I have a 2017 Lusso Fiat 124 Spider just like the one in your video but with the tan and black interior. I purchsed it in August 2017 and have thoroughly enjoyed it since the day I drove it off the dealer's lot. You were 100% right on in all of your comments and specially liked your comment about the ease of lifting and lowering the convertible top manually without any power assist. @@blazing9034 So if you were me, would you sell, trade or hold? I only drive my Spider about 3,000 miles a year and I have found a well known automotive business chain in the United States who says they will readily do the periodic oil change and filter.
@@sherhardap I am a piece of mind kind of guy.... with that said, I sold my spider and was able to sell it for 3,000 dollars more than what I paid. I will buy another weekend car next year when I can drive it more. I will buy a car that is not discontinued like a Miata. I also heard that the Miata is going to be redesigned in late 2022. @@blazing9034 I hear you... I tend to be a person who likes "peace of mind" as well. However, " love is blind" and I am in love with my Fiat 124 Spider. Therefore, I will be holding on to it for the near and distant future. I figure at around 3,000 miles a year, garaged, and driven only on blue, sunny sky days, with a little luck and no accidents, mechanically and computer wise, it should hold up for at least 30,000 miles/10 years. 🤞🙏 By then I would have had eons of fun driving it and hearing the oohs and ahhs of many people looking at it. Who knows like a collector of rare coins or fine art, its rarity on the road may grab the attention of an automobile aficionado. Otherwise, whatever loss that I incur by hanging on to it will not be too much worse than I have encountered occasionally in the stock market on a bad choice! 🙂
@@sherhardap all very valid points and I almost bought another Spider a few weeks ago. I thoroughly loved it and I would have kept it if I had the tan leather that I wanted. Enjoy your beautiful ride and enjoy life.
I loveeee the Abarth but there were none available in my area. I actually had to drive 500 miles to get mine so my first drive in my Spider was a 500 mile road trip lol. Thank you for the support
I like your enthusiasm for your 2018 Fiat 124 Spyder Lusso. It was a 2017 Fiat 124 Spyder Abarth that had me going to a local dealer for a test drive one day after work in the 1st week of March 2017. Sunny 60 degree day. Perfect for a test drive. I watched a video review on this model & was impressed by all the great things the reviewer had to say. So there in the parking lot was a White 2017 124 Abarth looking really good with Brembo brakes & a Red tachometer in the dash. The Black splitter in front & Black skirts on the sides added to the look. A 6 speed manual transmission was a must as I have driven a manual for the past 50 years. Traffic had picked up but putting the top down before the ride was easy. Impressive how fast up or down it can be done. Now if only the test drive had gone as well as my initial time in the car had gone. 1st off I noticed a heavy clutch pedal feel. 2nd the shift pattern seemed close. 2 times I stalled from a start thinking I was in 1st but really was in 3rd. The turbo lag in traffic was not fun. Just as you get moving ( after a delay ) another red light. Just could not understand why a heavy clutch in a sports car. Next day was a 2016 Mazda MX-5 Club soft top with the same color scheme White with Black ground effects / splitter / skirts / Black BBS wheels / Red Brembo brakes. It was a cold 40 degree day slight drizzle. I put the top down anyway with the heater blasting & side windows up. Completely different feeling from driving this car ! Super light clutch feel / shifter was easy to find the right gears. Handling was outstanding. You can feel the weight difference between the cars in the corners. More athletic than the 124 Abarth. Talking to the Mazda dealer he gave me a full weekend test drive to make a decision. So after work Monday I stopped by the dealer with my checkbook to BUY the MX-5 Club. Its my daily drive & really love this car ! When the snow flies I put the winter tires on it showing a 50 / 50 front to back balance makes it amazing in snow ! Almost 5 years with this car it continues to thrill me. I'm glad we had a choice of cars up until 2020 when Fiat cut the 124 Spyder from the lineup. They feel completely different in how they drive.
I would add that it's a little too small but that is because I am on the larger side; I WISH i could buy one of these smaller cars. Great straight talk to FIAT, you are right!
