- After breakfast at the Jet Room in Madison, we depart for a VFR flight home. Took a bit to get in the air as we were number 5 at the runway and they had F16's and airliners flying in as well. In this flight Jaime takes the controls for a bit while we were cruising home at 214 knots. :)

Love seeing the family flying. The kids will always remember the memories you’re making.
Thank you Christopher! :)
Watching the kid rubbing his eyes made me smile.
Great job in a crowded environment! Jamie was awesome at the controls. Quick story, Jay Honeck took me out to most of his local haunts in Port Aransas and we tried every type of drink imaginable on the night before my wife and I flew home. 440 nm flight home, I came over DFW @ 12,500 with about a 50 knot tailwind. As we crossed the Oklahoma Texas border, I had to get rid of about 7 large drinks worth of night before beverages, and a stupid cup of morning coffee. I asked my wife to take over and just keep it straight and level. After what seemed to be 2 minutes of "relief", I looked up to a sobbing wife, who blubbered out "here, take it back, hurry up". We were at 12,500, straight and level and she was shivering with fear. From what, I don't know. I've never asked her to take the controls again. Excellent video, thanks for taking us along.
Ha ha...that was a really funny story Alan! It was cool that I know Jay a little as well. Sounds like you guys had a fun time the night before and a 50 knot tailwind is always a fun time in the air. I feel bad that your wife was so terrified but you prefacing that with the straight and level at 12.5 part just makes it humorous. :)
Nice job Jaime! Its so cool getting that she isn’t freaked out by it, especially when it’s busy! Enjoy your week
I agree Brendan....she's a cool customer. :)
My wife, Christine, has 3 flights under her belt in our C310R and asked about getting her private pilots license. Absolutely amazing seeing how she has been afraid to fly. We are having a great time and took our first overnight trip for Valentine’s Day. Thank you Kevin and Jaime for the inspiration. We love your videos. Keep them coming.
Awesome M C....congrats again on the bird and both your guys enjoyment! :)
Late the the show. First time I have sat down and tried to relax in a week. This was truly needed. Drove 650 miles today, made it home for a day or two. Been away all week dealing with loss of family member. Thanks for the escape guys, however brief it was.
Arch...we are truly sorry for the loss of your family member! Glad you were able to take a little mental break from that with us. Our thoughts go out to you and your family.
Hey guys. Great to see you're little buddy with you again. He's such a cute little guy. You guys are blessed! Be safe.
Thank you Robert! :)
Wooo oooo oooo Jamie's flying!!! (que the Van Halen music)...
:)
Hey, Kevin, thanks for taking us along on your return flight from Madison. Hope the breakfast was really good, and all 3 of you enjoy it. The little guy in the back is truly a well-behaved passenger. I’m sure you are a proud Dad, because he did so well. Jaime did an awesome job when she took over the controls. I was watching the instruments, and she did a good job of keeping the aircraft level. Boy, she is really good in the ATC communications, but it’s understandable, since you both do it professionally. You are an awesome family, and thank you for sharing your life with us viewers. I, and I’m sure a lot of others, as well, look forward to a lot of fun adventures in N771BC. As always, please be safe. Happy Flying, and Safe Landings.
Thank you Richard...glad you enjoyed the new video! We are very proud/lucky. :)
Busy Busy flight. Great to see your co pilot finally at the controls. Looked like she was killin' it. She must have a good instructor!! Another great flight. Thanks for taking all of us along.
Glad you enjoyed it Tom...I agree, she's a natural. :)
Well you have the prettiest co-pilot on RUclips. She looks very comfortable taking over for you. Once again a very well behaved young man in the back seat. Shows he has some pretty good parents. Love your videos. Fly Safe.
Thank you for the nice comment Dave! I agree... I'm a very lucky man. :)
You guys cheer me up, your teamwork and communication skills are enlightening. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome...glad you enjoyed it Terry! :)
Thank you Kevin and Jaime. As always, interesting to fly with you. Glad to see Jaime take the controls... finally. Hopefully it is with the understanding that although it may not be 'fun' at this point but it is a self preservation issue for her and all others on board if you become incapacitated AGL for any reason. She needs to know how to get the plane down as safely as possible. Glad to see she is seeing her responsibility role towards the family.
