    I'm here to give an explanation on XY! XY is a boy band and a band at the same time. There are 12 members 5 of them performs as a band 8 of them performs as a boyband. They sometimes promote separately depending on the song they release. If you check out their debut song called 'Crazy Love' that's where you get to see all of them performing together. (The boyband dancing whilst the band plays the music)

    Hi there. :) Nice reaction. It's not their best song in my opinion and I'm listen to them since many years, try songs "舌" (Shita) or "真っ白な闇がすべてを塗り替えても" (Masshiro na Yami ga Subete wo Nurikaete mo) from their newer stuff. And about similarity to Moi dix Mois, both bands are Visual Kei bands from the same subgenre called Tanbi Kei, and both are playing some symphonic metal, right? So similarities can happen. I can recommend you some other Visual Kei bands if you want, but I'm for the first time on your channel, tell me what music genres you like and I will recommend something nice. ;) Oh, btw, that what you were talking about Sono's vocal it's called vibrato, that vibration he's using.

    • @producer-san
      @producer-san 14 дней назад

      Hey! Thanks for watching and going into detail on a few things. I love Mantenrou Opera! and yes vibrato is what i was thinking lol. I listen to a lot of visual Kei bands and would love some suggestions. I typically listen to more melodic heavier stuff. I love bands like Rentrer En Soi, D'espairs Ray, D and more. So love to find more bands! I know a lot of bands so if you can find something i haven't heard that would be great!

      @@producer-sanOk. :) I chose some, hope there will be some bands you don't know. :D Some bands already disbanded years ago, I hope it's not problem Some rock and metal: - Dio (Distraught Overlord) - Carry Dawn (unfortunately they existed only 4 years, but have some great songs) - Deviant - Gallows - 黒曜日 - Ephemeral - Black Grow Berry - Morbus - Dimlim - Vanitas (disbanded) - Rorschach. inc - Watchmen (band's name without space after dot, but RUclips was deleting my comment because of that) - Amnesia - Nautilus (now Xelesiah with different singer, but I really liked their first singer, especially this song) - Azavana - 灰色の海を泳ぐホタル (they formed from Ashmaze. members and Virge vocalist) - ゼラ - Missa - The Gazette - Blinding Hope (you probably know this band, but it's my favourite. :D) - Archemi. - 崇拝 (disbanded) - Deadman - Follow The Night Light - Ganglion - Never Ever Again (disbanded) - Deathpair - Bondage - アヲイ - Requiem (disbanded) - ヒッチコック - サリドマイド - Lycaon - Aventure (disbanded) - ルルノネ - ほんの一部 - A (Anonymous Confederate Ensemble) - Sakura (disbanded, rock/metal band, but this song is ballad, really beautiful) And if you're interested to explore some Vkei from different genres, then I'm recommending these: - 梟 - BitterChoco (jazz) - 3470.mon - 九尾さん (kinda funky) - Kaya - Pourriture Noble live from Birth Of Diva (electronic music, there's not many older Kaya's music videos in good quality or even not really bad, so if it's ok, then check that live version, but if not, maybe "Taboo" PV, but the most unique is "Salome" in my opinion, but PV is only in really bad quality, Kaya's newer stuff is less electronic, "Rose" is beautiful pop song)

    The song is super catchy, so it’s a success from that point of view. Asaka is a great vocalist, who isn’t stretched very often, but her talent is there. Nagisa and Serina are top talent too. Asaka writes most of the music and she has a decent hit rate, if you’re in tune with her. I like their madder stuff, so Spoopy, Twinkle and Kick-Ass are good for me, but Cry Out is probably a better example of their overall style. Read the lyrics, they’re lockdown related. As for other bands, have you come across Hanabie and Mellows yet?