I own a Fiat 124 Spider for 8 years now. Best car I ever owned, and I had my fare share of Lexus, BMW and Audi. This car though, I will never let go. Trumps everything I had by a HUGE margin. Super fun, super lovable, super exclusive. After 8 years I have zero problems with it, good chances it will stay with me for the rest of my life.
I just came across your video and thanks. I am currently in the market for a 124. I prefer the Abarth but I have come across a Classico with only 9k miles and in a manual 6 speed. FIAT dropped the ball in the whole brand when they came back to America and I hope its something they can reverse.
I agree with you 100%. These cars are becoming harder and harder to find. If you can get a nicely equipped Lusso or abatth, you should get it. You will not regret it. Enjoy the car buying experience and Drive safely
Your color combo is exactly what I wanted but someone bought it from under me so I ended up getting the black interior. Enjoy your beautiful ride. Stay safe
Owning a MB slk with a manual transmission, I see where your coming from loving the car as any small convertible is a blast, and a manual is just the cherry on top. I am looking to update the slk, and slk's/slc's are automatic only, so that leaves mx-5 and the 124 in the small convertible with a stick shift that are reasonably priced.
Thanks for very well done video. Nice to hear an honest review of a car by a real owner. I have a 2018 124 Spyder Abarth and would agree with all of your likes and dislikes. I am often stopped by people asking about the car. It's a crying shame FIAT gave up on it. BTW, had my windshield replaced last week. $3,500.
@@blazing9034 I’m actually worried about that. A lot of gravel trucks on the road near our house. Might order a spare windshield from the dealer just in case. Kinda worried about future parts availability.
I love my red 2017 Abarth Spyder 124 ! It’s like a little Ferrari! It’s amazingly fast ! I had the 2014 500 Abarth ; but traded it in for the Spyder ! My only disappointment is that I’ve had to park my gem outside because no garage at the house. ….. I loved the Abarth too !
Another great upload and at least this time I'm not so late to the party. 😁 FWIW, I do like your Spider! It looks like you're doing well, but just a reminder that the reward is in the journey and not the destination. As always, Save the Wave👋🏿
Peterrrr, great to hear from you. I have not uploaded in a few months, been busy doing lots of nothing, lol. But trying to bring balance into my life. Stay well
Thanks for the highly informative video. You may have talked me into replacing my NA Miata witha "Fiata!" I do like the styling, and I did dismiss it due to the Fiat engine. I note though that the joint venture with Mazda is irrelevant to the engine reliability is it's a Fiat /Chrysler engine, yes? [Can't bite my tongue -it's "doctoral" not "doctorial".] Cheers!
Good job! I completely agree with you. The sales never took off because of the absolutely atrocious markekting and dealer prep for these cars. I bought my Classica in the summer of 2017 and had NEVER seen one on the road or noticed ANY advertisements. (The Fiat dealer was down the road from the Miata dealer, where I went first. I drove a new Mx-5, but loved the feel of the Spider MUCH better!) It took an "act of Nature" to even get a damn brouchure!!!!! I told the salesman that I wasn't going to buy the car uness he could get me a brouchure...which he finally did. Some people had to drive HUNDREDS of miles to find a car with the options (or no options) they wanted. Dealers were stocked up with automatics, and people were dying for MANUALS! These things were loaded with options peope didn't want, and it drove up the prices THOUSANDS of dollars! People complain about the size. Hell, complain to MAZDA-it's built on their specs! I'm very happy with my Classica, but I dropped in a K&N air filter, new DV value, and of course a set of Autoricumbi pipes. Otherwise, it's damn near purrrrrfect! Update at 4 year mark. It's still an awsome car, and over the last couple years, I've seen probably a dozen in my area. Everyone I talk with likes their cars. I'm still very glad I bought one and hope to hold onto it fof many years. The hardest thing about owning one of these is keeping the milage down. It's soooo much fun to drive!
I plan to add a K&N filter and autoricumbi pipes as well. This car is truly a blast to drive. Thank you for watching the video and for posting a comment. Drive safely
Love my blue Prima, all the options just like yours blue with the tan interior. This car is great but FCA and it's dealers network simply doesn't care. Now working from home I have seriously thought about downsizing my garage to a single vehicle but mentally struggle to sell the 124.
