What's your favorite Robert Eggers movie? I have to go with The Witch!
The Witch for me too!
@@gatheringleaves It honestly gets better every time I rewatch it, such a fantastic horror movie!
I have not seen Nosferatu, but of his latest 3 movies I would say The Northman is his best of those 3!
@@robertmortimer8288 The Northman is so metal, definitely a cool folklore experience!
The Lighthouse
Literally looks like there's a pair of glowing eyes in the background. Nice vid
Oh good, you see them too. Thought it was just me...Thanks for checking out the review!
Sounds like Eggers is 4-0 in his discography now. Ditching the family Christmas Eve party will be worth it🙂↕️😭
Haha if there's any valid reason for ditching the family Christmas Eve party, it's for a Robert Eggers movie! If you're a fan of all of his previous stuff, you're gonna have a field day with this one. Thanks for watching, TJ!
Another fantastic video! Thanks!
Thanks for always watching! Are you gonna be checking this one out?
Great review man, I'm glad to hear you really enjoyed Nosferatu as I've been seeing great reviews for it. Unfortunately in Ireland we don't get it until new years day but I'll definitely be planning on seeing it when we get it. Thanks for the review, have a great Christmas and a happy New year!!!
That’s a bummer about the release date, but it’s definitely a movie that’s worth the wait…Have a great Christmas and New Years too, dude!
I'm actually looking forward to this one. I can't say I've loved any of his movies so far, but I did enjoy the northman well enough. Great video man.
You're definitely in for a treat with this one if you enjoy gothic and vampire stories. Thanks for watching, JM!
Thanks sully! Needed confirmation on this one, def will be seeing in theaters. 🤝
My man, P! You'll definitely dig this movie if you're into the more moody and atmospheric horror stuff, Eggers is probably the best guy behind the camera doing that today. Thanks for checking out the review!
Glad you finally got to watch this one! I agree with all ur points. It’s such a great gothic horror tale with some amazing performances. I think my favorite is Lighthouse but I want to see how this movie holds up on rewatch. Great review, Sully.
The Lighthouse is probably my least favorite of his, but I've only seen it once and really need to give it another go...Might just be too bizarre for me. Glad you dug this one too, dude. Thanks for watching!
I thought this at first about lighthouse but rewatched it to prepare for this and actually really found much more to appreciate the second time around!
Great review as always. Im so excited to check this out tomorrow. Eggers best film for me so far is The Lighthouse
I really need to give The Lighthouse another shot, because that's the only Eggers film where I felt it just wasn't for me after watching it. Nosferatu definitely is though...Can't wait to hear what you think about it. Thanks for checking out the review, Zach!
I can't wait. Starts in an hour. I'm so tired but I have to see it now 😂
Sleep is overrated when Nosferatu is calling your name. Just make sure you’ve got some garlic handy...Let me know what you think after checking it out, you're in for a treat!
Have yourselves a scary little Christmas!
The best type there is as far as I'm concerned...Thanks for watching!
I liked it, but have to watch it again.. I didn’t get as surprised as of The Witch and Lighthouse.
”I am your neighbour now” made me laugh.
Im so disappointed that he didnt have Portal produce the music for this film. I wish he would have just left the overplayed and tired composer ecosystem that hollywood abuses just this once at least. Hollywood just recycles and resuses the same compsers or aimilar enough compositions over and over again because its safe. Listen to Curtain by Portal and watch the music video with good headphones. Now imagine that music paired with scenes in this movie like orlock's hand shadow creeping over the city, the camera panning around his gothic castle, or the chariot scene.... it would have created an extremely dreary gothic tone and atmosphere
One beautiful snowflake, two beautiful snowflakes...ah ah ahhh.
I need a Count Orlok Christmas album right about now...
