Just got some for my 11year old. She loves the look of them. I liked the sound. Definitely better then the AKG branded ones that came with my phone.

The previous ZSNs are for hifi listening. Pro X is for stage monitoring and recording studio monitoring where flat accurate response is preferred. Exciting colored sound is usually not ideal for recording and monitoring use since you cannot mix objectively.
@@josevictor1702 yes I do believe that classical or any type of music that would require more separation or clean and clear sounds would sound amazing on the Pro X's. I daily the Pro X's on 80s-90s Jpop. The stereo from the 80's is quite fun on the Pro X.

@@guesswhothis sorry but i have not personally tried it, so i cannot compare but try crinacle, he's a youtuber with an iem database of sound profiles and ratings. Sound is subjective so take it with a grain of salt.
I can attest to this. I concur. Have both. If you have the Pro X, imagine inside a Recording STUDIO, that's what you hear from this badboy. Been wearing the Pro X most of the time, my personal preference. :)
I am wondering if there is any obvious difference when comparing with my current CRN Zex Pro. Flat accurate response is what I need for monitoring/recording, so therefore I will give Zsn Pro X a try, thanks

I bought these because DankPods spoke very highly of KZ and I need new earphones because JBL decided to die after 2 seconds which sucks cause they were my go to

I've got Bass+ Sony headphones and although they sound great to my virgin ears I think they're to woofy for my music. I mainly listen to metal and rap and sometimes it can just sound a little overdone. So I think these will be more balanced for me

@@haki9922 yes you can it's really good for the money you pay comfort at its peak with way above average sound seperation and quality you can only feel fatigue if you listen to very treble oriented music or else I listen to music sometimes 16 + hours no fatigue you won't even remember you are wearing iems .

Unbeatable in ears for the 20$/€ street price.
But: The tuning could be better. The frequency response has a definite V shape so lots of bass lots of treble but the mids fall a bit short. I played with different equalizer curves and yes, these sound better with cranked up mids.
Which ones do you think should I get? I want more neutrality but not for more than 30-40€. Been thinking about ordering the Moondrop SSP.
I suggest you get CCA NRA or KZ DQ6. If you want something even more neutral, Moondrop SSR or Quarks.

Nice review! I just have one question. Would you recommend this for tracking and for music (i mostly listen to indie rock) ? I'm also thinking of getting this so I could listen to music while lying on my bed without using my over-ear monitors but still getting an accurate sound representation.
Yes, the profile is fairly flat in the ears so they should be fine for lying in bed.

Hmm bl03 would be my pick but as you may know the fit can be tricky. T2 plus is good too and Moondrop SSP if you have a powerful enough source.

Straight forward review! Few questions! Planning to get this as a backup earphone for my iphone if I ever like to play the real time drum apps since bluetooth iems cause so much delay on iPhones. Is the silver plating makes the sound much better? I have a spare brown cable with mic lying around and planning to buy this since I had a left piece of a zsn pro. Is it worth it to get the silver one with mic or just use the default zsn pros? Thanks!
The brown cable will be just fine and you're unlikely to hear any changes by using the spc one.
I got the KZ ZSN Pro X but am disappointed because the earpiece is simply too large. It doesn't fit in my ear and falls out, otherwise forcing it in is too uncomfortable. I think they are likely built for men.

Just got the kz zsn pro x for my ps5 and they’re wayyyy better than my headset.
I just got mine few days ago. Question is do I need a software to maximize my iem? I often use it in my PC. Thank you
For music you should use Hi-res files and maybe consider a dongle or small desktop DAC
I forgot to mention you should use something like Foobar2000 or MusicBee for music software.

I was planning on getting these over the DQ6 due to the problems that KZ was having with them (manufacturing issues about glue inside them?) but watching your reviews of both ZSN & DQ6 really convinced me that the DQ6 fits me better. Normally buzzing comes from a noisy source like a computer etc

The Chu has a more high-fidelity sound signature vs the ZSN Pro X's more traditional V-shape. ZSN Pro X has a beefier bass but vocals are not as forward as the Chu. Pro X is still a good IEM, it just depends on which presentation you like best.

The bass is good when they seal in the ear properly otherwise it's so weak
I got them for fun to compare with my Airpods 3 and the Apple are much smoother and balanced

I'd rec the KZ DQ6 or BLON BL03/Mini. The Mini is actually a safer bet than BL03 when it comes to fit.

zpolt lets you listen to them somehow and the pro x sound way better than the zsn pro and zst x in his videos. the others sound less clear like hd for your ears gets switched on especially the zstx comparison... your video has me thinking again now..zsn pro or zsn pro x (i do like bass)
ZSN Pro has a little bit more bass but ZSN Pro X has more controlled bass and a cleaner midrange. BUT, if you can scrape a few more dollars together I highly recommend you get the KZ DQ6 instead.

I haven't heard the Wan'er but I think the Chu (or 7Hz Zero) would suit your needs best.

Yes, the x2s will sound better than your phone. But if you use Spotify or Tidal etc you might want to consider a dongle DAC since x2s can only play from an SD card.

Got a pair today and don't like them at all. I'm used to listening to music on reference monitors and headphones in my home studio and I'd say these just sound bad. Made some of my favourite tunes flat and boring with occasional wince inducing upper mids and not comfortable for my ears (tried with several tips). Wanted to try some multi-driver IEMs for a while, not a good start for me.

Tbh I would recommend you kz zst pro even if it's kind of old because the zst pro are so much cleaner up top with leaner mid base the vk4 has a little bit more bass but the zst pro has more details and cleaner...

Have you tried using different eartips? If you're not getting a good seal then you won't get a proper bass response and it will sound harsh. If you're just treble sensitive then you could check the KZ ZVX.
DQ6 or ZSN Pro X for a guys buying IEM for the first time. I am coming from cheap earphones.
The DQ6 is a clear step up in quality and definitely worth paying a little extra for.

That is background noise from your source (probably a laptop?) I'd suggest getting a cheap dongle DAC.

Bro, if you're plugging a dongle into your phone the sound quality will be much better than your standard phone audio.

These are definitely not ok to use in the shower! They will withstand some light rain and sweat but if you use them in the shower they will probably die pretty fast.

Pro X has smoother bass and smoother treble. ZSN Pro is more exciting but a bit more raw sounding.

Idk ZSN pros, but zst x has better soundstage(forward, backward) than e10s, the treble is better in zst x. Bass in e10s are not as tight as zst x. Overall, zst x sounds airy compared to e10s. I own both zst x and e10s

Sounds just like what they did with ibasso, from the it01 to the it00.... reduced bass and brought the mids forwards but took out the fun in the process.