Hi, I have a 2017 Fiat 124 Lusso & have only 18000 miles & many problems with my car, I bought it new at a Chrysler / Jeep / Fiat dealership in Manhattan New York & it seems to me that none of the mechanics do not know anything about working & fixing my car. I almost never see another 124 Spider ever there except mine! It is still under warranty until April 2021. Never feel at ease when I take it for a long drive. I bought it for its looks & thought because It was made in Japan it would be trouble-free. When it is running I do love the way it rides, A real disappointment & loss for me since I am 73 years old & had many sportscars & thought to enjoy it for many years to come.
I am really sorry to hear that Robert. Hope you find a dealership that you feel comfortable with and eventually feel at peace with the car. Stay it in good health
Sell that Fiat 124 Lusso. Get an Mazda MX-5 soft top. Much better dealer network through out the country ! Plus it is easy to do your own oil changes & other maintenance. Plus if you have a problem on the road Madza has a service to pick you up & the car if you ever need it included for 3 years that you can extend out.
@@ag4allgood I sold the Fiat 124 Lusso in April after the 4-year warranty ended & bought the 2021 Mazda MX5 convertible which has been flawless & everything you have said. What a difference.
@@robertmiller1442 Nice job Robert glad you went soft top ! The instant throttle response in a naturally aspirated engine is truly a big difference maker. Hope you got the manual 6 speed as Mazda really does a great job on clutch feel too ! Plus now you have piece of mind with the Mazda dealer network. Mazda supports the MX-5 Miata really well.
Very well said. Mazda today is one of the most reliable cars on the road. I have a Mazda 3 , an e300 diesel benz n an in-line 6 jeep Cherokee, n i have to tell you the little 5spd 2.0liter Madza will definitely outlast all my present cars n past too, with equal amount of attention to maintaining them all. The only vehicle i have owned that could compete , was a Mazda B2200 5spd pick-up truck. I say could because it was a 1989 truck n my present champion , Madza 3 in an 07 model. 😊
Sad it got killed, and also happy. That means we have a "unicorn" kind of. I hope it becomes an icon. It's a great looking vehicle with very few made. My car always turns eyes and it's great that it's unique. Glad to pull up and see people say, "wow, look at that. What is it?" I had spent 5 months of continuous research looking for a convertible for my 50th birthday. Didn't pull the trigger before November 2017. I glossed over this. But, wow, when I saw one with my own eyes, for the first time, on a trip in the summer of 2018 in California. I then did 3 weeks worth of research and 2 test drives before buying it in October 2018. I got a great deal. 😁 I wish I had bought the Abarth rather than the Lusso. My partner talked me out of buying a fully loaded, manual transmission, Abarth because of where we live (happy wife, happy life even though I love Stick Shifts). Ruling out the 2018 Abarth stick, I only had the choice of 2 other vehicles. The dealer said they only had only accepted 8 of the cars total for 2017 & 2018. Two 2017 models were still available. I resolved that the fully loaded Lusso was fine since I turned 50 in 2017. But it was scary, eight cars in two years and three of them were still on the lot. The dealer gave me a great price just to get it off the lot. It really didn't help the brand to have no marketing and the dealers not supporting it.
I drive a 1991 Miata for 30 years - I am now passing to my kids and wanted to get the ND Miata - but now I think about the 124 Spider. Question is, should I go with the Abarth 124 or the "regular" 124?
I have Auto Rocmbi muffler delete on my classica and it sounds like a beast. I have seen a few on the street so it does own the exclusive title. I got rid of the Yokohama tires and use the Federal 595 much sexier and 1/3 the price. I will use the 595 rs rr when I buy the bbs 17. You can fit a 16 wheel in the boot if you have a flat by removing the interior rear trunk panel. To me this is a play car and losing trunk space is less concern.
Thank you! A thinking man's review. I agree. The average Chrysler product is below average because they are dedicated to stylish mediocrity. This car is a winner, and it is being ignored!
