Residents react to 2025 Buncombe County adjusted property tax increase

Buncombe County Commissioners approved a tax increase for home and commercial property owners on Tuesday, June 18. Residents sounded off about the change that goes into effect in 2025.

they raise title fees, taxes to fix the roads and yet they never fix roads unless more than a few people call about it. where is this money going?????

If you voted for the people that raised your property tax, don't move to another NC county and vote for the same types.
I'd like to see the retired teacher's reported gross income before accepting that money is tight for her.

rent goes up for folks every year. Crying over taxes....sucks hu. most cant even buy a house. Guess you should be happy. Maybe its downsize time. Oh i got it. Less Starbucks and avocado toast.
