I like it that you label it as "IEM 1" and "IEM 2" for the first couple of tracks to avoid bias in the audience and just subtly change it to the actual model later.
Yeah well for me its just kinda annoying i wanted to see which is clearer and Pro X are a step above the Pro's i like them way more im gonna get VK4's then later on get the Pro X's
Pro is bassier but muddy. Pro X is crisp and cleaner overall. (Listening with Awei ES10-TY and Awei Z1.) This settles it for me, Pro X is superior. Worth the additional 200PHP upgrade. Just ordered mine.

I just got a KZN ZSN PRO X today. The Bass, Mids, and Highs sound well balanced and good. It lacks that low bass rumble and High shimmer presence to be nitpicky about it but the problem is due to it being an earphone and not headphones. Overall, the best set of IEMs I have bought in this price range.
Pro X has loudness and clear vocals but in the Pro, it has deep bass with a whispering effect (loudness is a little low in the Pro but it makes the bass stand out). Those who love to hear Jazz, Pop (or istrumental) can go with Pro X and those who love the bass can go with Pro. (It is just my personal opinion)..
You’re the best, zpolt...great reviews and tests every time, and B is almost a challenge to listen to after listening to A. A feels like a relief to my ears (listening to this on my Starfields)

First off Mahalos. You were the first reviewer I have found that gave a sound comparison between the 2, and actually did a blind sound test. I've been searching for decent cheap IEM as my first pair. After listening to the tracks ( good choices to show what each IEM is capable of). I prefer the sound signature of the PRO X, albiet a bit bright, its not overly bright which i appreciate ( I cant get enough of Hi-hats on drums ) Mids sound forward and warm to my ears, and the bass is there not woofy but gives a good punch wish it were sharper but these will do as a base for cheap IEMs. Keep up the good work subscribed!

I have the ZSN Pro X and if you want the best sound out of them, make sure you use the correct cushion for your ear hole. I am using the smallest they sent and they seal up tight in my ears. That is the key, to make sure they SEAL in your ear. These make my Sennheiser Momentum over ear headphones sound like junk. I use these with my LG V30 using the DAC and I play 96/24 and 192/24 audio. $25... I was skeptical. Not any more. These are outstanding for music.
depends on your preference actually. i prefer warm sounding with just enough clear mids & highs, so i am for ZSN PRO.. ZSN PRO X is a bit bright for my liking.. yes, detailed but bright.
i was long thinking that i am a bass head. but seeing this review makes me realize i am a balanced type all along. i love when i hear every detail but not too weak in bass. so my choice is pro x
Wow! The Pro X is, definitely better, it is just over all calmer and clearer. The bass is lower but separation is much better. Overall a better listen than the ZsN pro. Which I have and they are a bit too bright for my taste and I have to equalize them . But I feel with the Pro X all I'll have to do is push the bass a bit. I love them. Listening from my oneodio monitoring headset with based freq 20-40KHZ Both are great audio output, but ill gonna pick KZ ZSN PRO X coz of the flat and clear raw sound! Great content zplot! Thanks!
Wow, the ZSN PRO X has a lot more space and clarity than the PRO model, which is more muffled and the high mids get lost, as well as being pretty muffled. The ZSN PRO X manages to bring voice and sounds like guitars with a lot more power, the bass is very present with the PRO model, and the highs like drum cymbals are very present, but that can steal a little brightness from the mids. I would say that the PRO would be for someone looking for more relaxing music and the PRO X would be for people looking for more energy and joy.

Got the ZSN PRO X this 2023 (coming from ZSN PRO) and I can say that this version I got sounds different from this video and from what I am expecting from the old reviews. Mine has a different cable and is not braided, and the nozzle filter is not the metal with holes, instead mine has a white cloth filter. As for the sound, it's tamer and warmer than my ZSN PRO, less aggressive and less sparkle on the highs. less midbass and more sub bass for the X, bass is boomier and looser. My ZSN PRO has tighter, punchier bass, less boom, is airy and spacious. but the X version I got sounds fuller. I wonder why
i actually bought the X version bc i wanted a more revealing and sparkly highs because I'm a bit of a treblehead. but the version I got with the white cloth mesh surprised me it's quite a basshead iem lots of sub bass in this.
I also have both after believing i lost my pro x's ( i didnt...long story) and ordering the pro's as a replacement. so i have: - grey PROs, came with a copper cable, not braided, which is more flexible than the silver cable that comes with the PRO X - black PRO Xs, wire mesh with a very slightly larger aperture than the PROs, silver cable that'#s annoyingly stiff in the winter when it's cold. Using one of bud each on the silver cable, they are identical. There's no tonal imbalance, nothing. I've not tried the copper cable yet.
Yeah, my thoughts too. Maybe due to post equalization on the source device? If this was the output using the current recording procedure, it seems that the Pro X has the tendency to be sibilant on guitar focused songs. BTW I am playing/hearing this from Alto TX208 Speakers so not sure if this is due to my Playback Setup.
I don't know what's going on because my Pro and Pro X sound 95% the same, nowhere near the difference in this test. No EQ, direct from a Samsung A71 and from shanling UP4 on low and high gain. Now I need to try other sources 🤔

I feel like this sound test pretty accurately gives away the sound. The pro sounds darker and warmer compared to the x. The x is brighter but you get better detail and clarity. Attack on all frequencies is a little harder on the x as well.
Separation is really good with Pro X. I used TRN MT1 to listen to this. I'm glad I ordered Pro X instead of Pro. Im not saying pro is bad, it is just that I am looking for a good soundstage that is why I prefer Pro X.