As well as she works the radio I thought she was a licensed pilot.
Kevin, Major Kudos for resisting the urge to name this episode, "Jamie Take the Wheel"... Super awesome as always. Thanks for taking us along for the ride! =]
Ha ha...glad you enjoyed it William!
Very cool to see her taking the controls. She seemed very comfortable. I got to to that in a 200 when I was 17. Of course we were at 19,000 and I had a pilot named Skip Shelton (artist, military pilot, great man) what a pilot he was. Skip was known at a lot of FBO's in the south east. He had a lot of art work hanging in FBO's all over.
Alright, fly it, Jaime! Next episode, first-ever lomcevak in a 310!
I love aviation, and I’m a big fan of the Cessna 310, which is what originally led me to your channel. But, as a single guy, I find it really sweet to watch you two and your family interacting in these videos. You’re good people!
Thank you Mike....glad you're enjoying the channel!! :)
Lomcovák in a 310... the mind boggles.
Nice to see Jaymi at the controls. I’d love to see you guys fly out west. Mountain flying is spectacular and the various destinations offer so much to see and do. Colorado is my favorite fly to place of all.
Glad you enjoyed it John! I can't wait to get out to Colorado one of these days. I've never flown that state but have been there several times to go snowboarding and love the beauty of the state. On of these days we will for sure head west!
@@310Pilot Mountain flying is serious business. I got checked out in a Citabria @ BDU once by a competetive Pitts driver. He told me he was the wrong guy to check me out for mountain flying. The winds and downdrafts are ferocious. I was out there afew weeks ago and the wind got to 85mph on the Rocky Flats. They had a airliner blow away from the terminal while disembarking at DIA!
I'd be cool to see traffic from our perspective. Always enjoy your videos. Good to see Jamie take controls.
Glad you're enjoying them James! Are you ATC as well?
310 Pilot no just a fan. I love aviation and your videos are the best. I appreciate your verbalizing the steps and procedures. I learn just watching.
Awesome flight guys! Good attitude flying for Jaime, instead of chasing altimeter and heading. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you...glad you enjoyed it! :)
Thanks for the trip guys! Seems like a well behaved young man back there.
Glad you enjoyed it Steve! He is very much so. :)
Hello from Agadir Morocco,Great Channel...not so much GA around here but the best scenery one can dream off...seeing more of the jet room would have been interesting...I replay radio chat from Jamie, she'd be great in giving hints and tips to be so fluent on the radios....Best regards...
Hats off to you once more.... As usual wonderful job. Till the next time... Hasta la veista baby.
Thanks Chris...glad you enjoyed it!!
My wife also won't touch the controls. Even though she's been an Air Medical Flight Nurse for 21 years... nice that she gives you a break. Love the videos
Glad you're enjoying them Todd! Jaime isn't fond of it either...I don't mind. I'm just glad she enjoys flying with me and helps with the radios/navigating. :)
Kevin, nice of you to give Jaime the opportunity to take the controls. She didn't seem to be enjoying it too much, so maybe she is best suited to handling the radios which she seems to enjoy ! Always enjoy your videos. Most importantly, I hope you get the heater back soon!
Love it as always! Way to go on flying Jaime! More than capable for sure.
Glad you enjoyed it! I think she'll be at emergency landing level in no time. :)
310 Pilot really important for the basics at least.
Good vid guys! Would love to see Jaime take the controls more often so I can learn vicariously thru her how things are done.
Glad you enjoyed it Wally! She will take over again I'm sure of it. :)
Well Done Jaime and just to say am hooked on watching you guys living the dream. Take Care.
Thank you...glad you're enjoying the channel. :)
Yea !!!!!!! Jaime took the controls. Another fantastic video. Keep em coming. Love it.
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Great job Jamie, glad to see y'all again, fine job flying back home Kevin-Jerry......Go Dawgs
Glad you enjoyed it Jerry....Go Dawgs!!
Thanks JnK, loved seeing the little one so calm in the back. Also as a transplanted northerner, I love to see the snow too especially when it’s record breaking heat here in FL. Hope you guys can come to Sun&Fun. A lot of RUclipsrs will be there.