I purchased a A124 used with ALL the options. I believe I got a great deal for the amount of car I got! I Love my car, I will not trade it for the world! I'm hoping to give it a bit more hoorsie's! And Perfetto, Hopefully My Mistress and I will have a speedy great time together. She will hold me around the sharpest curve's and keep each other safe. 😂
I heard the manual transmission in this car is the Miata NC 6-speed, which is actually more reliable than the current ND manual transmission (I’ve read on forums that Mazda keeps trying to fix it with various revisions). It great to hear the FIAT engine is holding up. I thought I read the 500 engine wasn’t that reliable. Is this the same or s as different version of that engine?
Hey there, I'm with you all the way, like you I've owned my spider for 6 months, the only difference between your car and mine is the seats, mines are tan,I also own a Landover and jaguar, but I live at the beach in Alloway Scotland so you can guess what I drive.Like you I'll be keeping mine, how long? Maybe till it becomes a classic.Keep up the good work,I enjoyed the video.Cheers Hef.
I'm thinking about buying a 2020 but 1 thing nobody mentions in their videos is the maintainence. How often do I need to get oil changes, tires, etc. I have the most practical (yet boring) toyota rav4 18. Toyota covers oil changes, mileage, etc for up to 36 months. I'm reluctant to buy a fiat for that reason
just an fyi, it's no longer 'fix it again Tony' (since its so cliche and plus, Tony had retired long back.) now it stands for- 'fix it again Tommasino!'
Lack of sales success = greater exclusivity. I think this is a future classic. The fiat more so than the abarth. But where classics are costly to fix, apart from engine/body and body panels, you can maintain with plentiful mx-5 parts. Enjoy the rarity!
@@blazing9034 Its in the eye of the driver. Don't get into an accident with your Fiat 124 Spyder unless you have extra $$$$. Body panels are all Fiat & no longer made. The suspension / exhaust are Fiat too again not being made anymore good luck getting parts. There are some Mazda interior parts that are common to both cars. Your windows though are Mopar branded ... guess what ... yep they don't make them anymore ! The Fiat 1.4 Liter Turbo should be easier to find parts for. Now tell me about your UPSIDE DOWN Oil Filter that is buried in the engine compartment. What a mess ! Why Fiat ? Why ? I work on my 2016 MX-5 Club myself for oil changes & tire rotations. Plus the dealer network is outstanding for Mazda. Your exclusive 124 will not be cost effective in any accident. I agree with you don't see these 124s around its an exclusive club !
I've been in the market for the Fiat 124 spider and was wondering what type of fuel you put in it. I know the owner manual states that the car should receive premium, but can it take regular. Furthermore, I think the car has a knock sensor which changes the timing of the ignition caused by the difference in the fuel quality. Still, I would like to eliminate knocking altogether to preserve the engine.
@@blazing9034 i believe so :) and every forum confirms the fiat 1.4 multiair is reliable engine, and also light on fuel, so even the gas mileage is good, well thats awesome
If you get a reputable window repair shop you won't need to replace the facing for the windshield. The clips are only broken if they don't know how to remove the facing correctly therefore damaging it, I know this from experience. I had to replace my windshield already and my guy has experience with replacing the 124 windshield and did a superb job not needing to replace any of the facings. 🙌🏼 I agree with dislike #1 and 3 and I have one more to add, the paint job sucks!
A few years back, Fiat Canada web site referred me to the local Toronto area Chrysler dealers for the 124 Spider. However, when I contacted these dealers, they didn't have the 124 as Fiat advertised. Fast forward to present day, the exact same thing happened! Can you trust a car manufacturer that can't update their web on a timely basis?? Imagine the quality of their after sale service !! By the way, present day Fiat is no more reliable than its products of the past. Why do you think they stop importing the Fiat 500 and all her siblings??
Dinging the car for Fiat’s marketing isn’t fair. I’m certain Fiat used the budget it had to promote the car but with an exclusive, small-production vehicle there is limited mktg money. Even Mazda’s Miata marketing is extremely limited.