    Nemophila - "baby blue eyes" flower, "Rurikarakusa" in Japanese; grows in N-America and is appreciated in Japan (see "Hitachi Seaside Park"). The band was formed in 2019, originally as a "session" brought together by... Mayu - the vocalist (ex- Lipstick band); Haraguchi-san - (ex- HöLDERLINS band) bass, backing vocals, was Mayu's friend and colleague from Music College; Tamu Murata - drums, backing vocals, one the most respected session musician in Japan (countless bands), with also her own original carrier; she's also the wife of Akira Yamaoka, musician/composer, known especially for his videogames OSTs, in particular for "Silent Hill"; Saki (ex - "Mary's Blood" band for a decade, "Destrose", and others), she's a "young sacred monster" in J-metal) guitar, backing vocals, and... Hazuki (KOIAI "Dark Indigo" / Li-sa-X, Disqualia bands) - guitar, backing vocals; both, Saki and Hazuki have a lot of experience. Unfortunately, Saki left the band in march 2024, after the Budokan concert, thinking that her contribution was enough after more than 4-5 years, pursuing her - successful - solo carrier, and then she became a member of Like-an-Angel band. The band continues in the 4 members form, with Mayu starting to add guitar bits while Haraguchi-san's bass, and Hazuki's guitar becomes more prominent. Nemophila, with their self-declared "Jigoku no Yurufuwa" (soft and fluffy hell) general metal-rock style, made an amazing fandom impression during the pandemic, thru RUclips clips... ...so far about 50 Western/Japanese awesomely bonkers covers, and about 40 original, freakishly insane good songs (singles, EPs - including the JPURecords' Extended Edition of "Oiran", 3 albums - "Revive", "Seize The Faith", "Evolve"; EP - "Beautiful Days"). New album "Apple of my eye" for January 2025 (10 songs, containing the 3 from "Beautiful Days" EP). Discography, alphabetical order: 01. ADABANA - 徒花 - "Fruitless/seedless flower" 02. ALIVE 03. AMA-TE-RAS (Amaterasu goddess) 04. Another Story (ballad) 05. A Ray Of Light 06. Back into the wild 07. Beautiful Days (ballad) 08. Blooming 09. Breaking Out 10. Change the World 11. Creature 12. DISSENSION 13. Enigma 14. ENTEN - 炎天 - "Scorching/blazing heat/sun" 15. Fighter 16. GAME OVER (ballad) 17. G.O.D. - "Groundbreakers of Destiny" (first original song as 4 members) 18. Hammer Down 19. Hōzuki - 鬼灯 - "Demon Light" - "Winter cherry" / "Japanese lantern" plant 20. HYPNOSIS 21. Justice 22. Life (ballad - their "official anthem") 23. MONSTERS 24. Night Flight (electro-rock song, one of their firsts, used as half-time breakout) 25. now I here (ballad) 26. ODYSSEY (ballad) 27. OIRAN - "Courtesan" (their first original song, in february 2020) 28. OSKR - "OShiKuRa manju" (children's song-game of pushing outside of a circle) 29. PROGRESS 30. RAITEI - 雷霆 - "Thunder" 31. REVIVE 32. RISE 33. Rock’n’Roll Is? (an homage to famous rock bands/artists; the lyrics/melody and style of play are Easter Eggs) 34. Rollin’Rollin’ 35. Seize the Fate 36. Soaring ~to be continued~ (instrumental) 37. SORAI - "Autumn wind" (was supposed to be the original name for the band) 38. STYLE (rap-metal song) 39. <Ultramarine/Gunjō> - 群青 40. Waiting for you 41. YELL 〜軌跡〜 ("Kiseki - Trajectory", ballad) 42. ZEN ________ Unreleased songs on CDs: - Another Story... written during the COVID pandemic, with the purpose of lifting the spirit; performed only once on stage for a live stream at the end of December 2020... but - according to Saki - "it's part of 'Cheer to Art, Tokyo Project' (started by Tokyo Metropolitan Government to offer place for artists to upload their work...since all lives, concerts, events and exhibitions had been suspended, all venues had been closed"; was posted on RUclips, on this governmental channel: アートにエールを!【音楽 1ch】; although is no longer there, there are some reactions to it, just search "NEMOPHILA / AnotherStory". It's also kept on WebArchive: watch?v=WWSFd4N4pjU - Creature, Breaking Out... released only on Revive (It's Sooooo Nice To Finally Meet You!!!!!) Blu-ray; they are performed sometimes in concerts; Breaking Out... released during their first live stream in 2020, and Rizing Nemo in 2023; - Blooming... released only on the official Nemophila RUclips channel, and performed sometimes in concerts. - Ultramarine/Gunjō performed in the second part of the 19 June 2021 stream. - G.O.D. and PROGRESS are the first ones in 4-members formula, also unreleased on CDs, but an EP was announced of these two with a 3rd song, a ballad (who gives the title): Beautiful Days. ___________________________