Would love to say hi.

Glad you enjoyed it Ron! We will be down there. Make sure to say hi if you see us roaming around. :)
We love your work! I find it better than flying myself. You are so competent!
Awesome, busy traffic area... and Jaime is FLYING!! ✅ 👌🏼
Kevin you are “Most Excellent” in yer Instructor hat 👍🏼
Thank you Dennis...glad you enjoyed it! :)
I’m just Beyond Happy that y’all are (officially) back to work ✅, getting a paycheck & ALL that entails.... MUCH EZ_ier 👍🏼 to buy a new heater if ya have regular check coming in!
In my opinion it’s Always harder to fly the plane on the right-hand side. It takes a long time to get used to. So - it’s always going to feel uncomfortable over there. Jaimie’s practically a natural to be a pilot. She’s certainly got all the communications down. Hell - she practically wrote the language! Thanks for the ride-along. 😜
Glad you enjoyed it Stephen! I agree...it took me a bit when I became a CFI to get used to the right seat. Especially in a 310 as you are pretty far away from the primary instruments. She always does a great job whenever she grabs the yoke. :)
Kevin, Nice job on the video and congrats on the co-pilot giving you a break on the controls. I have not been able to get mine to give it a try yet. I will continue working on it. I listen to ATC live and they fly the F-16s in and out of Madison quite a bit at times along with some other military aircraft. Nothing ever seems to move fast when you have somewhere you have to be. At least you made 214 over the ground on the way home. Thanks for the work you put into these videos.
You're welcome Mark...glad you're enjoying the channel!! It's been a long time since my military days when seeing fighters flying around was normal. It was cool they were out and about that day. I'll take 214 kts any day!! :)
Great job Jamie! I was watching the altimeter while you were flying. You were holding +/- 50 feet. That’s ATP standards.
I agree! As soon as she got the sight picture down she kept it nailed. :)
@@310Pilot look at the money saved when you really dont need that auto pilot 😊😊
Its Friday, I hurry up to get home from work to catch this weeks episode of the Jamie and Kevin show. You've only been posted for two hours, and you already have 2800 views, and 62 comments!! Thanks for the ride, guys!!
Ha ha...glad to have you enjoying the channel Alan! Hopefully we can keep the weekly updates going. I have probably 3-4 more to edit and then I am caught up. Hope the plane finishes the autopilot upgrade so we can keep it going uninterrupted. :)
Hi Jaime & Kevin, another fantastic vid, keep them coming 👍
Stephen. 🏴
Awesome...thank you Stephen!
Got my debut radio cameo in at 24:16 and botched the call by forgetting the ATIS. It happens, more tower for me. :-). I was on my was back from an XC to VYS.
Glad we got to capture it James! Small world indeed. :) Hope you had a nice flight. We really enjoyed our return tailwind!
James, at least you enunciated clearly. 🙂 I'm not a pilot, but I still get annoyed when I hear pilots that sound like they're speaking while eating. It seems to me that, of all times that you want to be understood clearly, talking to ATC tops the list.
Another great video. Busy flight. And great job Jaime!
Glad you enjoyed it Randy!
The rearward views as you climbed out of Madison were really cool. Very neat perspective.
Thanks for the feedback Kelly! :)
Good job Flying Jaime I think it's only natural that you learn how to take the controls just in case of an emergency you seem pretty proficient in the cockpit as it is. Love the videos you guys hope you can keep doing them?
Glad you enjoyed it Robert! We will keep making them as long as ya'll are enjoying them. We have lot's of cool trips planned for the year...hope they all turn out well. :)
Awesome, glad Jamie got some hands on time, always good to have some kind of idea how it works just in case.
Glad you enjoyed it James! She has done it a few times before we started filming the flights and always does a great job with it. :)
As always great video. I love how you guys always manage to put something different in each video. It is like watching something new each time I see you two flying. Thanks. And thanks for the recommendation for the restaurant. I will be flying from near Winnipeg to Antigua/Baruba in a couple months and was thinking of using Madison as a stop. This video cemented that decision. thanks for all the great fun watching you guys. stay safe. HI ELY!!!