Heads Up to all owners! I recommend to always carry a can of Engine Oil. I lately used the car to commute (200km Autobahn oneway) for about a month. Just to discover that it does burn some oil. So u can end up dangerously low real quick. (The tiny Engine holds only 4-5qt) Btw. Great little Car. It was advertised in Europe with 140 Horses. As to provide some marketing distance to the Abarth. But it is known to be more likely around150-160.
In Canada, a full jam 2020 124 Spider exceeded $46K. That's insane for this car which pushes it will well over $50K with taxes in. It's not worth that kind of coin given how resale values are dropping like a stone. I'm hoping to get into one next spring as there are a few new 2019's still hanging around at Mopar Dealers. Now that they are out of production, I'm hoping potential buyers will shy away towards the MX-5 causing the prices to drop further. One thing I noticed in my last two test drives is the amount of rearview mirror shake. Does your 124 exhibit this nuisance?
I agree with you, that is too much money for this car. I ended up getting the deal of the century and bought this loaded Lusso for $19k USD. I have not experienced the rear view mirror shake. Have fun shopping and hope everything works out for you

Was just looking at Mercedes SL500/550 convertibles. Gorgeous car but the top has 9-11 (depending on year) hydraulic cylinder's and actuators. When one fails (seals) it puts more pressure into the rest and they all fail over time. $4,000 to replace them all with rebuilt parts. Hydraulic self leveling suspension is the same situation. I've owned a 124 for almost three years. I like the car, but my criticism of it is still quite long. 1. The cabin is too cramped and especially for the passengers. 2. The stock headlights are terrible and to change them it's a nightmare having to take off the wheel and remove covers to change bulbs. Whoever designed that needs firing. 3. The stock infotainment is basic. I have had to do a software upgrade to make it look and work decent. 4. The 'leather' seats are not actually leather, but cheap faux leather that wear very badly on the bolsters. 5. The rear wind deflector is less than useless. 6. There is not glove compartment and few areas for storage. 7. The oil cap can get stuck and difficult to remove. 8. The ball joints on the suspension (Mazda part) readily fail and I have had to replace them after 26k miles. 9. The headlights are ugly. 10. The stock exhaust is pathetic for a sports car. I have had to upgrade mine to a quad Ascari sports exhaust. 11. Something not quite right about the looks. It doesn't feel premium. 12. The car can get scuttle shake over bad bumpy roads. 13. The turbo low down can be very laggy and you have to drive around it. 14. The Fiat badges are embarrassing. I've changed mine to Abarth and scorpion ones. 15. The silver pillars around the windscreen make it look like a dated Chrysler crossfire. I've had mine painted.

@@sherhardap all very valid points and I almost bought another Spider a few weeks ago. I thoroughly loved it and I would have kept it if I had the tan leather that I wanted. Enjoy your beautiful ride and enjoy life.
2017 Abarth. You nailed it. This car is so much fun! I LOVE IT!
I loveeee the Abarth but there were none available in my area. I actually had to drive 500 miles to get mine so my first drive in my Spider was a 500 mile road trip lol. Thank you for the support
I’m 6’1 do you think I’d be to talk for this?
Thank you for the support
I own a Fiat 124 Spider for 8 years now. Best car I ever owned, and I had my fare share of Lexus, BMW and Audi. This car though, I will never let go. Trumps everything I had by a HUGE margin. Super fun, super lovable, super exclusive. After 8 years I have zero problems with it, good chances it will stay with me for the rest of my life.
E Male....Fantastic!
Great video bro! I 100% agree with all of your dislikes.... Fiat should have done more! This is a great car
OMG!!! Your comment about the doctorial degree was too funny!!! Great video bro
Lol... thank you for watching and for the support
Nice car. Same as mine but my has the brown Interior. Have fun like i have all Year long!
Best wishes from Germany.
Your color combo is exactly what I wanted but someone bought it from under me so I ended up getting the black interior. Enjoy your beautiful ride. Stay safe
The lack of marketing = Exclusivity
Thank you...I watched this before I bought a Lusso 3 months ago...Very Happy! Need more windy roads:)
Many congrats on your new ride! Drive in good health
@@blazing9034 Thank You
Owning a MB slk with a manual transmission, I see where your coming from loving the car as any small convertible is a blast, and a manual is just the cherry on top. I am looking to update the slk, and slk's/slc's are automatic only, so that leaves mx-5 and the 124 in the small convertible with a stick shift that are reasonably priced.
i absolutely love the look of the 124 spider.... it looks 'classic' to me!! i did have a '95 miata once..... but sadly sold it. enjoy your car!!