    Yes, they used AI for the video, it's not a secret, that was the concept, given the message of the song, it's fitting that it's made with AI :) It's easy to forget this band has been around for nearly 20 years. Show me a band that has such a history and no two song of theirs feels similar to a previous one they did. OOR experiments with genres and isn't stuck to one particular field of rock, and I have no idea why some people re bothered by this. Why should a band always sound the same? and do the same kind of music/genre forever? To me, the appeal of OOR is that they are always fresh, always different, always adding something new, that they are not afraid to experiment with sound, with concepts, with vocals. Taka recently said he might even try to sing country music in the future. Why the heck not? Dude can sing anything, he has the skills. This is one of the best live bands I have ever seen perform, 120% energy and accuracy on stage, never a dull moment, never even as much as a note slip from Taka. Everyone is welcome to do it better than them. Especially nowadays with so many streaming platforms, anyone can make a band, upload music. We will see how many of them can fill up stadiums worldwide :)

      Yeah I love the band, and I'm happy for their success. And yes they put on a great live show. I saw them early on when they came to Chicago for the first time. Great stuff. I'm all for trying new things and doing new stuff. Not saying it's gonna work for everyone but as long as the band is happy that's great. I don't have to love every single song they put out. You can respect them and not vibe with their newer stuff. That's the great thing about taste in music, it's all subjective. I'll always check out music when they put it out. Doesn't mean I have to blindly love it because they made it. 😅😅

      Ed Sheeran has nothing to do with this song. Ed Sheeran has only ever had to do with one song of theirs and that's Renegade. Don't make it sound like he is a regular songwriter for OOR. Most of the new songs are written by Taka and various American musician friends of his, including Tyler Carter.

      @ you need to read. Ed Sheeran might not always be writing but he’s helping with the production. Taka’s bouncing stylistically on the lyrics and even composition.

      @@producer-san he didn't. He was a co-writer for the song Renegades for the Luxury Disease album. He performed twice with Taka so far, I think, once in Japan and once in London. For the latter, there is a fancam, but that's an OOR song and he was just a guest performer.

    I do agree that their older albums have some sort of magic in them. Also I do kinda get what you mean by they sound “American”. I feel like the song structure of their recent songs sounds more mainstream in a sense but I still enjoy them. To be fair delusion:all definitely sounds better live imo.

    • @Xia-hu

      it's deliberate, and Taka has already told this many times. They realized they cannot break through the invisible wall otherwise. J-rock as such a niche genre and due to all the prejudice and xenophobia, people are not accepting of Japanese rock bands on a larger scale. It would always remain a niché market. Their own agency told them they would not support their endeavors overseas because they didn't believe a Japanese band could attract enough people to fill an arena. Taka started experimenting with the American rock sound when they decided to break in the US. Like it or not, theí would not have succeeded without these changes. Now they just filled arenas worldwide and they have a better chance to climb even higher. It's their musical decision, people who don't like it, can still listen to their older music. I personally think Delusion_All is a huge banger, especially live, it was an incredible opening song in London this October, I almost wet my pants. LOL.

      @ I still very much like one ok rock no matter the changes in their artistry, and I agree they probably needed to experiment a bit to get a grasp on what international fans liked. Also u managed to watch OOR in live in london, that must’ve been sooo fun, i wish I could have been there 😩

    Okay, some more J-metal suggestions, some of which you might already know. As you seem to have a preference for mvs over lives I have suggested mvs with the exception of LOVEBITES as there is no mv for the suggestion. There is 1 visual kei band in there. Both clean and unclean vocals included. Broken By The Scream - Haruurara mv ruclips.net/video/hr4b10Rhf4E/видео.html Hanabie - L.C.G mv ruclips.net/video/1unAr05MRis/видео.html Lovebites - Break The Wall live ruclips.net/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/видео.html PassCode - FLAVOR OF BLUE mv ruclips.net/video/vuTaH8D5RzU/видео.html MAXIMUM THE HORMONE - SHIMI feat. She do not have deep screams (a.k.a. growls), its high pitch. But, this is not representative of her screams. It is processed here, which is very unusual for Nemophila, this might be the only one. Do some live stuff if you want to hear her screams better. You have already been recommended Zen. Its all screams, more or less. It is good, one of my favorites. One of their more popular songs is Oiran. But you can do almost whatever, they are all good, in one way or another. Ama-te-ras is fun, a nice vibe. They have also made a ton of (mostly classic rock) covers in the drummers rehearsal studio. They are actually both good and fun.

    You should have gone with your first instinct and clicked on Trident. They are one of the elite all-female metal bands in Japan, along with Nemophila, LOVEBITES, Hanabie, Hagane, Bridear and Fate Gear, as well as Band-Maid on the more hard rock side. The all-female metal scene in Japan is bursting at the seams with elite-level talent, and is one of the most prolific female metal scenes in the world. The male Japanese metal acts are great, too, but not half as interesting.