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the feed back! That sounds like an amazing trip! What are you going to be flying in? I'm sure you will enjoy the Jet Room if it is open when you guys go through there. That FBO doesn't charge a fee to use....very refreshing these days.
You GO girl. Always fun checking on the 310
Glad you enjoyed it Greg!
Good to see you guys--you all had one hellva tail wind---made easy on the fuel tanks!!! We are off to the start of Mardi Gras season here--first parade tonite--take care!!
Glad you enjoyed it Randall! Enjoy your celebration! We will for sure make it down there for that one of these days. :)
Open invite--anytime!!
Absolutely. She was already a pro on the radio, I always assumed she was a great pilot, also. So, yes, absolutely agreed to have her do some flying -- official learning, and or license, or not, -- as one just never know when the skills needed..., -- anyway. Love you guys. An honest, loving couple.
Thank you...glad you enjoyed it!! :)
Nice bit o flying there Mrs. Kevin makes it look like walking talking and chewing bubble gum easy. Landing like a leaf and even with a controller seemed in complete overwhelm. The difference listening to Aurora vs Mad City control way easier and she is handling what sounded like a busy day. Love the traffic alert system telling you, that was super cool. Watching you make the two turns to final while looking at traffic and completely what appears to be not watching the dash or cowl shows your experience. Entered and exited two 15s with such smooth precision that a hawk would be envious. Noticed too just as Jammie took the yoke, the left fuel was pegged. I had thought the electronic one was a convenience but cross check would be so comforting. Gonna take the kids to The Dells for a waterpark video this summer? I will be watching for that fun. Keep the good content coming thanks.
Glad you enjoyed the video! We are planning on taking the little ones to the Dells at some point this year. Had to drive last year with the crazy weather at the time...even driving was a struggle. The next long trip is down to TX and that should be up in a couple weeks then back down to FL! We are excited for the flying season to begin. :)
@@310Pilot There is a season?
I figure the laws of physics and fundamentals of flight pretty much are perpetual.
Maybe the Ionic plane would be seasonal once MIT perfects it for larger planes.
(notice sarcasm)
I’m adopting this couple. Didn’t know it would be so easy........and it’s all legal. Now I’m gonna build them a house !! 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice flight. Tailwinds are so awesome! Jaime was so excited to take the controls--she needs to calm down, ha, ha. ;)
Glad you enjoyed it Stan! Ha ha...little arm twisting was all it took. :)
Another flight with you guys! Thanks for the ride, looking forward to the next time. Tell your copilot howdy! God speed.
That landing at the end was Sierra Mexico Oscar Oscar Tango Hotel, SMOOTH!!
Best videos right here you guys rock Jamie is so quick on the radio very professional music is cool too and the 310 ain’t bad either
Awesome...glad you enjoyed it Steve!
Another great 👍 video. Love all the communications chatter. Jamie is a Pro at that. She needs to manipulate the controls More.
Glad you enjoyed it Paul! I agree...she'll take them over a little more maybe. :)
Thank you y'all from GA. Love these videos and thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedules to put em all together....
Awesome...thank you Chris! Glad you're enjoying them. :) Go Dawgs!
The perfect looking autopilot Jamie is!! Just shared it with my GF, and it’s created such a flap, since she won’t touch the controls.
Need to install those in every plane...😁

310 Pilot
Years ago a friend had a plane picked me up in JVL. We flew to Lone Rock WI for breakfast. When we went to leave Lone Rock we could see the big stacks in Byron from way up there.
I was shocked on that.
Sounds like you had one of those magical visibility days where you can almost see the curve of the earth. Love those days. :)
Always pleased to see that there is another 310 Pilot video waiting Kevin and especially when you are flying with the family. As I have said, mine are all grown up now but maybe the next generation if they didn't live so far away. Nice to see you both working together, Jaime's radio work is great and now she is flying as well! 👏 😊 The frequencies seemed very busy?
Thank you Tim...glad you enjoyed this one as well! It was one of those nice/warm (rare this time of year) weekend days where a bunch of people were out enjoying the friendly skies. :)
Love your videos. So relaxing because you make it look easy! Don't know if you're doing it already, but when my son was little I would have him wear earplugs under the headset. Helps cut out the noise, especially when they like to move the headset around or wear it on top of clothing. Thanks for posting!