Damn. ZSN PRO X sounds a lot better here. Instrument separation is better and it feels more neutral than the pro. Too bad I just ordered the pro and it is already OTW. Prolly gonna sell it right away in exchange for the ZSN PRO X haha. I hope DB3 and ZSN are included in the full review. Been thinking if I should go for ZSN PRO X, ZS10 PRO, CCA C10, or Blon 03. I'm having a hard time choosing the right one since my MI HD Pro broke.

I just got these today. Very little bass can hear vocals and highs much more. Perfect for those who are the opposite of bassheads lol. Idk if im describing things right. Not a audiophile lol
Listening to this using ZSN Pro X (just arrived today!), and the sibilance is killing me. Treble squared! The ZSN Pro sounds especially thin through the X.
Vocals seem more recessed on the zsn pro. I would pick the pro x I would like this compared to the other x, zst x, and maybe some other budget IEMs like the st1, vk4, and db3
I have the zsn pro x and the zst x. I'm no expert at explaining, but to me, switching from the zst to the zsn feels like the bass and treble take a step back and let the vocal shine. The zst is more v shaped.
I have both and I can't really notice much of a difference, except for maybe a tad more detail in the highs with some more sibilance for the Pro X. Perhaps I just need to let them burn in some more

to my ears, if this is accurate, the pro x sounded way cleaner than the pro.. it might be just me but the pro got this aggressive hissing (im not a music guy so im sorry for the lack of proper wordings) that is just not good for me for prolonged usage (I'm on my laptop mostly daily doing stuffs while listening to array of songs so around 10-12hrs daily maybe?). I didn't get some real comparison here except when i really try this personally. But i want to ask what is different of this two? I have ZSN Pro. But the Pro X has the same Frequency as the previous Pro.
Pls show some comparison graph. It's hard to understand like this. Show some visuals, interact with audience. How can I actually know the difference on my cheap earphones? I need to know more on technical side from all aspects. This is not the right way to show comparison.
A seems to have a better sound stage and a more crisp sound whereas B has more bass still being much clearer. Overall I prefer A because of that wider soundstage.
It's not supposed to be accurate. It's supposed to illustrate the difference between two (or more) earphones. Besides, unless you're using super neutral gear, even if the recording is perfect of course it's not going to be accurate.

I much prefer the sound of the Pro X. It's just so clear and the trade of bass is worth for the clarity. BTW I'm listening on the ZSN Pro. Might pick up the X later.

mas less warm na ang pro x compared sa pro. at parang mas piercing ang highs sa pro compared sa pro x. simply put mas tamed or mas relaxed na ang sound sa pro x. dpende na rin sa preference mo kung gusto mo mas deep na bass sa pro ka na lang. sa pro x kung gusto mong smooth lang at mas naririnig mo ang mga instruments.
Please mention if zsn pro x is good aswell for gaming. I have zsn pro and vk4. I like zsn pro for music more. and I prefer vk4 for gaming. Please mention it If ZSN PRO X is good for gaming.
Pro x is newer than blon 03 and cheapers, and better design & cable! And it has cleaner sound signatures, buy zsn pro x you won't regret, its full rounded iem!

For a first timer like me, this is actually useful because all the articles i've seen suggests that pro x was just cosmetic wise only.

I have the zsn pro x and the zst x. I'm no expert at explaining, but to me, switching from the zst to the zsn feels like the bass and treble take a step back and let the vocal shine. The zst is more v shaped.

Pro X sounds like the left driver has reversed polarity.😅 both are peaky, mids are super recessed. The pros got better bass than the x, imo.

I have both and I can't really notice much of a difference, except for maybe a tad more detail in the highs with some more sibilance for the Pro X. Perhaps I just need to let them burn in some more

to my ears, if this is accurate, the pro x sounded way cleaner than the pro.. it might be just me but the pro got this aggressive hissing (im not a music guy so im sorry for the lack of proper wordings) that is just not good for me for prolonged usage (I'm on my laptop mostly daily doing stuffs while listening to array of songs so around 10-12hrs daily maybe?). Thank you for the vid, now i know which one to get.

IMO there is some bias because my stock earbuds have suppressed mid-bass, but man PRO X is bright tonal and PRO is more bassy and relaxed.

I didn't get some real comparison here except when i really try this personally. But i want to ask what is different of this two? I have ZSN Pro. But the Pro X has the same Frequency as the previous Pro.
Pls show some comparison graph. It's hard to understand like this. Show some visuals, interact with audience. How can I actually know the difference on my cheap earphones? I need to know more on technical side from all aspects. This is not the right way to show comparison.

A seems to have a better sound stage and a more crisp sound whereas B has more bass still being much clearer. Overall I prefer A because of that wider soundstage.

The A is better, is more clear and open sound, the B is too muddy and dark, to be honest the KZ tunning sucks, it has the metal feeling

It's not supposed to be accurate. It's supposed to illustrate the difference between two (or more) earphones.
Besides, unless you're using super neutral gear, even if the recording is perfect of course it's not going to be accurate.

mas less warm na ang pro x compared sa pro. at parang mas piercing ang highs sa pro compared sa pro x. simply put mas tamed or mas relaxed na ang sound sa pro x. dpende na rin sa preference mo kung gusto mo mas deep na bass sa pro ka na lang. sa pro x kung gusto mong smooth lang at mas naririnig mo ang mga instruments.

No, they're definitely not the same. Pro X tames the shouty signature that original Pro has and fills out the lower midrange a tad better.
