Same issue here. The reconnect option works for a while but I need to keep doing it after awhile. The network reset might be something I could try next.

These solutions don't work long-term. Why won't Apple address this? Countless users have been complaining for years, about iphones shutting down and greyed out wifi, way before IOS 17. I think its time for a CLASS ACTION SUIT,
This goes back to Iphone8 and now I'm seeing Iphone 14 with these issues. All over Reddit, Google, Iohone support groups and RUclips. Come on Apple, face up to this issue and fix it, instead of telling users is their batteries, outdated phones, etc, etc.

Oops. I thought I already performed “forget this network”. Apparently, I didn’t because it worked. WiFi issues resolved.