Glad you're enjoying them R B! I don't generally do that but the 310 is actually pretty quiet with the props back in the 2300 range. I may look into that. :)
Amazing how you can keep up with all that chatter. confusing to the laymen. great video as always.
You can listen to air traffic control live on the web; after a while, you'll be able to follow it.
When you're in it every day, it's second nature. I've been away for 20+ years, and I still am comfortable when watching aviation videos.
I used to tell my instructor when going out for a BFR (Biennial Flight Review), that while my stick and rudder skills might be able to be touched up, my comms were beyond reproach as I was in the system every day.
I would love to learn to fly but I'm past that point fore but I love to go flying with folks allot. I really love watching these videos . Everyone has an "I wish" haha
If you're married it's easier. Trust me, you get used to ignoring what you don't want to hear.
Thank you Hoss...glad you enjoyed it! As mention, while it is a different language it becomes second nature when you live in that world every day. :)
Great ride-along nice to see the co-pilot flying, think she has been sandbagging us lol
Ha ha...she really just has no interest in it. This is probably the third time or so I've got her to take the controls. If she ever did have an interest...don't see it happening...she'd be a natural at it. :)
Kevin and Jamie I look forward to every video you have because I wrote in a Queen air at a parachute Center in Titusville Florida we flew over Titusville and let all the parachute jumpers fall from the plane and I was our observer it was fun I miss my flying guys and I look forward to every time you go up in your plane this video is very very clear and I really like it and you can get on up there I flew in a Cessna 206 with a few parachute jumpers in the back and always observer her for that we flew 13,000 feet in a Cessna 206I wish I had a video camera for that day that was really fun I really enjoy watching you guys keep up the good work I like it
Glad you enjoyed it William! Maybe one of these days I'll decide to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. Haven't had the desire yet but maybe... :)
Great Job Jamie, now you need to master the landing and then takeoffs in case Kevin gets sick when your out somewhere then you can get everyone home.
Ha ha...glad you liked it! I think just the emergency landing would be okay. Never heard of the emergency takeoff. :)

LOL, She Can Do It, You Go Girl, You Got This.
What? You never heard of an Emergency Takeoff? I guess you never watched the movie "2012" with John Cusack, although he was in a Cessna 340, not a 310. ;-)
great smooth flight nice to see jaime take over flying well done
Thank you Anthony...glad you enjoyed it!
Way to go Jaimie! Kevin, you haven't got Jaimie her Aviator sunglasses yet? My flight orientation was "Blue is up, green is down, pull controls back clouds get bigger, push controls forward houses get bigger" :-O Really enjoy the videos as always. Enjoyed the flight Jamie/Kevin! Jamie looked like a natural flying the 310! :-) Don
Thank you Don...glad you enjoyed it!
I had to laugh when you said, “it was bumpy down low, but it’s nice up here at 6500.” With the Malibu, I consider “down low” anything below 12,000. That said, I fly my Velocity between 8 and 12 so 6,500 would be “up high” when I’m flying her. Luv you guys! Keep the videos coming!
Glad you enjoyed it Jack! I prefer to cruise around 8-9 in our normally aspirated bird around here. Gotta get up to the thin air to enjoy all the Malibu has to offer. :) This was a short hop so I usually do those around 5-6. A Velocity and Malibu...wow...you've got a great selection!
Maybe one of these days we will connect somewhere and I’ll let you experience the Malibu. We are usually either in Maryland or down in Mississippi. We keep the Velocity in Maryland (and the Malibu in MS - in MS because my company’s Corp office is there). We operate a fleet of commercial power reactors located in 8 States between MA and Louisiana.
That would be awesome if it ever works out Jack...I'd love to see a Malibu in action first hand! Nice to have airplanes at both your spots so you can always escape the ground world. :)

Do I dare predict OSH '19 where you actually land at OSH AND get to stay? I know I've started thinking about our plans! The people at FLD were great (and it was cool running into you guys), but I'm looking forward to the N40 this year, so let's just plan on that. Lol.

