job
Thanks! it was fun shooting
Where was this filmed?
East Dundee, Illinois
@@producer-san Thanks!
Well, people ARE actually pretty dumb. If you disagree just browse the news a while.
👌👌👌👌👌
Curiosity killed the cat.
It's hammer time
Haha, reminds me on MC Hammer "U cant touch this".....
good one :)