Thank you and OMG! I am sorry to hear about your windshield. Hope it doesn’t happen again.
@@blazing9034 I’m actually worried about that. A lot of gravel trucks on the road near our house. Might order a spare windshield from the dealer just in case. Kinda worried about future parts availability.
I've just replaced my windshield last week, should have been £2500, so iwent through my insurance costing me £115😁
I love how much it looks like the old one I used to have a 73 it was my first car
Stay well
"Balance" is always good! You may be out of sight, but never out mind. Stay well AND balanced!😉
I drove a new Mx-5, but loved the feel of the Spider MUCH better!)
It took an "act of Nature" to even get a damn brouchure!!!!!
It would have made all the difference in the world if FCA cared
Hi,
I have a 2017 Fiat 124 Lusso & have only 18000 miles & many problems with my car, I bought it new at a Chrysler / Jeep / Fiat dealership in Manhattan New York & it seems to me that none of the mechanics do not know anything about working & fixing my car.
@@blazing9034 Thanks but sadly there is no other dealership near me.
😂 , sorry i got a little too emotional about my 07 Mazda 3, but you should see the mileage on its odometer
Sad it got killed, and also happy. That means we have a "unicorn" kind of. I hope it becomes an icon. It's a great looking vehicle with very few made. My car always turns eyes and it's great that it's unique. Glad to pull up and see people say, "wow, look at that. What is it?"
I had spent 5 months of continuous research looking for a convertible for my 50th birthday.
I love my 124 spider had it now for three years
Definitely one of the best cars to drive. Enjoy
Fiat put so much effort into marketing the 500, so why not the Spider? It's an amazingly beautiful car!
Fiat is perfect car . You are absolutely right , if you maintain them they can run forever at least that's my experience
So agree with you on so many levels! Love the car!
I drive a 1991 Miata for 30 years - I am now passing to my kids and wanted to get the ND Miata - but now I think about the 124 Spider. Question is, should I go with the Abarth 124 or the "regular" 124?
Glad you called it a 124 spider and not a 1 24 spider.
I wonder if Fiat was Handicapped in marketing by Mazda.
I can see why Mazda would limit Fait not wanting it to make a big dent in Miata
That might be possible. The majority of the people that see the spider say it’s better looking than the MX-5
I've installed "Go Pedal" on my 124 spider manual. Boy, it makes huge difference!!
Thx for great video.
I have to try that. Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. Drive it in good health
I own a 2017 Lusso 124, and I get many compliments. It is so sexy! I have only seen one other in my area. Actually, I like that! Great video!
Yes, not many of these cars on the road and often times, people don’t even know what it is, lol. Drive safely and stay safe
Love this car. I plan to keep it for long time
Thank you! A thinking man's review. I agree. The average Chrysler product is below average because they are dedicated to stylish mediocrity. This car is a winner, and it is being ignored!
Got my 2017 Lusso. Doing some mods to it. Love it
I purchased a A124 used with ALL the options. 😂
great review, I was thinking about a Z4, heard the have a bad lifter tick problem. I may look at Fiat. I had a 1976 spider back in the day!!
On the fence on weather to get the lusso or the abarth. They both look fun to drive but I'm afraid of going drift crazy with the abarth 🧐
You cannot go wrong with either one. Drive safely and have the time of your life
I have the Abarth..it’s not over powered at all..I would recommend the Abarth if you can..
I'd be happy with an Abarth powered Lusso. 😊
Have you driven the Abarth? If yes, what your takes on the difference? Especially, the comfortness...
Hi guys. Why did JD power rate the 2020 Fiat spider 124 as very unreliable? I really want one, but after seeing that review, I want your opinion.
Very funny! I like your version better, lol
Great video, you got me sold on this car
Thanks for the video, but let me say that voice is bad in the garage, a lot of echo
I ❤ my 124spider.