Glad you enjoyed the video and it was cool to meet ya'll last year there! We are going and I feel good about having a spot in the N40 this year...fingers crossed. Jack Pelton/EAA is working hard to implement a no aircraft turned away policy there. Hope to see you around and make sure to say hi if you bump into us again. Are you going down to SnF as well? We for sure will put together a breakfast fly-in meetup this summer...thanks for the idea. :)
@@310Pilot No SnF for us this year. We are banking the vacation time to spend most of the week at OSH. That way, we can take our time and enjoy the whole experience. We talked about that party in the N40 last year -while I wasnt familiar with it then, if you are planning on making it to that same party, we'll probably be there with some local brews! In the mean time, we need our IO360 back from Poplar Grove. :(
Well... I don't think Jamie will be enrolling in a flight school... to each is own! I just installed X-plane 11 and flying the 172. It's awesome, no other word to describe it! They don't have a 310 though... take care!
Yeah, she does great with it when she has grabbed the controls but it's just not something she's really interested in. I'm kind of glad as she'd be stealing my piloting time from me. :)
Gilles Dumouchel, I have X-Plane 11 also and I've added the MILVIZ T310R. A great aircraft add-on. Probably my favorite because of watching 310 Pilot !!!!!
Bob S Yes, I'll look into custom planes. What I would like is a complex single engine low wing, like the Piper Arrow. Tx for the info on the 310.
If you fly in to Madison in 2 years or so, you'll be seeing F-35A's instead of F-16's. Truax Field (Madison) was selected by the Pentagon to be a new F-35 wing replacing the Air National Guards' F-16's on station.
Someone else just told me about that here. That's really exciting news for the ANG base there and people that enjoy plane spotting. :)

Glad you enjoyed it Smitty!! I know that I have to be close to 50/50 on tailwinds/headwinds just by how the world works but it sure feels like I've had more headwinds...that makes a 214 knot groundspeed that much sweeter. Too bad it was such a short flight...that kind of speed would make a FL hop nice and quick! We are very happy at the response to the channel so far...glad people are enjoying it. :)

Although your channel is worth watching just on the merits of the content, I have a special affinity having flown out of that airport quite a bit, and having lived in that town (Aurora, not Sugar Grove) for a couple of decades. One of the things noteworthy is the growth of the area since we moved away 21 years ago.
Bliss Woods is unrecognizable, Prestbury is unrecognizable, I noticed the pedestrian bridge over Rt 56 for the Gilman nature trail, which is new to me. Galena busier than ever. It's fascinating. And I don't miss it a bit.
I heard the "Alpha Lima" comment but didn't get the context. I know what it means, but I wasn't sure if you were going to take it after the lovely day out, or what. I had a coworker, Vince Volpe (and I think there's a Volpe intersection somewhere around there, named for him) who once had a big boat on Lake Michigan. He named it Sugar Lima, an inside joke most non-ATC people didn't get.
Thank you LRod! I always enjoy your history of the area and ATC around here! It's all grown quite a bit in my short 15 years here. I do love ARR's small town feel to be so close to the big city. :)
Great flight as always, Jaime looking to be your first officer maybe :) ... Cheers from Aussie
Glad you enjoyed it Paul! :)
Yo Kevin, once ya get over the “Leave a perfectly good airplane” jitters... it’s a helluva RUSH!! Mine: compliments from USAF.
Would be a helluva tandem jump with yer ‘Co-pilot of Record’ 👍🏼 😉
Nice flight as always. Awesome touchdown! My wife went through ground school with me, got her student ticket, and never really did much training in the air. I wish the bug had taken hold like it did with me.
Thank you...glad you enjoyed it! While I like the idea of her being comfortable in the case of an emergency, I'm glad we don't have to play paper/rock/scissors each flight to see who gets to sit left seat. :)
Come on Jaime time to take the plunge... Hoping to see your solo video one day!
Enjoyed the family flight! I can never understand why anyone would give this a thumbs down! Thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it Ron and thank you! You can't please everyone...especially on the internet. :)
Good video again. Keep them coming. A bit hazy wasn't it. I always flew after work so I wouldn't feel stressed to get back on time. I'm retired now so. Keep flying safe.
