I'm just a normal everyday lady who feeds friendly wild foxes and squirrels that come to my garden. Under no circumstances am I trying to tame them as pets or allow them into my home. I am also NOT a fox rescue service. They turn up of their own free will. Being urban, food isn't always easy to find, as not many areas for them to hunt, so I like to try and help them a little if I can. They are not totally reliant on me and haven't lost the ability to hunt for themselves. I will give them medication when needed for mange, infections, and pain, but that is under the close eye of the fox experts 🦊
ChipChip, Cookie, Jimmy, Pip, Daphne, Ringo, and Howie are the seven regulars that arrive most evenings. Basil hasnt been seen since the end of November, just as mating season started 😪 But I live in the hope that he'll return one day 🤞
Biscuit was the first fox to befriend me back in 2021. Unfortunately she passed away Sept 1st 2023 and she is sadly missed by everyone who got to know her 😢❤️ I'd like to thank The Fox Angels Foundation and Second Chance Fox Rescue for all the help, support and advise with trying to help Biscuit. And the continued support they still give me. I can't thank you guys enough! 🦊🥰
Kenny and Norman, my two cats can be seen from time to time, plus there's Dave, the streetlight 🤣 Random cats, and not to forget the squirrels! ❤️ Plus, there's the badger! and sometimes a hedgehog!
So funny how very emotionally invested I am in all these foxes living across the Atlantic. That paired with Deb’s great and funny commentary is something I look forward to daily

Same! And she inspired me to do the same and now we have about 7 different foxes visiting as well as bunnies, squirrels, all sorts of birds including hawks, herons, owls and occasional eagle!

Morning den mum. Oh my goodness look at the size of magoo now he's huge. It's nice to see Simon still looks out for him. Simon's marking are stunning. A very handsome fella. And still a mummys boy which is lovely to see. But he will be weary of strangers which is sad but good. I said he wouldn't forget his mum. Magoo has changed so much. He always was a bit more independent which will benefit him when they are released. Thank you for sharing den mum. Xx

Hello Everyone! How wonderful to see Howie putting the limp leg down. Always hoping it will mend properly. 😍 Got me a good ole watermelon! Knocked it twice and the sound was a dull hollow sound and a creamy yellow spot! YUM!! The temps here in NJ are 90+. I was feeling a little drained although I was in ac car ... please stay hydrated and avoid being outdoors until this weather cools down a little.🙏
Hot as Hades here in Maryland too! They are predicting heat indices as high as 110+!! 😳

Hi Evelina. I haven't forgotten abt fibromyalgia symptoms/diagnosis. I am 2½ months in rehab & counting & under great stress bcs this place has failed that entire time to provide doctor ordered wound supplies for the proper care of my venous insufficiency wounds. Been banging my head against the brick wall of administration over this, & I had to file a complaint with my insurance company.

Morning Debs. Wonderful to see how Howie’s leg has improved. I always gobsmacked at how wild animals can recover from injuries. My vervet monkey troop has had a bit of a shake up and we have some nasty injuries within the troop but they all seem to be healing well. Monkeys can be really horrible to each other, the whole troop will turn on one individual and attack. It’s awful. They are not my favourite of species but I still feed them and if there are any injuries I can’t handle then it’s off to my wildlife vet. My African Black Footed cat Blue has just come home from the vets. She was in liver failure but is looking so much better now. Cross fingers we can get her back to full health. She is now 13 years old and I hand reared her. She was very sick as a kitten and basically went everywhere with me for at least three months. She could have left anytime she liked but she choose to stay. My serval Joss is the same. She was put into my soft release enclosure and was released only to come back about three weeks later. She now comes and goes as she pleases. Usually away about two months and back for a month. She comes back to have her litter and for me to help with the kittens and as soon as her kittens are ready she takes them off. Only one male, from her first litter comes back to visit. It’s very cool. I wish the Hyena would do that but he just refuses to leave. Too much of a mamas boy. Excellent for security though. I do live in the middle of nowhere,on my own, mostly. Good to have excellent security.

If you mean Poppy, she's doing brilliantly now, Her wounds have healed, and the fur is growing back. She's even started using her back legs again, now , as well ❤

I believe there are a few. A few black foxes have been spotted from time to time 🤔
@@debs3289 the black ones would be reds or possibly a melanistic grey. The red has a color phase that is dark normally referred to as a cross fox. Any that are totally black would likely be melanistic. We have quite a few greys here and down into south America