Lusso in passione rosso with silver mirrors and for the summer the vintage-wheels.
Great car and the girls are looking😉
Yes, this car gets a lot of attention from the ladies for sure. Spiders are amazing cars.
Lack of sales success = greater exclusivity. I think this is a future classic. The fiat more so than the abarth. But where classics are costly to fix, apart from engine/body and body panels, you can maintain with plentiful mx-5 parts. Enjoy the rarity!
I hope you are correct, hands down this is a much better looking convertible when compared to the MX-5
So you’re glad that not a lot of people have it, but upset that it isn’t well advertised and that there’s a lack of awareness...
Makes sense...
Do you guys not have windscreen insurance over the water?
I've been in the market for the Fiat 124 spider and was wondering what type of fuel you put in it. I know the owner manual states that the car should receive premium, but can it take regular. Furthermore, I think the car has a knock sensor which changes the timing of the ignition caused by the difference in the fuel quality. Still, I would like to eliminate knocking altogether to preserve the engine.
is the 1.4l multiair engine really reliable as i heard it is? btw great video, im looking for to buy one
I have had no issues with mine and it’s been a blast, you are going to love it! Thank you for leaving a comment and drive safely
@@blazing9034 i believe so :) and every forum confirms the fiat 1.4 multiair is reliable engine, and also light on fuel, so even the gas mileage is good, well thats awesome
Can I ask you a question? How tall are you? I've heard they are not for tall people.
I had no clue this existed.
I agree with dislike #1 and 3 and I have one more to add, the paint job sucks!
Do you know anything about clearing out the water vents to prevent water leaks in the car?
Eeek.... so it leaks?
(The tiny Engine holds only 4-5qt)
Btw.
Have fun shopping and hope everything works out for you
@@blazing9034 That's a deal I would jump on immediately, even with the exchange rate.
Yes, I knew it was a great deal and I drove 500 miles to get it, lol.... hope you get to buy yours soon. You will not regret it
@@blazing9034 I'm going to be in the same boat as you. All the news ones that are left are past model year are located in the next Province over. I'm going to have to travel over 300 miles to get a new one.
@@blazing9034 Finally bought one. Been following a brand new 2019 Lusso (pearl white) with a m/t for a few months now that is located at a Chrysler dealer about six hours east of me in Montreal. They dropped the price on it this week and I called them and made them an offer; they accepted. Driving there this Monday to pick it up and drive it back home. Car comes with full warranty. Got a 1/3rd off full list. It's full jam, all options except the auto.
And instead of advertising it they outright stopped production
You want exclusivity, but wants it to be heavily marketed? I’m confused?
Was just looking at Mercedes SL500/550 convertibles. Gorgeous car but the top has 9-11 (depending on year) hydraulic cylinder's and actuators. When one fails (seals) it puts more pressure into the rest and they all fail over time. $4,000 to replace them all with rebuilt parts. Hydraulic self leveling suspension is the same situation.
As for marketing, when has Fiat ever marketed a car here?
Great vid...thx
I like the looks
But being it’s a Mazda with a Mutiair Fiat engine, no thanks
wonder how easy it is to find mechanics who can repair this?
Love your genuine #3 dislike
Thank you.... I am honestly disappointed that this car will not be produced anymore.
I think you're handsome.
Japanese like reliability? Maybe not???
I researched it and i do not fit in it.
Anyone 6 feet or taller have an opinion on this car?
Above 6ft you will not be happy with this car. I am 5 11 and I have the seat in the last notch already.
Amazingly, if u are under -say- 5 5 u can not see above the hood. (No seat height adjustment avail.)

BTW you said you like the the individualism, if they would advertise the car more than you will not feel exceptional. You would feel like you're driving a mustang. I'd rather them not advertise and keep it a secret. However on their part it's bad business Tru dat! But sshhhhhh!
I was thinking Crossfire, looking at the winshield frame - and the hood.
Production is stopping . just lost interest
Bullshit. I live in Madrid and I’ve seen my Mx5 nc 2 times in the last year.
Reliable? I rather have the MX-5 motor. Mazda made this car, not Fiat.