Glad you enjoyed it Gary and congrats on your retirement...I can't wait! I did my entire instrument rating at night after work when I was younger. Unfortunately, the only way for us to have a weekend breakfast flight is before work.
Nice job Jamie! Impressed how well you kept attitude and altitude. Nice landing too Kevin! 2019 flying adventures going to include a trip up to Bemidji? How about Sun n' Fun? We're kicking it around.
Glad you enjoyed it! We are going to try Sun N fun and OSH this year. We hope to make it up to see ya'll as well. Might have to be the fall colors you spoke about. :) Still waiting to get the plane back from the autopilot upgrade and then it still needs an annual in the near future. Hopefully we can get all this done in March and be ready to go by April 1st. :)
I'm working hard at finishing up my IFR ticket, been doing a lot of hood flying! Hoping to wrap it up in March and take a trip to Sun N Fun as my "happy that's done" reward! Maybe we'll meet up there. You guys are welcome here anytime, we flew up this weekend, greeted by more snow!
@@310Pilot I'm working hard on my IFR ticket right now, been doing a lot of hood flying. Hoping to have it done in March, then my reward will be Sun n Fun! Hope to see you there! We flew up to Bemidji this weekend, beat the snow by about an hour! You're welcome any time!!!
Good for your you Jaime, you two are the best.
Thank you Mustang Sally!
Great video as always, love watching you guys go on adventures! If you ever fly to Gillespie field (SEE) in California let me know, there’s a nice cafe there with pretty good food and a great view of the field.
Glad you're enjoying them Eric and thanks for the offer/suggestion! We will take you up on it maybe whenever we make our west coast swing. I remember the name of that field from all the King School videos I've watched...they seem to love showcasing that area. :)
Great video as usual y'all...sure would like to meet you two at Sun n Fun here in Florida...that's always a blast. Grace & Peace 😉😇
Glad you enjoyed it Kevin! If you see us roaming around down there be sure to swing by and say hi. :)
Way to go Jaime, flying and doing the radio at the same time ye ha! Next she will be taking off and landing ;) Such a cool and busy flight, can't wait to see what's next :)
Glad you enjoyed it Rab! Next is a couple quick trips to have the new heater re-installed and flight back home. Then Jaime and I fly to TX for the autopilot install. :)
@@310Pilot Can't wait to see that :)
Thanks again for another Great Video !!! ----Your neighbor in Iowa :)
Glad you enjoyed it Derek! We'll make it out there one of these days...if nothing else, maybe for some of that legendary white tail hunting you guys claim. :)
Great video as always, looking forward to the next one.
Awesome...thank you William!
Kevin, you and Jaime would do well in an Aaron Rodgers/Danica Patrick look-alike contest.
The videos are awesome! Keep up the good work!
Glad you're enjoying the videos Tim! Ha ha...someone else mentioned that to me before. :)
Nice flight again. Thx for taking so many along.
Glad you enjoyed it! Sweet looking Q you have there. :)
@@310Pilot Thanks! It's Ryan (based in KIGQ). Hope we can connect up soon!
Ha ha...you'd think I would have known right away from that drone shot. Remember seeing it on TTCF. :) Hope to see you soon. Still waiting to get her back from the STEC 3100 installation.
Got a New hat Kevin! TCAS is a wonderful Thing.
Still rep'ing my Dawgs though. :) I LOVE having on-board traffic. :)
I am extremely fearful of heights, watching you , Jamie and your family flying ( via cockpit view ) is amazing and the only way my ass will get off the ground... Keep on flying …...
We did the same thing once. While on a cross country, I asked my wife if she wanted to fly and she said “sure.” So, I said “your airplane” and she took the yoke. Then I said, see the water tower out there, keep it headed that way. She said, “what water tower?” I said beside the highway... she said “what highway? “. “I can’t see over the panel!” I said my airplane! 😂😂. We got her an extra cushion after that trip.
Great video guys! Thanks for sharing. 👍
Ha ha...sounds familiar. :) After she picked a point and got the sight picture on level flight, she nailed it. That's really cool your wife was willing to give it a go as well. Many people just rather be a passenger. Glad you enjoyed the video Harold!
